Silas is mentally exhausted. He had plenty of time to recover from the walking, but his mind was racing for most of the time. The topics were varied, from the teleportation array, to the mechanics of goo-mon, to ways of treating paint poisoning, if that's what the goo really way, and more.
Regardless, he has a mission report to give. Fortunately, Cain has already heard most of it from Soleil and Thoron, and Silas already reported on his most important finding. He just had to try (and probably fail) to correct his team's attitude on their colleagues. Friendly competition has value, but there's a difference between rivals and enemies. That's doubly true when your life is at stake. Cain needs to know about the tensions to properly assign manpower or take corrective action.
"That sounds about right, but we'd all be dead if the other team hadn't helped with the last fight. That monster was a poor match-up for our team and more than four people could handle. And that's not even getting into the fight before that, where we were horrendously disorganized. We, and by extension the city, were lucky today."
Well that diverged from the original plan. Silas's focus seems to be wavering, and his mental filter is faltering as well. He attempts to get back on topic.
"Getting along with the other team as a whole would be difficult at this point. We're trying to make them look incompetent for some reason, and I haven't matched Rose's attempt to play peacemaker(and there's no way anyone else will). Things aren't changing unless we're forced to work as one team of eight. And that'd be a mess too."

By the end of the RequieGlop scuffle, it was obvious Leslie just wanted done with this mission. It was exhausting. Even the amazing experiences of the elevator and the warp circle-thingy couldn't save the day. Let those who care argue with the others, she wanted outties and into a reclined, cushioned position.
When the squad finally returned to the warehouse, she plopped straight to the floor clutching Meowspunny. With the feline positioned as a pillow, it looked like Leslie caught some much desired Zzzz's. She didn't, because it's really hard to sleep with a hair munching cat-thing under your head, but she did get some rest. Some.
As the debriefing began, the thoughts and musings that rolled though her head on the walk back still filled her head. Rocket skates. They come with a parachute in case you high-five the Shaft with your body.
Roooooocket skaaaaaaaaaates. Zz-yooooooom.
"I've got nothing else to add besides a request to look into whatever interfered with the communications to try finding a workaround or fix. Signals get choppy all the time, but it cleared up after the destabilization. On the off-chance something like this becomes more common, countermeasures should be researched." Leslie actually had so much more to add, but those thoughts were best kept close.
How did that Pokemon manifest so much goo? How was it the Technicians had no qualitative data on it? Why did it do what it did? But most importantly, that was Requiem... HOW was that Requiem?
Weighed down by the day's impressions, Leslie's body language is that of wanting to be somewhere else. Which, let's be honest, it's what she normally looks like.

