Moria stares at where Chris was just a moment ago before glaring angerly at Callix. "That was too much, Callix; have you been listening to him at all!? He's terrified and stressed, and I don't blame him!" The tears she has been holding back start running down her face. "I'll go after him. You two can finish up here and follow us." She points her hand at him. "I'll talk to you later." She turns away from Callix and starts to walk away. "It's time to leave, Tilda. Let's go." Tilda gives a subdued confirmation as she follows, clearly unsettled from what just happened. As Moria gets closer to Chris, she shouts out to him. "Chris, don't run!" She attempts to run ahead of him and stop him from running any farther. "It's dangerous to go out there alone!"Moria Delienza made a Intimidate Check at Callix for his actions! | ymneukGT1d6 |

Vivian gets tired of unplugging things carefully, and just pulls on the drive till it comes out of the computer. She can recycle anything that comes off the computer, anyways. "I'm not going to gang up on you," she tells Callix. "But we're leaving, so give me my bag and please, don't cause more trouble. Thank you." She makes it a point to not stare at any cadavers on her way out of the building. As she emerges outside, her eyes track the exterior, looking for any unseen dangers. Callix hands over the bag with a shrug and follows Vivian out the door. He seems completely nonplussed by the series of events that has occurred, and if anything, the slight curl at the corner of his lip says he's pleased with himself, although the reason for this is hidden to all but himself. Chris stops and looks and his hands, now covered in blood. "I-I-how can we ever fix this?" He looks back up to Moria with tears in his eyes, body shaking.

As Callix and Vivian exit the building, they notice that the area around it is oddly quiet. No wild pokemon poking about, no birds chirping or singing, nothing. It's an almost eerie quiet, only interrupted by the wind from the coming storm. It's almost as if things are AVOIDING this place, though with the scene inside you don't think you can blame anything for that. The storm is moving in... Thunder crashes, and you both swear you see a shape screaming through the clouds as lightning strikes somewhere in the distance. There's a signpost nearby, indicating a split in the path. You can either go through the forest or around it, both will get you to town, though going around will take about two more hours, according to the sign. With the storm like this already, would it really be a good idea to stay out in the open? Moria and Chris are fairly close to the forest entrance by the time Chris stops running. He's shaking, but it's not just from the emotions swirling inside of him. There's... something else. Something more instinctual. Thunder crashes and lightning strikes somewhere off in the distance. The storm is picking up, and it doesn't look very forgiving. The shelter of the trees seems very inviting at this point, or you could go the long way around and risk getting caught in the storm in the open as you make your way to town. The forest is supposed to have wild pokemon, but with the weather like this, most of them will probably be seeking shelter themselves. ljǔǝǜǢƎǑǝǚǝǠƫƐǔƞƟǒƟǒƐNjǡǖǓƕǡǑǝǛǗǜǕǡǖǓƕǡǑǝǛǗǜǕǡǖǓƕǡǑǝǛǗǜǕƎǁƶƳƕǁƎƱƽƻƷƼƵƎǀǃƼƎLJƽǃƎƷƲƷƽǂƏljƝǔǝǜǢNjƎLJǝǣƎǡǣǒǒǓǜǚǧƎǔǓǓǚƎǚǗǙǓƎǧǝǣƎǜǓǓǒƎǢǝƎǕǓǢƎǏǥǏǧƎǔǠǝǛƎǖǓǠǓƜƎƴƯǁǂƜØ

Chris stops and looks up at the sky and looks back at Moria. Without a word he lets out his Skiddo and mounts it, urging it into a sprint. "RUN! SHE'S COMING, RUN!" He yells to the others and steers Francine into the forest.

Callix's eyes trace the shape in the sky as lightning crashes nearby, and whatever expression was on his face previously is quickly replaced with a grave seriousness. Chris's sudden panic makes him nod his head in acknowledgement, confirming that his gut instinct was correct. It was time to go, now. There's a beat where he stands stalk still, illuminated by the nearby lightning strike, and as it fades, so too does his form shift in sparks into the form of the massive thunder beast that is Raikou. His head turns to Vivian, looking down at her from his increased height. "Climb on my back, it's the fastest." Then, he crouches as low as he can to allow her to climb up, calling out to Moira as well as he does so. "Moira, get over here and climb on, now!"

As Chris ran away atop his Skiddo, Moria looks around with confusion, ready to run after Chris before Callix calls out to her. She goes to grab Tilda's Pokeball from her bag on Tilda's back, but she changes her mind. "Let's go, Tilda!" She grabs Tilda's hand and runs to Callix. After helping Tilda get on, Moria easily leaps onto Callix's back.
Just then, Moria realized there was no more room left for Vivian. She hastily grabs the Pokeball from her bag and returns Tilda, keeping the bag in front of her as she moves forward. "Sorry Vivian."

As Moria turns back the second time, to look at Vivian, she's already transformed. The small creature bumps into her, not quite used to flying just yet.
Thunder is a scary thing, when you have a background like Vivian's. She remembers the experiments, the ones specifically done under the cover of clouds, using electric types only to draw in the storm. Giving life to things that shouldn't have it is old hat to her, but it's a different experience, to be the abomination instead. /Any kind of discharge will trip my safety measures. I'll go blind and my arm won't work,/ she reminds herself, ignorant to the fact she just psychically broadcasted the fact.

As soon as his riders are situated, possibly a bit before they're situated, Callix blasts forward in a burst of speed, sparks crackling around his feet in slight discharge. He tries to ignore the rogue thoughts in his head, focusing on how to run in this new form and on catching up to Chris. If he had a moment to think, he would probably by exhilarated by the speed, the rush, but this wasn't the time for emotions, it was a time for action, and currently that action was "running to not die" which had a far higher priority than base pleasure.

