"Well I'm going too, I need to pick up... well pretty much everything!" With the numbers swapped she makes for the door and the marketplace. Really did forget to buy... anything. So she'll be looking to see if the shops have: Sleeping Bag - 1000 Waterproof Flashlight - 600 Water Filter - 500 2x Bandage - 600 2x Revive - 600 4x Potion - 800 6x Ultra Ball - 4800

"Hmmm, yes that would be efficient," Shoko quips as she presses a few buttons on her poketch to send her information to Karla and the others. "I'm one for getting work done. So since something is close by, I want to go there and get that done. But it's all the same to me so long as I find more shards to play with." Shoko shrugs and pushes a few more buttons on her poketch. "I'm gonna be outside, someone message me when we're all ready to leave."
Shoko quietly steps outside not taking notice of any responses to her statement as she continued pressing buttons on her poketch. Ah finally... dowsing time. I know I saw some sand somewhere around here...
Shoko spends 20 minutes looking around the sand occasionally asking Mirk for a bit of help clearing away some rocks and sand. She hoards up the 15 shards she was able to find and begins to stuff them into her lab coat. I think I'll keep... these three for me. The rest of you will make really items though. As Shoko walks back, she finds a nice resting place to sit while she waits for the others to inform her of the departure time.
While waiting near the pokemart, hoping to spot the others, she begins to juggle a few shards as she sat on the nice grass. She turns to her trusty partner, Mirk who is currently rummaging through her backpack. "Scalpel," Shoko calls out sticking out a hand behind her while pretending to operate on the shards. Mirk lets out a small groan indicating that he's heard that joke too many times by now. Shoko was no stranger to shard manipulation, a feat which was surprisingly flexible. Whereas she had once created a moonstone by placing shards in a blender and then applying copious amounts of pressure with her hands, this time she opted for the more orthodox method.
She grabbed six shards from her stash and placed them on the floor in front of her. As she waved a hand over them, the shards slowly began to vibrate. A picture formed in her head in the shape of a bracelet followed by a silhouette wearing the bracelet and moving faster. The six shards began vibrating harder then darted towards each other and fused causing a mild purple light as they twisted together to form the bracelet she had imagined. She placed the bracelet on her right hand and quickly moved on to the next six shards.
She set them down in a different arrangement this time and imagined a small gem that, when placed on a pokemon, would create chains around their heads, similar to a headband. The pokemon silhouette displayed a fiercer flamethrower than before. As before the shards collided and Shoko was left with a small purple gemstone.
She called out her other partner, Tilda the Vivillon and immediately pressed the gem onto her head, giving her no time to react. In her typical uninterested voice Shoko explained, "It's a present." The gem created small chains around Tilda's head giving it a hybrid look of a tiara and headband. Tilda rolled her eyes in annoyance due to being poked in the head so suddenly. After a quick glance around and a shake of her head, Tilda fluttered towards her pokeball on the ground. With an audible yawn only momentarily stopping her, Tilda reached forward and pushed the button to recall herself into the pokeball.
Not even a thank you. That's what I get for waking her up I guess. Barely able to finish that thought, Shoko suddenly felt copious amounts of pressure around her. "Mirk, too hard," she gasped realizing she had lost track of him. "I know I know, I'll make you something next time and yes, you can keep hugging me for now to make up for it. But try to let me breathe this time." Mirk let out a happy cry as it went back to coiling around Shoko. He mostly disappeared within her coat apart from his tail sticking behind Shoko and it's head sticking out next to Shoko's head. Mirk was quite ready to have fun with his second favorite past time: pretending to be shoko's second head.
"Mirk, let's go see if we can spot them."

Axel stayed quiet for most of the following proceedings, merely listening to what his new team had to say (some of them more than others - he could tell Horace's antics were going to be a huge test of his patience and tolerance over the coming weeks). At the request for exchanging phone numbers Axel produced one of his business cards for each of his travelling companions. He also declined Horace's offer of a loan for shopping purposes - a good hunter was always well-prepared after all.
With no need to do any shopping and nothing else to do until the others got back to him and Shoko, Axel released Bayonet from her Pokéball and started on an impromptu session of training with her and Gauss.