"Well, thank you for your enthusiasm in reporting the evens, Jensen." Cain says, "But, in the future, I would rather have some more description. Especially when monitoring is knocked out for several minutes. 'Goo-something' does not tell me very much. Even a general body shape tells me more."
At Thoron's report, Cain simply nods, before stating, "That's much more informative. We have footage of the Warehouse attack, so hopefully that will help us fill in the blanks on that particular being. I don't know what to say on the fact that it seemed to be the same person... or Pokémon... behind this mission and the last one. Are you certain that she was the same?"
Waiting for the last two reports to finish before talking again, he addresses the communication issue first. "Once we figure out... how to cut down on or prevent that interference again, then you'll be informed via your P*DA. I'm sure you can understand it being a little bit hard to figure out when the recording device is the one that's being interfered with, but, hopefully we can solve it."
"Now," he takes a deep breath, looking at each Technician in turn, "I suppose we should address the elephant in the room. That of your interactions with the other team. I understand that you met in... less than ideal conditions, with you all suddenly appearing in front of them. They reacted appropriately to an unknown who had capabilities that you presumably did not. And, thankfully, the situation was defused. He swings to face Soleil, raising his voice a little. "So that should have no bearing on your actions later. In what situation do you think it's okay to throw a weapon at a fellow Technician, especially in a post-combat situation? I understand that it's more like throwing a gun at someone than shooting them with it, but it doesn't matter. Such behaviour is unacceptable. Especially since it was after a valid question as to why you did not attempt a capture, as per policy, if perhaps delivered a little snippily. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"To be fair, the question arrived after said member did absolutely nothing to contribute sir." Soleil said with a frown. Why was she being blamed? She had been a great help that fight and had been amazing! "I understand the protocol but even with B-team's backup the fight was still very tense and there were a few knock outs and bad injuries. The goo monster things were also making the terrain dangerous making speed vital not to mention Requiem possessing unknown combat potential and growing stronger at the time. I would have loved to capture her, for sure. But she had shown herself to be capable of taking quite a few hits, speaking of which I think my rifle needs more boom. However, my final shot ended up being far more effective than prior shots causing an unexpected, but welcome, increase in damage to her dropping her faster than expected." She explained trying to give more detail like he had asked.
"Meanwhile Idiotface had sat around doing nothing after throwing one useless attack at the start and then being instantly knocked out at the start. She could have been providing support, healing, or capture attempts while those capable of weakening the enemy did so. Had Requiem survived my final shot I would have considered attempting a capture check. However, I will also point out that previous mission intel stated pokemon were uncaptureable and also the strangeness of the lady being a pokemon and a human or something. To have attempted to capture said human pokemon in the middle of combat as dangerous as it was would have meant not providing covering fire for my team and risking her injuring more of the team as evidenced by her massive array of elemental attacks ranging from psychic, to fire, to water, and possibly more. My own trapinch was barely standing and one of the few capable of defeating the gooy things due to their strong armor." She added with a sigh. This was so long and boring. "In addition due to the danger of the blobs most people were focused on dealing with them while I kept Requiem busy with assistance from the Hair-nommer. To have stopped firing while she still appeared healthy and in strong condition to have tested what would most likely have been an impossible capture would have put more people in danger and could have tilted things another way. Again, had my rifle not suddenly done more damage then expected my next action would have been to weigh to benefit of the attempt."
She took a breath, "So, when I was very focused on aiding the team and trying very hard to help defeat a deadly foe, idiot face was sitting around looking for reasons to bash others to make her own failures look good. At the very least applying medicine to keep our pokemon in the action could have given more of a safety net to allow capture attempts. Or she could have tried herself. Then after combat the first thing she does is charge me, yelling and insulting and belittling me. It probably wasn't the best action, but adrenaline from combat and uncomfortableness combined caused me to comply with her wishes by attempting a capture. She wanted a capture attempt so I complied, sir. I don't know why she wants us to throw pokeballs at humans but if she asked it seemed only polite to do so." She said with a nod.
"Oh and we had just seen the Requiem human is a pokemon thing so I mean technically for all we know any human could be a pokemon in disguise or whatever Requiem was. It seemed something worth checking just in case she was an evil dumbdumb spy." Soleil noted. "And sir, if you would give me a target I would show you that I can throw pokeballs very hard and use them to cause injury. I specifically did not throw it hard at her face and knock her out and instead only lightly tossed to comply with her request that I attempt a capture." She ended. "In short, it was intentionally thrown gently, she asked me to, humans could be pokemon in disguise apparently, and I have zero regret about my actions in combat as they were for the benefit of the team and my final shot did more damage than previous shots causing an unexpected kaboom of Pokelady's face."

"Just because someone has lost their Pokémon, and is not trained in firearms, does not mean that they're not attempting to contribute," the Captain says. "Not everyone has the same specialty. Some people actually have to close in, in order to use their skills. And, as you yourself, and the other team, mentioned, the ground was becoming increasingly dangerous to approach. If you doubt Solomon's abilities, remember that she is still a Technician, and all that implies. I am sure that she would gladly go a few rounds sparring with you in the gym."
"And keep in mind that you are still a Technician," he says in a stern tone. "So, you will be respectful. Tell me, Jensen. Does this sound respectful? Regardless of anything the others said. I have already spoken with them." He hits a few buttons on the datapad he's holding, and then familiar voices emit from it.
"Well, maybe if someone hadn't shot first..."
"You had plenty of time. You could have spent all the time you spent ordering your pokem---oh wait... You didn't do anything. You are whining that you didn't have a chance, you had ALL the chances while we were actually being useful. But fine, you want a capture attempt?" There's a pause in the voices, followed by the sound of something being thrown. "Happy?"
"What. The. Hell. I'm not going to-"
Cain presses another button, and the recording shuts off. "That is far below the standards that a Technician should hold themselves to. And if you seriously believed that she was actually asking you to throw a Pokéball at her, then I would say that you would require a re-evaluation. I would hope that that isn't the case, though. I hope that I'm making myself understood here, Technician."

