Ira bends over to whisper in Elise's ear. "Do you need me to distract this guy? Pretty sure I could draw his attention as well as any fire."

"Thanks, but he's pretty distracted already I don't think any more distraction is going to help. I'll call if I'm spotted." She whispered back to her brother. Before going forward and trying to find the switch, trying not to make too much noise.

Ty's camera pokes over Ira's shoulder, getting footage of the lab. "This is gonna make for some great video," he whispers as he focuses on the workbenches and the containers, making an effort to avoid catching Elise on film. Elise, for her part, is able to easily slip through with Daisy. The room is a lot bigger than you first thought; it must extend under the entirety of this extinct volcano. Both the wall containing the secret passage, and the one opposite, are almost entirely covered with glass containers, floor-to-ceiling, each with a varying number of terrified Spinda. Large robotic arms dangle from the ceiling, obviously to grab and manipulate the containers. To the right of the secret passage is the freight elevator, quietly sitting and awaiting use. To the left, further away, is your fat nemesis, standing with his back to the fire escape. He appears to be fiddling with the damaged drone. Nearby is a container, its glass reinforced with crisscrossing wire, labeled "Isolation Chamber." This one holds the psychic twins, and all their Pokemon except Metagross. A second Isolation Chamber holds what appears to be a large collection of Nio stuff. Between the Isolation Chambers is a control panel, and would you look at that! There's a red lever conveniently labeled "Mass Release" on it! Room Specifics Each glass chamber is about 3 meters long, two meters wide, and two meters high. They are stacked ten high in racks (putting the room's height at about 20 meters.) The room itself is forty meters long; 30 of them are taken up by the chambers; the rest hold supply closets, and in your case, a secret door. The room is 7 meters wide; built into one wall is the freight elevator, which is as long and wide as the chambers holding the Spinda (3m x 2m). The arms that dangle down are partially folded, meaning they only hang about 10m down. They can extend further, if you use the control panel. This is a freaking big room, in case you didn't guess. Also, I should have the combat map ready by Sunday. XP from last fight Since you may need it: Each of you gets 35xp from the last fight, divisible as you see fit. Kane gets 1 trainer XP for catching that Pawniard. Kane Kane is unaware of the Nio collection until he enters the room.

Kane overheard the big bully and stormed right into the room, choosing to ignore the twins and nio collection to instead smack the jerk over the head with whatever object he can find

Elise nods to Daisy to stay ready herself before hurrying in and pushing the mass release button.

As Kane storms into the room, Daisy flips the switch, and within moments the floor is covered in hordes of bumbling Spinda. Before he can reach the fat bully, Kane is caught in the pack of panicked Pokemon, only able to move with difficulty. Interestingly, the Mass Release switch didn't open the Isolation Chambers. The fat man, hearing the commotion, turns to witness the chaos, just before a mass of Spinda pens him in as well. "Well, well, well," he says in his usual condescending voice. "It would seem my secret lair has been discovered, and my prize Spinda collection has been released. By the amateur, no less. What do you have to say for yourself, plebeian?" The map is finished! The floor of the room is now covered in Spinda (which I didn't place because of bandwidth issues.) The entire floor is now Slow Terrain, and if you're willing to drop prone (or are smaller than a Spinda), it can become Rough Terrain as well. This also means that moves that hit over an area (like Fire Blast) will also hurt any Spinda caught in the area. However, there are enough Spinda that you can't simply blast them until the floor becomes clear. Unless Ren says otherwise, Elise and Daisy are considered to be hiding under the lab table.

It's a bit difficult to see the control panel through the furry horde; Ren and Daisy will need to slip closer to get a better view.

Elise takes Daisy and makes a run for it, hoping that his brother and the Spinda will make enough of a distraction so they can reach the panel in time before noticed. She comes out form under the table, jumps on the table and tries to use that to avoid having to deal with the Spinda bellow.

Ira steps out as well, staying silent. Not that he doesn't want to draw fire, as he fully intends to protect his siblings; he simply doesn't have the heart to step on Kane's moment. So, for the time being, he remains a silent presence.

As Elise's progress is stalled by the furry tide, fatso takes the Confuse Ray to the face. "Oh dear," he says. "I seem to have been hit with some kind of disorienting power. Much like Nio in the TV movie Shadow Oni Rising." So saying, he plucks four Pokeballs from his belt and unleashes their contents haphazardly. The first two are what you expected: Tangrowth and Tauros. The third is a Ditto popping up on the table and peering around with curiosity. The last one is a rotund Pokemon, roughly the size of a soccer ball, and covered head-to-toe in spikes that spark with power. It winds up in the midst of the Spinda, and is forced to hop up and down to see what's going on in the world above the dumbling Pokemon. Fatso points. "Now, my Pokemon. Go forth and show this little wannabe what a true Nio connoisseur looks like!" His Pokemon initially seem uncertain why he's giving orders to the wall, or why he's pointing at the elevator, but then their eyes alight on Kane. Tangrowth moves like it's cracking its leafy knuckles; though no sound comes out, the message is clear. Tauros snorts and lowers its head, kicking its foreleg in preparation for a charge through the Spinda. The rotund Pokemon just keeps hopping up and down, trying to see where Kane is. And Ditto just waves at Kane. Rotom floats over to Ira, whispering " That round Pokemon is called Togedemaru, and electric/steel type. It charges its electricity by letting itself be zapped by lightning. Its barbs a sharp, so be careful about punching it." Togedemaru may be jumping up and down, but it'll still be fairly tough to hit with all these Spinda milling about...

Ira nods as he releases Tank, who flaps up above the melee. "Careful about the bouncing ball - it's covered in electric needles!"

Tank nods at Ira's command, flapping to maintain altitude above the milling Spinda. As Kane's fire takes hold, the Tauros inhales and exhales rapidly, clearly building up energy- and then it gives Kane big baby eyes and wags it tails! This commands Kane's attention, to where he does not notice Togedemaru hop into the air while rolling like Sonic the Sandslash. At least, not until Togedemaru plows through the Spinda, sending them falling like bowling pins. Takumi is able to float up above the rolling Pokemon, but Kane takes a hit to the shin. Tauros hits Kane with Tail Whip, lowering his Defense by 1 stage. Togedemaru declares Rollout while shifting (as per the Pass keyword). It misses Takumi and hits Kane. Kane takes 29 damage, not counting for reduction. It is now Elise's turn. Elise Your path to the twins is now blocked by the Tangrowth. It seems focused on Kane, but who knows how long that will last.

"No choice." Elise jumps out over the next table and starts to sing a lullaby for Tangrowth.

Elise's singing reaches the ears of the Tangrowth, and it collapses into a heap of vines on the floor. It begins snoring softly. Ira and Kane can now move.

Ira looks over the scene, thinking quickly - depending on how things go, the biggest threats to his brother and sister were the Tauros and this Togedemaru - small as it was, it'd be difficult to damage and even more difficult to do so without getting hurt. Nodding to himself, he rushes over to the little ball Pokemon and towers over it. "Okay, little guy, you wanna use those little needles? How about trying 'em on me!" He narrows his eyes in a threatening squint. Ira Shift: Move next to Togedemaru Standard: Mean Look on Togedemaru Swift: Spend 1 AP to activate Roughneck, lowering Togedemaru's Attack by 1 CS.

Togedemaru is taken aback by Ira's hostility, but it forces a smile and gives the boy a little wave. It is now Kane's turn. Also, sorry for not posting for a while. It took a few days for me to dig out of the snow.