Horace tries to puchase: 2x Revive (300 each) Super Potion (380) After Horace finishes shopping at the market he looks around to see if the respective members of his group are ready to head off. If it seems like they are not ready Horace will inform Karla he is heading outside to train with his pokemon. Looking at his belt he thinks about letting Romeo out in order to train. Even though as time has gone on, Horace has gained more control over Romeo, he still fears Romeo's unpredictability and tendency to cause destruction. Eventually Horace decides to give it a try and goes to the center of the largest area of sand and begins to train both Romeo and Gulliver. Neither Romeo or Gulliver are particularly easy to train as Gulliver often goofs off and tries to trip, tickle, or scare Horace after going invisible while Romeo's aggressive nature is still heavily ingrained within him and he often tries to float towards the forest or town to set them on fire before Horace, yells "No! I've told you to stop with that! How am I supposed to let you out if you just want to destroy everything in site!" or returns him to his pokeball. Gulliver is treated with a much more calm, "Get back in line you chuckle head... We both know we can't be slacking just in case we are in some real danger again."
After a while Horace is tired out trying to keep both of his unruly pokemon in line and lets out a sigh, "I guess that's enough training for the day. You both did well other than your antics. Romeo... I really need you to relax if I'm ever going to be able to trust you in a situation where we need to fight. I can't trust you if you try to burn everything in sight... including me sometimes. Well at least you are getting better."Horace returns to Karla singed and scratched up although none of it is anywhere close to serious and chuckles to himself. "That went better then expected. Normally I have to purchase a new pair of clothes after a normal training session with Romeo. Oh well I'm ready to head out now so I'll wait here with you until the rest are ready. If Horace has enough time he applies experience and focused training to both Gulliver and Romeo.

As the five of you gather at your meeting spot an hour later, someone calls out to you. When you turn you see a brunette girl with a camera around her neck and a Breloom walking along behind her. "Hey guys! Smile." She says cheerfully, snapping a picture of your group. "I'm Imogen, part of one of the other teams. We were planning to head out to iron Island and my teammates are arguing over how we'll get there. I got bored so I figured I'll just come and see if we had any competition for the reward. So where are you guys going?"

"Everywhere," Shoko casually walks past the disturbance, immediately turning to the rest, "come. We have work to do." Mirk's opportunity presented itself immediately as it turned to the side and mouthed Shoko's previous line, "I saw that Mirk; no snack tonight." Mirk immediately began to plead, though Shoko paid little mind to the noises at her side. "We can chat up all of the people you want for information wherever we go... but we have no time to waste with people here. We have a job to do."

When the girl is about to take a picture both Horace and Gulliver quickly try to make the most awkward faces they can in order to make the photo more interesting to them. "Make sure you send me a copy of that photo some time", Horace says with a chuckle.
Horace, distrusting almost everybody that aren't being paid to work with him, hears the girl's question about where they are going and states confidently, "Well were were thinking about heading to the area around Pastoria. I've personally heard rumors that there are some quite terrible mutations going on in that area. Good luck with your efforts at Iron Island and if you need anything call me" Horace then offers the girl his number.
At this time Horace waits for the Brunette to leave and then tells Gulliver to follow the girl, stay out of sight, and tell him any juicy information that he gets from her.

Axel grimaced at having had his picture taken without even being asked first but at least the young girl had the decency not to use the flash and blind them all. Despite his serious nature, the antics of Mirk got a chuckle out of the hunter at least.
"Ms Imogen, we know about as much as yourself given we listened to the same talk and had access to the same information from Rowan's research assistants. I can however say our plans as fluid as they are do not involve Iron Island so feel free to pursue the lead without having to worry about us. Good day and good luck to your team."

