"So I should expect to have to babysit you then to avoid another kidnapping." Ovelia commented with a sigh, "So what did you say or do to make Maya want to marry you? Make some false promise to get in her pants?" Ovelia asked. Of course he had avoided answering why. She was probably right in her guess.
However at his comment about not involving her she raised an eyebrow, "I think it does involve me." She said with a frown, "Regardless of my opinions of you we are somehow in the same guild and the same team. When something happens to you it effects all of us." She said annoyed. "Your Maya issue didn't involve me, but rescuing you certainly did." She tapped her foot for a moment before adding, "So First Mate in jail then? That going to cause any more fights we should be ready for?"
She looked to the side and leaned back arms crossed after his remark of what happened after she went down , "Well of course you did. Not like I could have shielded you this time. Ugh, look I can craft armor and weapons and I have been getting better at it to point of mixing in magic and stuff. If it means I don't have to worry about saving you as much I guess I could maybe make you some or something." She said with a sigh. "Don't get the wrong idea, it's not like I care that much it just helps everyone else out if we don't have to worry." She quickly added.

After Ovelia walked away, Mael walked out of the Pot. He walked all the way into the city and then summoned his Murkrow. Without a word passing between the mage and his construct, the Murkrow flew into the city, scouring it for dropped change and lost money. After an hour it returned. vQ15Wcg31d10 x 21 = 63 Mael seemed happy with the gains and walked back into the Pot. He had already done his daily training, so he was done for the day. 1d10

Niyol held up his hand to ward off Oveila barrage. "Whoa, slow down Sparky. First off, thanks for the offer. I'm glad you deign to hammer out some gear to keep me from getting hurt." At this Niyol gave a good manner smile under the light sarcasm.
"Secondly, I'm not aware of what happened to the First Mate. I have passed out before her defeat. If there is trouble brewing there in the future I don't know." Niyol have his hand dismissively at the topic before leaning forward to give Oveila a stern look.
"As for Maya, what happened between her and I is really none of your damn business but since you seem so eager to peg me as some perverted scumbag- Which I admit the kiss, probably was inappropriate at the time. You have my apologies there. However, I don't go around trying to get every women I meet into my pants." Niyol sighs and leans back. "Maya and I were childhood 'friends'. I was nothing more than a brat at the time and Maya was the who said she'd marry me. I don't know why she wanted to marry me though. I guess.... Love is strange like that."

"You are currently in the guild and we have to watch out for each other. No offense, but it is our business when it comes up and causes problems." Ovelia said. "Though if she is that obsessed its not likely she'll just drop it here, so watch your back I guess. Don't go get kidnapped again." Ovelia said starting to get up. "Well, thanks for what you did answer at least."

With That Ovelia left for the day.
It was another day before the medic of the guild came back, and upon coming back she was quickly able to dispell the rest of the injuries that were held on the group.
The remaining day of theirs passed without much issue. Training and supplies bought the knights were easily able to prepare themselves for the events happening today.
The group of Knights from the Order of the youngest sage were to challenge their first Labyrinth.
As they stepped out of the lobby of the pot they saw two people standing outside waiting for them to exit.
One of them was Sans, he was smiling big and wide looking at the knights, and he motioned to the man standing next to him, "He was barely able to finish his training in time, but with Thane needing to get retrained your group needed one more member, wasn't sure If he was going to be able to come on this mission in all honesty."
"Though he was able to. so Introduce yourself, you'll be going along with them to the Labyrinth." Sans said, walking off back into the pot. Leaving the man standing next to him behind and a hole in the conversation.

The stranger whom Sans had somewhat lazily 'introduced' to the group easily dwarfed the Order leader - in fact, though Mael was about the same height, the man's sheer bulk made his presence seem to occupy much more space. Corded, heavily scarred muscle bulged out from a simple attire of animal skins, the style and ornamentation marking his likely origin from the tribes of the Savage Continent for those familiar with such things; an odd, spade-like polearm was strapped to his back. His one good eye regarded them calmly from beneath heavy brows; the other, somewhat yellow one was slightly swollen and stared straight ahead. All in all, he was perhaps the ugliest specimen of a human being any of them had ever encountered.
"Allo," he murmured quietly; his voice, while gravelly, was not particularly deep for such a large man. "I am Arden, of Magebreaker Clan." His words were enunciated carefully, and he spoke with a thick but not indecipherable accent. "Sans says we are 'team' now, yes?" Arden clasped his hands together in what looked like a salute of some kind and bowed his head slightly. "Is good to meet you." He fell silent, waiting for the four gathered to introduce themselves in turn.

Mael stared a little. He couldn't help it. Never before had he seen someone who looked quite so... ghoulish. The man in front of Mael looked like he'd seen his share of triumphs and defeats, and both had left their marks on him. Speaking of marks, there were the ornamental markings that looked a lot like tribal markings. Mael wondered if they had any meaning to them as he drank in the large man's appearance, absolutely fascinated, or perhaps horrified? It must have been a mix of both, especially where that bad eye was concerned. Then he caught himself staring and promptly stopped.
"Hello Arden, my name is Mael," the dark clad mage said. "Mael Caligo. Nice to meet you." He closed the distance between them and reached out with one hand, offering the man a handshake. Surely even someone from the Savage Continent knows what a handshake is right? Mael thought, unintentionally looking down on the man's heritage and culture somewhat.

