Lyn:
Arriving at the dorm, you only see Anna, and what you assume must be her Buizel. “Raina, you have to stop putting out the fire. I get it, but I’m gonna get cold.”
Raina simply burbles happily as Anna sighs, takes out a lighter, and re-lights the fire. Raina almost immediately launches a small jet of water at it.
“RAINA I SWEAR I’M GON-oh hi Lyn.”
Greg:
As you praise her, Maria happily wiggles her fins, burbling a bit. Once you sit down on the couch, Maria bounces over to Faron who coldly looks her over with a critical eye.
“Horsea...She’ll make a good sweeper. Not a bad specimen either...Could be switched in mid-battle after using an annoyer or status shuffler. Wouldn’t make a bad lead either.”
“Wow! How do you remember all that?!” Dakota asks excitedly.
“Admittedly, Pokemon strategy is not my forte. I simply studied the roles Pokemon can play and some different battling styles. It isn’t that hard.” Faron sounds a bit warmer in this statement than his last. Xander doesn’t look very impressed, but Dakota does.
“How does someone without former Pokemon skills get into this school, Faron?” Xander stares at Faron, and you can feel the tension both of their cold stares. “Tell me, did you even apply?”
“Of course. I follow all protocol.”
“That’s bullshit and you and I both know it.”
“Those who don’t want to see the truth never will. My skills can apply to Pokemon just as much as they apply to humans.”
“I see.” Xander concedes, getting up and walking off towards what must be his room.
“Hey Xander! Xander! What was that about!?” Dakota runs off towards Xander, clearly interested in what ever he was up to, leaving you alone with Faron.

"You do know that if she is causing problems you could always put her in her pokeball right?" Lyn commented as she looked around, "Is anybody else back?"

Vess & Trista:
Trista’s Pokeball strikes true, and it hits the ground with a thud. It shakes once, twice, three times, and then...It pings! From your bag, you feel a slight vibration as your Pokedex buzzes with a new notification. You caught a Castform!Species: Castform Gender: Male Level: 5 Nature: Brave Ability: Forecast Known Moves: Tackle, Amnesia Inheritance Moves: Level 20 | Ominous Wind | Level 30 | Reflect Type |
However you stat it, it has taken 6 damage, so please don’t forget to minus that from the current HP! You can give it a Skill Background as you like. You both barely notice it, but at some point, the Grimer on the wall slides down to the floor and it’s goo seems to harden a bit. When Citadel bravely charges forward, Smoochum simply jumps out of the way. At that point, Citadel had gained too much momentum to shift direction, so he just keep rolling. Smoochum seems to a be a bit angry about Porygon hurting it’s friend, though, as it moves to lick the Porygon. Porygon tries to move out of the way, but it wasn’t expecting to move straight into the fist of the Smoochum. Trista can tell the Smoochum was really putting all of it’s power into that one. While all of this happens, Vess’ Pokedex keeps rambling on. “Castform has four forms. It can change between it’s Normal Form, Sunny Form, Rainy Form, and Snowy Form depending on the weather. Its body is made of cells exactly like those of water molecules, causing its cellular structure to be altered by temperature and humidity. It uses this ability to protect its tiny body. Even though it is manmade, Castform is most commonly found in the mountains of Vinea, sometimes with an Ice Type variant, or in the forests of Fero. Castform can learn a variety of Ice, Water, Fire, and Normal type moves.”Grimer used Harden!Smoochum used Fake Out on Porygon for 27 Physical Damage!Porygon takes 15 Damage from Fake Out. Initiative:
- Smoochum
- Trista
- Porygon
- Vess
- Grimer
- Citadel
Grimer is now on the ground.

