Anti-Jace seemed more surprised Jace was able to make the first attack between the two of them. His gaze was stolen by a beam of light coming from behind the unflinching Jace. Anti-Jace's ice knives expand to create a barrier, but the blast tears through the sheet of ice and tear into the future trainer.
As the light dissipates and your eyes readjust to the dampened Distortion World, you see Anti-Jace's body lie afloat. His breath shakes hazardly as he thinks about what options he could direct this battle to, but it was all in the hands of those three trainers. It never left once they set forth on this path. His powerless hands reach towards the shattering sky he looks upon.
"Are you 19 now, Jace? In two years, Ace contracts Koffing Lung from a challenger. The symptoms were visible until it was for too late to save him. If you can adjust our modern practices of pokrmon registration, you guys might be able to find the Weezing AND create a cure for other pokemon that may catch Koffing Lung."
I know... I know Ace wouldn't have wanted things to become like this. But bringing back Ace was the only way I could stand being 'myself', my friends, family, and titles could go away." Anti-Jace's voice wavers.
Aegislash steals the opportunity to strike at Tully while all have their attention diverted. That is until two figures drop down from the sky! Tatsumaki and Jeremiah descend upon Aegislash, binding the blade in a steal cloth to restrict his movements once more. "We took a bit long, that's our bad. Figuring out how to put these weird guys into themselves like a matryoshka doll was a process." Jeremiah chuckles as he throws the single masked man he carried at Jack and Kannon. "And tell them we were waiting for you to make a plan which resulted in a simpleminded entrance- He won a bet for who could take out most out them."

The distortion world is starting to deconstruct itself! The pocket universe can no longer sustain itself since there's no supply of anti-matter.
Jack mentions to the group this was made to trap the unruly inside here. This is no escape. That being said, those from the outside can enter with ease. With enough occult, focus, and perception, Sana should be able to tear a way back to the Pokemon League. But time is running out before everything crumbles.

While it wasn't a difficult guess for Jace to figure out that something happened to this alternate timeline's Ace, it didn't occur to Jace that something so simple was the cause. And in a way, the solution to the problem was simple as well. In telling Jace what could happen to Ace in the future, he essentially saved Ace's life. His copy didn't have to tell him any of this, but he did anyway.
Ace leapt up towards Jace, landing on his shoulder as the trainer floated towards the air towards his double. "It doesn't have to end here," Jace said. He extended his hand toward the doppelganger, his barriers completely shattered. "You wouldn't be the first to make a new life in this timeline." It wouldn't be the same. Couldn't be the same. But maybe this Jace could find redemption in this timeline.

Anti-Jace stares at his younger self's outreached hand. His eyes turn warm. "Thank you Jace, even though I'm welcomed here this is your life after all. I can't continue like I haven't made any mistakes."
As the two talk, Sana fumbles around with the griseous orb. Jack observes patiently. "Imagine the point of existence between the two worlds. It should be 'here' and the League entrance. If those conditions are met, we'll walk out of this."
Sparks fly on the outer edge as the two realities bend to Sana's will. A portal sprouts open hovering inches above the main platform. You see the pristine floor of the Pokemon League on the other side. "Ah you're a natural Ms. Hearts." Jack chuckles. He picks up the poison type Masked Man and takes steps toward the portal. His footsteps halt as Jack looks cautiously at the now shape shifting portal. With every passing second it bends, grows, and shrinks. "Ummm If you could focus a bit more on..." In an instant, the portal expands to a size larger than the platform itself and shrinks to normal in the same amount of time. A pause.
The platform rumbles and you see a line in the ground which the portal sliced through, causing the whole field to split in two. The tremors in the air get worse, time is running out. Make it to that portal.
Roll athletics or whichever skill you see fit to travel uphill as the platform is falling down