Arden smiled broadly - a somewhat ghastly affair given his twisted visage, but the intent was there - and raised a meaty hand, though he stepped in closer and clasped Mael's forearm instead. "Good, good! I am very happy, to fight at your side. Is much better than fighting alone, yes?" Giving Mael's arm a single vigorous shake, he released the man and stepped back, looking to the other three expectantly.

Alex stared at the man intensely, as she could not fathom how one man could get so many scars and still be able to live to tell the tale. He must have been one heck of a survivor. Even still, she had to ask anyways. "Hi I'm Alex," she introduced, doing a little hand wave as she did. "How did you manage to get so many scars?"

Arden's enthusiasm dimmed, his smile flickering ever so slightly. "That is long story. Well," he corrected, "One very long story, many very short ones. I am sometimes not so careful in battle. But I am very tough! Many scars, but I still have all my fingers, see?" He held up a hand and waggled his gnarled digits. "Scars are not pretty, but make you stronger. Smarter too. Scars are good teachers. Hard to forget lessons." Arden's expression turned contemplative as he fell into silence again. He gave the impression that he didn't usually speak at such length.

Ovelia was slightly startled by the ugly man and took a small step backwards. She quickly realized the social faux pas and tried to pass it off as just shifting her balance.
As the others questioned she composed herself. The man seemed...weird, but going by looks wasn't fair. Given hearing he wasn't careful in battle made her want to rub her temple. Great, another Niyol.
"My name is Ovelia." The young woman said simply with a curt business nod. It would still be rude not to introduce herself to a teammate. Business was business after all.

Niyol took in Arden's appearance with a surprise raised of his eyebrow before a big grin occupies his mouth. It have been a while since he saw a man of Arden's level of ugliness but having been to the Burning Continent himself and had his fair share of ugly faces Niyol was only affected by the look of the tribesmen bad eye. Niyol step forward and salute the same way as the tribesmen before holding his hand out to give Arden a hearty handshake as well. "And I'm Niyol Eyvinder. I know what ye mean about scars. I look forward to exchanging lessons with ye at a later point. I'm not sure if Sans gave ye the full run down but we are currently setting out to train at a nearby labyrinth. Do ye have yer gear in order?"

Arden accepted Niyol's greeting warmly, but looked puzzled by the time the former pirate had finished talking. "Ghee-are..? Sans did not give me one. What is 'ghee-are?' Something to eat? Or beast to ride, if labyrinth is far and we must full run down?" After a moment of awkward silence, however, his face broke and he elbowed Niyol (a little roughly) with a wide grin. "Haha! Is joke! I am not fresh from Savage Continent. Yes, my gear is in 'order.'" He tapped a satchel at his belt, and adjusted the large spade he carried.
While Arden understood the gist of most turns of phrase, some word choices with multiple meanings still puzzled him at times. He was usually able to suss out the speaker's intent - he just didn't understand why whoever had invented this difficult tongue had made so many words mean more than one thing. His running theory was that they'd gotten lazy and run out of ideas halfway through, and started recycling words. Arden knew he certainly would've quickly grown bored with such a task.

It with that thought the group left on their way. It was a fairly far walk from the "Pot" to the place on the map where the labyrinth was located. The walk was quiet without running into anything worth of note. Seeing as the way they were going was leading them into the middle of the vast field lands that surrounded Teplas.
The location they found themselves in was an area in the grass land that had multiple trees and a small pond nearby. Clearly untouched by many people as the nature around them was quiet and calm.
As they looked around they saw their goal though. In the ground in the middle of the clearing was a single large stone. It was clearly carved, and had a slab that looked heavy enough to stop anyone without the aid of magic, or at least a couple people to lift.

Ovelia looked over the location. "Someone want to help me with the rock?" She asked moving near it to help lift.

Arden cracked his gnarled knuckles, stretching out his hands along with his senses to get a feel for the earth under the heavy slab. "Maybe is time to 'show off!' Or 'put on show?' Does not matter, whether show is on or off?" The ground rumbled slightly as he attempted to slide the stone aside. Let's see if Groundshaper can be of use here? If you need any Skill checks for this, go ahead and roll them for me, as this is my last chance to post before Sunday night at the earliest.

With the stomp of his foot, the stone moved swiftly to the side as Arden's magic sent it into the dirt. Opening up a hole with a stone ladder leading down.

"Well that's certainly easier than picking it up..." Ovelia commented as she watched the man's magic, glad to not have to try and pick up the heavy thing. Other than the new guy, most her party didn't seem the heavy lifting macho type in her opinion.

Leading the way down the group found their way into a large hallway. Looking down a couple meters they could tell not very much. The light spilling out from overhead. They were able to see the front of the temple in front of them. A deep deep chasim with a single ashen grey wood bridge connecting where they came down towards the labyrinth in front of them.

"I really don't like the looks of this..." Ovelia muttered as she raised a hand, "I assume nobody objects to better lighting?" She asked waiting for a response. Assuming nobody objected she would draw on her magic to create a glow from her hand.