Vess gives a slight "Tch" as Citadel misses his target and gives him an expectant look . "Come around, Citadel." Citadel gives a little rev and attempts to push the pink thing that made a fool of him into the spikes once more. No one makes a fool of him twice! Vess uses Brutal Orders on Citadel, again!
Citadel will shift down and to the right one, and attempt to tackle that gosh darn Smoochum right into its annoying lips. gPwyyDT41d20 AC 4 1d8+17 Physical normal damage, and pushed! 1d20·1d8+17

Lyn:
Anna shrugs after sticking her tongue out at Raina. “But doesn’t that kind of ruin the point? If I’m going to have a Pokemon, it’s gonna be my best buddy! Raina doesn’t listen to me all the time, but that’s how friends work! I don’t want Raina to feel like I’m just using her, I want her to feel like she’s my friend.”
Anna gives Raina a friendly pat on the head, and lights the fire in the fireplace again. This time, Raina doesn’t put it out.
“Nope! Just me! Adora went to go sign up for the Swim Team, Elizabeth went somewhere with Vess, and Yuki...I don’t know where she went. She didn’t tell me. I wonder if she’s planning a secret party?” Anna explains, moving to sit down on the couch. Raina curls up next to her.

Gregory found Faron’s “advise” on Maria to be a bit tactless. To Gregory, Faron made it that Maria was an “it”, a thing to be used as opposed to a living being. It was a very mechanical sounding description that really put Gregory off. Of course, Gregory himself regularly fished and ate Pokemon just like Maria mere months ago, something that made said fished up Pokemon into “it”s, and that irony wasn’t lost on Gregory, but there was just something about the way Faron talked about Maria that just made Gregory feel off. It was like that boy didn’t respect his Pokemon, or see it as anything but a tool. Maybe that was just how Pokemon battling went, but if it was Greg was not going to like it. Although, he was mostly just confused about what Faron was talking about more than anything else, and besides, Xander was throwing a fit and that required more attention.
Gregory found himself sinking into his seat just a bit when Xander accused Faron of faking his way into the academy. In part because that was the very thing that Gregory had done and in part because the whole scene weirded out Gregory a bit. Why would Xander get so mad at the new boy like this? Faron seemed to know quite a bit about Pokemon, so why would he have faked his way in? Mostly, Gregory was just saddened by the whole scene; people in his dorms won’t getting along and that made him feel crappy.
With Dakota and Xander gone, Gregory thought to do a little damage control. “Yeah, umm, sorry about that. Really doesn't seem like the type to, umm, react like that. I think we’re all just a little nerved up with the whole new school thing, and that can get to people, you know.”
With the atmosphere not in total ruins, Gregory thought back to all those confusing terms Faron was saying about Maria, mostly having forgotten his initial thoughts on his words. “So, yeah, like, what were you saying about my Maria, exactly? I’ll admit, don’t really know all the necessities of Pokemon battling yet, but that’s why I’m here, right? To learn and stuff. And, you seem so knowledge on the stuff, figured you could teach me something or give me some recommendations.”

"Right...well I don't think putting a pokemon in their Pokeball 'defeats the point' but it's your pokemon so whatever you prefer. As long as the fire is lit and nobody is freezing doesn't bother me."
She sighed when she realized nobody was here. However, she was surprised about the comment regarding Elizabeth and Vess. Had they known each other before hand or was that just a really fast relationship? "Well I guess I can't blame Vess for wanting to sneak off somewhere with Elizabeth. She is kinda cute. Though if doing stuff like that probably should be more subtle so rumors don't spread." She chuckled.
"Any word on our unknown missing roommate yet? How long ago did Adora go to sign up for---" She suddenly stopped. "W-wait swim team? Like...so she is going to be in a swimsuit?" Lyn asked as her mind started to wander. She quickly snapped out of it when she remembered she had been middle of a conversation and someone was right there. Face flushing red with embarrassment she quickly covered the lower part of her face from her nose down and tried to change the subject. "Uhh right any idea when anyone back. Uhhh what clubs did you sign up for? Oh hey I think I'll ummm...what's in the fridge!" She said finding an excuse to turn around and evacuate the area in case her other subject changes didn't work.

