"Su..sure," Lillian says, yawning in the middle of the word, and wandering over. The Pokémon Center, as usual, was empty of other people, save for a female Attendant on duty upstairs, who was busily cleaning all of the machines, keeping them looking good as new. Not that there was much else to do. Or anyone to care.
Braxton can already feel the heat of the day starting to pervade the building. Looks like today will be even hotter than yesterday. Joy. Maybe you can borrow come chill from that Attendant's Glaceon. She seemed to be enjoying it up there, at least. Hooray for Ice Types.

Braxton grinned at her. "Looking quite chipper today. Good to see Cyrus has already started playing for the team there!"He lowered his voice. "I want to strike today. Moreso, I think this needs to be done as soon as possible, before they get a chance to collate their members at their headquarters. If we can strike within the next few hours, we may be able to get the jump on them. Getting in might not be the easiest thing though... but we'll do our best. What do you say?"Braxton is going to look for anything that may provide either leverage or concentrated heat (like a blow torch) for the doors around the centre. He will ask around as necessary, but be very discreet.

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan," she says, still a little tiredly. "Might as well get *yawn* get hopping, then."
Nope, no blowtorches or anything like that around the center. However, in the back, along with a small, small, workbench for travelers to do DIY repairs, you do find a crowbar. Yippie. They probably won't mind if you borrow it. Right? Not like you're keeping it...

Braxton frowned, "Are you well? You have been yawning quite a bit this morning. Did you not sleep well? More important than catching them by surprise is ensuring that both of us is alert. If you need to, I can watch Cyrus for a bit and let you catch up on a few hours of rest. I have a few things I can do around town. I still need to get a bit of a better lay of the land." if Lillian stays to rest Braxton bid Lillian a good rest and beckoned Cyrus onto his shoulder. He went to the front desk and asked, "I am looking for a few places of interest. Maybe places that anybody who is still in town might go. Also, are any shops open?" if Lillian insists on still coming Braxton frowned, "Very well. However, please be aware that you're putting yourself in significant harm's way if you continue while badly rested." Braxton picked up the crowbar he found and took it to the front desk. "Good morning. I found this, and I have a need for it today. Would I be able to borrow it, and if there is a hire fee associated, what is it?"

"No, no, it's fine. I'll just grab myself a draught of coffee, or something. Besides, getting out and about is the best pick-me-up. I'll be right as rain in no time." She gives a smile, before heading off to see if there indeed was said coffee existing in the kitchen area.
At the front desk, the Attendant seems surprised that anyone is actually talking to her. "Pfft, go ahead. You see anyone else around here that might need to borrow it?" She shakes her head. "What is it with guys and your need to do your own work. Just take whatever doodad or project or whatever to a carpenter, or mechanic, or whatever." She just waves her hand. "Whatever. Doesn't matter to me, I still get paid. Just don't come back with it embedded in your side or anything. At least not until later, when I'm off shift."

Braxton bowed his head slightly, "Much appreciated. We will do our best to take care of it."
Braxton slid the crowbar into his bag and set on his way. He had Ruairidh and Blaire stay in their pokeballs to try and stay inconspicuous.
He headed down to the hideout and attempted a similar pass as the one yesterday, checking for any daytime guards or any other points of interest he may have missed.

It doesn't seem like there's any external lookouts around. Looking closely, it does seem like there's some light coming from some of the windows, so someone's probably home. Or they're just electricity wasters. Heinous.

Braxton approaches the welded door and the store door, assessing which would be the easiest and quietest to break in through.

It looks (to your untrained eye, at least) like the welded door is probably the best bet. It's sloppily done, at best. Probably by someone who knows as much about welding as you. So, if you break the three or four areas where the metal actually melted together properly, it'd be pretty easy to enter. Although, Ruairidh could probably force it open quieter than that crowbar...

Braxton looked carefully at the doors. He decided to opt for the welded door. Analysing it, he released Ruairidh, knowing that there would likely be something he could do to help. "Right Ruairidh, we need to try and get this door open. I need you to focus on these four points and see what you can do. Focus." Focussed Training Ruairidh concentrated and began moving about in a similar fashion to how he had when taking on the Snakebites the first time, bringing his aura focus to its peak until the backs of his hands began to glow softly. Swords Dance He approached the door and attempted to channel his aura to break through the welded metal. Not great rolls haha
on 1d20 rolled an 8
on 6d6 got 1, 1, 3, 3, 2, 3
Note that focussed orders could potentially get +2?