"That doesn't mean you can't continue at all."
Just as he said this, the ground beneath Jace shifted, the entire island being torn asunder by the newly opened portal. Without saying any more, he dropped down from the air, landing on the lower level of the now bisected island. Turning his telekinetic powers on his duplicate, he dragged the weakened Jace behind him, pulling him through the air on an invisible sled of force. Ace ran ahead, but waited at the portal for his friend to arrive. Jace shoved Anti-Jace through the portal before returning Lucario to his Pokeball. Ace followed suit, leaping through the gate. He watched everyone else escape first. He had promised himself that he'd be both the first to end the fight and the last to leave it.
Then he took out the Master Ball. The ball was incredibly light, its purple top marred by a crack running across it like a scar. Despite its literal weight, this thing was probably the single thing that weighed most heavily on Jace's shoulders. In a way, Jasmine was trapped with him, but really it was Jace who was shackled with the burden. As long as the Master Ball was in the world, they would never be safe. It would take one ignorant thief to snatch away the valuable ball and crack it open to see what was inside. That could never be allowed to happen.
And so, despite the fact that the creature inside of the ball was technically human, Jace made a choice. From here on, he wasn't going to be weighed down by Paradiso's agenda, or the weight of the world, or doubts about the past or future. He hurled the ball into the void, pushing it as far as he could with his telekinesis. Then he jumped through the portal, hopeful that he would never see the cursed thing ever again.

Tobias teasingly leads a furious Anti-Xander through the portal. Tatsumaki makes her way but a little voice halts her movements. She eyes the Boss, unconscious and none the wiser of what's going on. "We wouldn't want you to suffer this easily, right?", she scoops the Boss in her gust and throws him in the escape route. Jeremiah sweats buckets during his recollection that all masked man are accounted for, especially the sleeping beauty Grey Mask. With that mental math done, Jeremiah crashes through the portal.
One by one, those that were trapped escape the Distortion World. Seeing the luxury of the Pokemon League was an oasis to the eyes. You start breathing easy again as the biggest threat to the Nexus region has come to pass. The long journey is over with nearly all questions answered. It was hard to imagine so much has happened so much has happened in one location. Kannon is the first to jump to his feet. "You guys were great out there!! I was a goner until you five showed up." Kannon bows, bearing the small inconvenience of his aching sides. "On behalf of the entire league, you have my thanks."
Off in the distance where Jack chucked him through the portal, the poison Masked Man stumbles to his feet, unknowing that the impact knocked his mask off. For the first time you see the boy underneath grimace. His eyes remain empty and unfocused on the group, but feels their presence. Like a flash of thunder in your chest, you remember Roderick, who fought you under Jeremiah's gym/Paradiso Hideout! His fate was unknown since then, but Jack explains how he was put under the management of the Masked Med, who steal the will of strong elementalist. Sana was the final piece to the group as Glamourweavers are rare occurrences in the world. "The voices... stopped." He speaks with mustered strength before collapsing.
Nurse Joy calmly observes the phenomenon by her desk. For lack of experience of the occasion, she does not say anything until a few moments later. "Hello, and welcome to the Pokémon Center. We restore your tired Pokémon to full health. How can I help you today~?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two Weeks Later...
The top floor of the Pokemon League holds the final obstacle to trainers, the League Champion. Kannon stomps his feet and paws at his cast in irritation. Jace and Sana face each other in opposite ends while Anti-Jace and Tully watch on the sidelines. "I'm really gonna kill em for being late. Some elite four they are right?" The tension gnaws at their feet each moment a cloud overlaps the sun- seen through the skylight. The door slams open to expose the elite four, Vell, Luna, Kaysal, and Sumi barge in with yawns, half assed greetings, and distant gazes. Their bandages hold worse than Kannon's but they still have the strength to disregard Kannon's final wish as Champion.
"You sure about dropping your position like this Ka-" Luna tries to intervene one last time before Kannon interrupts her. "Yes, they've overcame more worthy challenges that I've never experienced. And they already proved themselves to be champion material. They saved the world for Arceus sake! I'll gladly oversee this final battle for the title of Nexus Champion. The gym leaders don't mind either!"
Jace, Sana, and Tully finally earned a chance to rest. They met by being tricked into doing a crime, they fought alongside Paradiso to defend the region against the turncoat members. At the same time challenging the gym leaders stationed around the lands. Eventually disbanding Paradiso themselves when they were influenced by their own power. You trainers have met so many people until now, some became their friends and some remain as enemies.
Kannon peeks behind his shoulder to view Tully, "You sure you don't want in on this?"