After that last attack, the Porygon backs away before spending a moment analyzing the Smoochum's blow, taking the opportunity to change into a more resistant form. While her Pokemon didn't seem too harmed by that attack, that it would try so hard to hurt her Porygon made Trista upset. Since Vess clearly didn't want the pest, Trista charged up to it after her Porygon moved away, and delivered it a punch of her own in retaliation. Porygon Disengages and uses Conversion2, to convert to Steel type.

Alex took the tackle like a champ, which meant he only let out a SMALL yelp when a surprise Geodude slammed into him. He straightened himself, his feet having left skidmarks in the snow as two pokeballs leave his hands, one to hit the first Geodude, and the second to release Kabby.
"KABBY, USE SCRATCH!"

Zo:You recognize the Sneasel, probably because it’s a Dark type, but the bird...you have no idea about. As you hold up your hands, the Sneasel seems to sniff slightly, and gives you an appraising look. It doesn’t seem to be as concerned about you now, though. The bird tries to hop away, but not before it makes a scary face at the Sneasel, shadows covering it’s face. Sneasel doesn’t seem to care, and releases another brutal scratch on the Pokemon. The bird really doesn’t look good, and even has a few gashes on it’s tiny body. Starly used Astonish on Sneasel and misses! Sneasel used Scratch on Starly for some damage!
Zo increased Sneasel's disposition to Neutral!

Zo nods to the Sneasel and walks on, careful to avoid the hunting spot. It was brutal, but alas, that's the way nature is. Zo thinks, at least. He hasn't spend much time outside in the woods, to be fair. He continues for a while, planning on looping around soon enough for him to get back to the dorms before curfew. Vess & Trista:Trista’s punch hits the Smoochum in the face, and it falls back a bit. It must’ve hurt because you can see the skin swell a bit in the beginning stages of a bruise. Citadel tries to take this opportunity to push the Smoochum back into the spikes, but he once again has the same problem with momentum. Grimer, seeing it’s friend hurt, slides over to Citadel, and pounds on him with it’s goo fists. Citdel takes the hit, but not without getting covered in slime in the process. Smoochum, after getting it’s bearings, moves behind Trista, apparently not forgetting about the Castform. It takes out it’s tongue, giving the Porygon a big lick. The attack hits, but Porygon has molded his form to have synthetic spikes, so the Smoochum also has a face full of spikes. Grimer uses Pound on Citadel for 27 Physical Damage!Smoochum uses Lick on Porygon for 14 Physical Damage!Grimer held it’s turn until after Citadel. Citadel takes 12 Damage. Porygon takes 2 Damage. Alex:Your Pokeball hits and after a few shakes and suspenseful breath-holding, you can relax. It pings, confirming your capture, and you feel your Pokedex buzz with a new notification. You caught a Geodude!Species: Geodude Gender: Female Level: 6 Nature: Composed Ability: Levitate Known Moves: Mud Sport, Defense Curl, Tackle, Rock Polish, Block Inheritance Moves: Level 20 | Wide Guard | Level 30 | Rock Slide |
You can give it a Skill Background as you like. As Kabby is released, he immediately understands your command. His claws start flying, but it seems like he’s a bit too eager. Kabby misses, as the Geodude side-steps him. Geodude grumbles, and tackles Kabby, pushing him back to you. He hits you, and it feels like you're getting a rock hurled at your chest. Which is exactly what happened. Geodude 2 uses Tackle on Kabby for 19 Physical Damage!Kabby takes 2 Damage. Alex takes 1 Damage, unmitigated by defense from getting Kabby tackled into him. As Citadel misses again, Vess sighs. This was certainly going well. He must be a little bit too over excited about this whole thing for his own good. As he took the (relatively) strong hit from the Grimer, Vess shifted her focus. Perhaps this would be a good time for her to practice giving hits herself. After all, Trainer combat, while not common, certainly wasn't non-existent. Perhaps branching that way was in order. Citadel, in the meantime, wasn't too happy with the whole thing, and revved up for yet another hit. This stupid snow was making him slip all over the place! As the new foe approached him, he turned to it. Maybe he'd hit this one! Vess struggles the Grimer! 8IDuPygW1d20 AC 4 1d8+11 Normal Physical damage.