Well, it isn't exactly the most quiet thing in the world, getting the metal plate off by breaking the welds, but it isn't the nosiest, either. At least Ruairidh catches it before it clangs to the ground. "Well, then. Huh. That's using the old noggin," Lillian says, approvingly. "Was wondering what you were planning to do when we came about here."
Behind the metal plate is a door made of what looks like a much stronger metal, but it looks as if the lock's rusted beyond repair. Maybe it's open?

Braxton looked back to Lillian, and in a hushed voice said, "Right, let's be very quiet from here on out. We want to try and catch them off guard, and that was loud enough as it is.
Nice work Ruairidh. Stay sharp."
Braxton quietly approached the door and tried to ease it open a crack to see what was to be seen on the other side. There would be a battle today, but if there were only 12 of them, it might be easier to take out a few of them at a time while avoiding a full on combat against the whole lot.

The first thing you notice is that immediate corridor past the door is dark, with only the light from outside coming in, but it looks like there's a door at the other end, with light coming out from under the crack.
The second thing that hits you is the smell. Yuck. It's faint, especially with the outside air, but it's there. Apparently they probably have no word for "cleanliness" or "hygiene" in here.
"See anything in there?" Lilian whispers.

"Not much. It's very dark in there, but it definitely has an aroma.
There is a door at the other side of the room, and there might be somebody on the other side based on the light. Keep an eye out for any movement."Braxton began moving forward quietly, holding out a hand to Lillian to ensure they didn't get separated. Ruairidh stuck to his left side, ears perked up and head darting around for movement. He approached the door from the side so as not to cast a shadow under the crack of the door and placed an ear against the door while Ruairidh lowered himself to the floor to see for any movement or shifting of light under the door. Braxton Perception: 17 Ruairidh Perception: 12
Braxton Stealth: 6 (perfect roll though) Ruairidh Stealth: 16

"Ugh, you're right. Is this a warehouse, or a dumpster?" she asks, wrinkling her nose, and grabbing his proffered hand.
Neither of you see or hear anything or anyone. Either the coast is clear, or they know you're coming. Hopefully it's the first one.

Braxton, gestured to Ruairidh to scope out the room, searching for any other doors or items of interest that might be present. Ruairidh silently began moving around the room to search. When he was finished, Braxton pointed towards the still-open door leading outside. Ruairidh walked over and pushed it shut. Being plunged into darkness, Braxton waited until he felt the touch of Ruairidh's paw on his shin. Feeling this, he quietly pushed the new door open a crack to see what he could see inside. if the coast is clear, he will enter the room and have Ruairidh inspect the room as with this one

The "room" isn't really a room at all, just a corridor leading from one door to the next, empty of supplies. At least it's slightly cooler than outside.
Beyond the door leading to the inside is a lit corridor, leading off to the left and right. From what you can see, it looks like the left one leads to a stairwell, while the right one just goes around a corner. So far, thank goodness, you appear to have not been noticed. The smell is stronger, though. It almost seems tantalizing and yet repulsive at the same time. Probably depends on the age of whatever's making the smell in the first place. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to be in this hallway, as it's free of most debris.

Braxton, staying ever quiet, kept his hand out for Lillian as a point of reference in case things went sour and one of them needed to grab the other.
He gestured to the right, preferring that, if they were to flee, they would not have to ascend or descend any stairs which might hinder their leaving, plus if they happen upon any windows they would be at ground level.
He poked his head around the corner to assess the situation before continuing himself.

There's an open door ahead, but there's no one inside the room through it. It looks like it's been repurposed as a kitchen. Mainly due to the pile of dishes that have piled up, and the portable stove and fridge. And lots of cupboards. Looks like there's someone home, though, as there's what looks like packages of spaghetti, and cans of ready-made sauce out on a "counter" (which is more like a couple metal crates with a plastic sheet on top). Odd breakfast/brunch choice, but, eh, to each their own?

Braxton led the group through the kitchen and continued his ritual of listening at each door, making sure to not touch anything he saw in this shabby establishment.
Rogues and vagrants will live like slime it would appear.
He checked each to see if they were locked before continuing to the door ahead and cracking it open.