Tully smiles and nods. "If I wanted that kind of a spotlight... well, I'da never got into this whole mess in the first place. We all got our places we wanna be and, well, the less normal people lookin' at me, the better."
His smile falters and he gulps a little. "'Sides, they ain't the only ones who got an ultimate battle comin' up. I got my own... confrontation in the future," the face of his father - 'the old man', as Tully thinks of him - flashes through his mind and sends a shudder through him, "so lemme tell ya, watchin' these guys fight for the title? 'Sgonna be a nice li'l diversion." He leans back with a smile to watch."

"Fine by me, make the best of your time! I hope ya find what you've been seeking after all this." Kannon turns back and raises his free hand. The air makes way for it as if his hand reached the heavens. "The battle for Nexus Champion... BE-"
The door blows open. Tatsumaki, Jeremiah, Natasha, and Rime push a figure in the hall. Slamming the door and leaving her to the wolves.
Nurse Joy scrambles in with a box in tow. The wood, though artistically cut and polished the box shows its age with chipped sides and worn texture. It's clearly an antique. Joy beelines towards Sana's side, her heartbeat floods her body. The contextually 1000lb box that rests in her pruned hands is passed to the magical girl.
"Before my family became Nurses, our ancestors were originally Shrine Maidens. Women who carry the will of the divine and to speak for the gods. One overcame that role and went on to be the Nurse Joy you know today. She held a gift for you, centuries ago. 'Sana Hearts, the Moon-scented Occultist, if you insist on reaching your potential in this world then accept the majectics of what I offer'"
Inside lays a grimoire, never before seen in libraries revealing runes and spells unexplored in your time. Another item are a set of Pokémon hairpins. If you attach one to yourself and your Pokémon. They will experience power like never before(also a +6 to charm rolls).

Facing eye to eye is her greatest challenge and obstacle to being Nexus league champion - Jace. The two weeks of restless respite she got, Sana has planned for ways to tackle Jace's immensely strong choice of Pokemon.
The herald of Ruby is startled when Nurse Joy comes to her with an antique box. She makes a pained smile as she receives the grimoire and the hairpin. "Thank you, shrine maiden Joy." Will she ever use the power of grimoire in the future, only time will tell.
Tossing aside her cosplay witch hat, Sana ties her hair to a ponytail with the hairpin, passing one to the former queen of diamonds, standing next to her. She looks at Jace again, the Dragon in her heart weeds off her usual timid expression. "I thank you for accompanying me to the final stage. I am going to add an additional good memories to Ruby - becoming Nexus Champion, for my friends, Pokemon, and family."

Looking at Sana and Tully, Jace saw proof of what he had always believed: potential. The potential of everyone to surpass their perceived limits, to become someone greater. The three of them had evolved in a way. They could never go back to the way they once were. Given the choice, they wouldn't choose to.
For perhaps the last time as a challenger, Jace and his Eevee Ace took their bow. "It's been an honor fighting beside you. No matter what happens here, I will always treasure the adventure we had."
Jace smiled, a wisp of blue light crackling behind his eyes. "But I won't say that this is for my family, or even my friends. This fight, right here and now, is for me and my pokemon. Let it be the culmination of everything we've struggled against."
With that, Jace drew his first pokeball. "So ready yourself, Sana. Here we come!"

Kannon looks at both trainers in delight. "That's the spirit you two! Time to give it your all."www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nIaC6Vl4m8'Shrine Maiden Joy was right, their potential has yet to peak. These kids... talking like it's a decisive moment. If only they knew what comes after. I bet they'd be fine if they took the most direct path here, but that's usually not how things work out. Mistakes, hesitation, and detours haze their vision. Taking the time to clear it may seem a waste, but take a look back.' Kannon peeks behind his shoulder once more. 'The path you've treaded is riddled with so many incidents and distractions to and fro,' He sees the individual heads of Paradiso elites, Kuki, Yozora, Ika, Marietta, and Rime, fully engrossed in the battle hanging out the doorframe. 'The path is as wide as it can be.'"BEGIN" The heaven anchored hand, descends to open the curtain to the championship match. With such a kind and wide path, we shall never stop moving forwardFinal Chapter: Complete