Feeling a bit remorseful about the blow to it's head, Trista doesn't try quite so hard to hurt the Smoochum for her next attack. It was still picking a fight with her Porygon, but she didn't know how much more the little thing could take. Said Porygon apparently didn't like how vengeful the Smoochum was, and tried to push the annoying Pokemon away with a Tackle. Trista uses Struggle on Smoochum. AC 4, m|UuiEKb1d20 DB4 (1d8+6+Attack), Physical Normal 1d8+11
Porygon uses Tackle on Smoochum. AC 2, 1d20 DB5 (1d8+8+Attack) 1d8+16, Physical Normal Pushes the target
Extra Critical Damage 1d8+8Taking her attention off the Smoochum, Trista tried to appraise the Grimer. While it was, admittedly, pretty gross, maybe she could find a use for the quiet puddle of sludge? Hoping to get Vess' attention, she asks, " Could you, umm... Just soften the Grimer up? I kind of want to catch him too, if that's okay?", then hastily adding, " Unless Citadel's having too much fun! Or... something...". 1d20·1d8+11·1d20·1d8+16·1d8+8

Alex let out a low whistle as he caught sight of the Geodude's stats. Those were... NICE. And some inheritance moves too! This one would be a force to be reckoned with. He just hoped she wasn't too upset with him. He figured that he may as well capture both. Might help them adjust to everything! Well, that, or he'd have one to trade to someone. Also important. He nodded, looking to Kabby. "Scratch again!" Oh the excitement of a level 5 battle. Scratch Accuracy OWQR9ong1d20 Damage 1d8 + 17

Zo:
Walking on a bit in the forest, you come to an area where it gets a bit more dense. As it gets darker and darker and you start to think about heading back, you come across two Pokemon playing in the snow. The first Pokemon looks like a grey pig on a spring with a pink ball on it’s head. The other is a small pink, humanoid...thing, with yellow “hair”. The pig spring Pokemon turns to you, and while bouncing, oinks. Just then, you have an odd feeling in your head. It feels like someone is mucking around in there. Then, you get a picture in your mind. It looks like a forest, much like those in Fero. Then, you see a picture of this forest, snow, and ice. Lastly, you see an image of a fire. You can roll Pokemon Education to recognize the Spoink and Smoochum with a DC of 5.

Greg:
“I don’t understand. I’m perfectly calm. There’s no need to feel so strongly about what is ultimately a bunch of classes.” As Faron says this, Maria hops back over to you, cuddling back up in your lap.
“Shouldn’t this be common knowledge at a school of this caliber? I suppose not.” He sighs. “A sweeper is a Pokemon, or a set of Pokemon that is intended to knock out opposing Pokemon in quick succession. An annoyer and status shuffler are meant to prevent the opposing team from progressing in their strategy by imposing Status Afflictions on the team and using status moves. A lead is a Pokemon that you begin a battle with. Understood?”
“I must admit, you don’t seem to know much about Pokemon, or strategy. Are you a coordinator? Or do you plan to enter the service industry as a nurse or a farmer? Even so, what skills got you here?”
Lyn:
“Stuff like what? I think they just went to the library with Trista.” Anna replies innocently as she scrolls through her Pokedex.
“I’m not sure who she is. Maybe she just didn’t show up? I don’t know why someone just wouldn’t show up, though…” She thought aloud.
At your comment about Adora in a swimsuit, Anna looks over quizzically. She doesn’t seem to understand why you’re so surprised. “What else would she be wearing? You can’t swim very well in normal clothes. Anyway, she said she’d be back soon.”
Going back to her Pokedex, she responds to your other questions. “I didn’t sign up for any clubs. I wanted to sign up for the Dinner Club, but I can only cook fish, and there isn’t a fishing club, so I couldn’t sign up for anything.”