As the four heathens make their way into the woods, there is a fork in the road. A tree has fallen over the left path, making the right path the easier path to take. In addition, it's easy to see out of the forest from here, all the way back to Bond's laboratory here, but it's not quite as easy to see into this area from the outside. The group is presented with a choice. Do they keep running, or observe what's going to happen? In addition, do they try to vault over or go around the fallen tree, or take the open path?

Chris doesn't stop or hesitate steering Francine around the tree onto the right hand path, only sparing a moment's thought to mourn the ancient tree that had fallen. It was sad, but not enough to compare to the panic of what was about to happen... Whatever that actually was.

Moria heard Vivian say something about her arm, but there was something unnatural about how it was said. It almost felt like she spoke telepathically. Either way, it was rather unsettling. The wind rushing by as the human-turned-Raioku runs from the Bond laboratory blows Moria's now long green and black hair far behind her, almost definitely getting in Vivian's face. "Did you say anything, Vivian?"

"What!?" The hair would tickle Vivian's eyes closed... if they were regular eyes. It's too bad the speeds they're traveling at make it hard to hear anything, and that her ears aren't boosted to compensate. Perhaps something that she should consider, she thinks. "Can you see what's happening!?" She tries shouting, her voice now high-pitched. What a mess of a situation.

Callix sees Chris disappear ahead and makes a mental note of the path he takes. Poor guy was frightened like a scared buneary. He however was a bit more curious about what was about to happen at the laboratory, and slows down near the fallen tree, pausing a moment to turn his head and look back at the laboratory. Given his current speed, he should have no issue catching up with Chris and his Skiddo in the near future, not to mention the heavy lingering scent in the air that tickled at his nostrils.

As Chris leads his partner down the right path in a panic, they pass a number of trees before he notices an odd sight and his skiddo stops completely. Inside a hollowed out tree is a large number of Oddishes, and they look afraid. A particularly loud crash of thunder confirms this theory as all of them huddle together, closing their eyes. There's still enough room for you and your skiddo to squeeze in, as the oddishes are only taking up part of the large hollow. One of the oddishes actually tumbles out due to the movement of the other plant-pokemon underneath it, and rolls to stop near the feet of the Skiddo. It seems frozen there, too afraid of the powerful storm to retreat back to the safety of its friends.
As Callix stops, the trio still near the facility get a clear view of what's happening. A huge bolt of lightning strikes near the entrance of the Bond facility, and a large bird with extremely pointy hair lands near where the bolt struck. Another bolt of lightning strikes, cutting it off from view, and standing where the bird had landed is a tan-skinned woman. It's hard to tell any exact details from this distance, but you feel the spiked yellow hair might be a bit of a giveaway if you meet her again. Beyond that, from this distance you can tell she's wearing a black tank top and what appear to be camouflage patterned pants. You see her step into the building. For a few moments, nothing happens. Then...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" It is not a scream of anger, or a scream of panic, but one filled with loss. A sorrowful scream, one speaking of a lover left alone, a promised meeting that will never happen. As the scream resounds in your ears, an incredibly powerful clap of thunder sounds, and the building itself is thrown into the air, breaking apart into small pieces as it comes tumbling down. The woman sprints away, clutching something tightly to her chest, and with another flash of lightning she's gone.

As much as Chris' mind was screaming at him to keep running, he just couldn't bring himself to run contrary to his kind nature. With a glance back that might as well not have been a glance at all, he hopped off his Skiddo, scooped up the oddish and tried to scurry into the hiding place with the rest of the grassy pokemon. Maybe hiding could work as well as running. Christopher Cardinal made a Focus Check! | VjgX9v0Y2d6 |

From atop Callix's back, Moria stares unblinkingly at the scattered remains of the lab. "Was that a legendary?" She thinks back, trying to recall any electric bird legends. Wasn't Chris a fire bird? Maybe.... Her grip on Callix tightens. "Let's go find Chris. He didn't look too good when he fled."Moria Delienza made a Occult Ed Check! | 2I5UJoUm2d6 |

"I feel sick," Vivian says from her position behind Moria. And she does feel bad. Awful. Something gross and disgusting just washed over her, an empty feeling, that can't be taken back.
"I want to go," she mumbles, hoping leaving this place will put everything back how it was.

Callix quietly observes the scene before him. The great bird, landing in the fury of the storm. He could feel the charge in the atmosphere build and fluctuate at the bird's emotions. He could feel the rage in the current, feel the loss, feel the fury. He felt the final bolt before it struck, in awe of the power there. He watched it strike, watched her flee into the forest. He could respect her emotions, appreciate the power and feeling behind them, but it didn't change one fact. The events that transpired here almost certainly made her their enemy. They would have to be prepared.
Hearing the words of his companions, he nods, and begins to take off through the forest, following both Chris's path and his scent. He was starting to get a feel for his companions. Most interesting to him was Vivian's reaction. She had been acting cold and detached before this moment, but it seems something in that scene had broken that display. It would be interesting to see how she acted in the future. Chris was too volatile for him to truly judge at the moment. He was not one used to being pressured, and he was breaking. Besides that, there was also his insecurity. It would be interesting to see how his personality developed in the future. Moira seemed the most straightforward to him, seeming to be the most balanced personality of the four. She had maintained composure rather well, and seemed rather kind and caring. Hopefully she could be the center for the group.