"She was rude too. I hope you told her not to yell or get in my face..." Soleil mumbled under her breath. "I still stand by the fact that with all the time that based in the combat something could have been done, regardless of skill set. My team can't shoot people either, but at no point where any of them useless. It wasn't about a few moments moving around, it was the entire time. It seems annoying that she can do nothing and then come yell at me like I'm the problem. I was very helpful this mission and was a huge part in taking down Requiem while my Trapinch was very helpful with the goo things."
However, she paused after that and crossed her arms, "Fine...it won't happen again. Ok?" She couldn't believe she was getting in trouble instead of praised after her great work. She had hoped killing Requiem would have made up for the influence from the first mission, but now she was just looking bad again because of tattletale idiots from the other team this time.

"Any disciplinary actions against any other team remain a matter between the administration and them," Cain says, "Just as this will remain in here."
"I would hope that nothing like this happens again," he continues. "And that goes to all of you. Teamwork is more important than self-aggrandizement. Now, is there anything else that any of you would like to share, or discuss, before I dismiss you for the time being?"

Lacking anything that warranted further discussion at the moment, Thoron says as much, then awaits dismissal. While he disagreed with Solomon's treatment of his teammate, saying as much would be pointless. They would simply have to trust that the Administration dealt with that issue satisfactorily.

Silas hears the shift in Cain's tone as he finishes the initial evaluation, and the expectation of conflict puts his mind on alert. What happens next could be critical for the development of the team. All in all, it was disappointing. Cain was brutally professional about the whole thing, which is to be expected of someone in his position. Meanwhile, Soleil showed no signs of reflecting on her actions, fully intent on blaming any failings on bad luck or the other team. Silas has seen more reflective children in his life. At this rate, it will take exactly the right kind of life-threatening shock to knock some sense into the girl. Unfortunately, such an incident would probably put Silas's life at risk, and he has no plans to walk into something stupid. Silas had assumed that Omega had logged the final fight as video and transmitted it to base, but it seems that was not the case. Since the others didn't mention anymore details, it falls to Silas to describe their opponents. With the tension from Cain's chastisement fading, his mind won't produce a verbal description of his foes. Fortunately, there's an easier way. "If we don't have video from Omega, I can make a quick sketch of the false Requiem and the thing it made. The monster was huge, and had strong physical attack and defense. It also split in to two parts on defeat. 'Requiem' was an illusion produced by another creature with powerful ranged attacks. Its tail was dripping goo."
As he speaks, Silas procures a writing implement and paper and starts to sketch. When he is done, he places his hastily-made drawing on Cain's desk.

"No, sir..." Soleil mumbled still upset that not only had she not gotten praised but she had gotten in trouble again. She would have to try even harder next mission since that was two times she had gotten in trouble. Who knew what would happen next time and she was scared of being useless and thrown away.
With nothing else to say, Soleil got up and left the jar of good on the table for Cain to do whatever with and headed back to turn in all her leftover supplies and then head to the main room to clean her rifle and try to figure out what to do next time so that everyone would agree she was the best.

"Nnnnnnnnmm." Outwardly Leslie was exhausted, but that belied her true status, for the cogs in her head were twirling in thought and theories. Twirling, but with nothing to show. She needed information, or at least discussion with someone else.
All of this was very likely above her paygrade though. Cain would keep any real info secret, if he shared anything at all. Omega could help, but there's no telling if he would alert anyone to her snooping, willingly or not. No, she needed an equal... one of her squadmates.
Something was happening in the shadows of Arcadia, and she never liked being surprised. No such thing as spoilers for Leslie.

Cain takes Silas' drawing, squinting at it before saying, with a lighter tone, "This is better than nothing, Floros, but you might not want to think about quitting your day job just yet.""But, very well, then," He continues, nodding. "If that's everything, you're dismissed. Make sure to take some time for yourselves, especially since you were a little... resctricted in your activities last time. All work and no play makes for some very stressed out Technicians."End Mission 2