Grace nods her head in her willingness to have her photo taken. Feeling a silly mood herself, Grace drops down into a fighting stance, and Anubis does the same pose for the camera. Now out of her traier's arms, Eve lands on her feet, plops her rear down, wraps her tail around her legs, and looks at the camera with a thin smile on the vaporeon's face. Once the picture was taken, Grace walks over to take a look at how the picture came out.
"Just like Horace over there, send me a picture of that two once it's done." Leaning towards the photographer, she whispers,"Pardon my teammate's rudeness, I don't know what's come over them." Leaning back, and returning to a normal speaking volume, "Hey, we're working towards the same goal of discovery and prevention right? So I'm curious to see if you manage to find anything out there." Grace states while pulling out her pokenav. "Do you wanna keep in contact? I'd be cool to hear how another team is doing."

Karla's model instincts take over and she gets into one of her famous poses... somewhat ruined by the winter clothing. Still, it puts a smile on her face to slip back into these ways. "I usually charge for that, but since we're all working for the same goal I'll let it slide this time." She says with a wink. She's a bit put off though by her teammates gruffness... hopefully she won't draw their ire as easily as a photograph had, or this would be a diffcult journey.

Shoko continued to walk away from this distraction and set her sights on finding the quickest way to seagarden city. From what she could remember, she would need to begin by going south of Sandgem. With that in mind, she waited for the group to get their priorities straight and began to travel south.
We can't know what other teams might try, so we'll have to treat them all as potential hostiles for now, Shoko thought to herself before exclaiming, "It's important to not divulge information to other teams, especially those who seem interested in us as 'competition' while talking about rewards for said competition. You never know when small things we mention can end up being used against us. That aside, I'm not exactly rushing to get to SeaGarden, so if any of you want to stop to talk to any non-teams to get info or whatever.... be my guest."
Shoko paused momentarily, realizing that she hadn't even checked if her team was following her still and turned back to see where they were.

Imogen is clearly surprised by Shoko's hostility but happily enters Horace's and Grace's information into her Poketch before looking up with a quizzical look. "Why would you be heading to Pastoria? Crasher Wake isn't letting anyone into the Great Marsh until the Ekans leave their seasonal frenzy and it's the only spot near there that fragments have been spotted." She smiles appreciatively at Karla and nods to Axel. "Great to hear, and good luck with wherever you're going guys!" She says before leaving.
As Shoko turns back to her team she spots a ferry pulling into the Sandgem Docks.

Horace turns his head at the oncoming ferry, excited at the task ahead "Well off we go, ahh the thrill of adventure... its been a long time"Once Horace approaches the boat noticing his fatal mistake: not thinking that he was going to take the ferry he spent almost all of his money at the pokemart. Horace quickly pulls himself together and approaches the people selling ferry tickets, " Hello, my name is Horace Wellington and I am currently working for Dispattern Industries. I am currently a little short on cash as I didn't plan on taking the ferry till very recently but I am sure if you let me off on the fee this one time Dispattern will happily repay you for my research. If need be I can help by working on the boat as well. What do you say?"
If denied Horace will offer a super potion as collateral

"Mirk, my back."
"Ah yeah, Mirk right there.... nono a bit lower now. Ahhhh..." Shoko was feeling somewhat more relieved and was quite thankful that Mirk was willing to act as her back scratcher in exchange for being allowed to wrap around her.
Shoko contemplates for a moment before deciding that the boat would be a good idea. Spotting horace walking ahead of her, Shoko followed behind him as he approached the ticket sellers. "Let's take the boat, we don't exactly have too much of a choice, I believe, " Shoko muttered to Mirk. Having heard Horace's request to the ticket sellers, she was hopeful that it would work since it would save their group a decent amount of money as a whole. In general, Shoko was looking forward to being able to relax for the small amount of time that it would take to reach SeaGarden.

Seeing that two of the team members already getting on the boat, Grace decides a nice ride would be pretty fun, and most likely the fastest way over to their destination. Heading on over to the ticket booth herself, grace will grimace slightly at the price and the fact Horace was claiming to be strapped on money, even though he offered a loan when co-workers were going around getting last minute supplies. Either way, Grace will pay up the 500 poke fee and receive her ticket. She won't look for anything specific, or do much beyond training Eve and Anubis. The later is more sparing matches on deck, and Aura Reader training.

Karla joins the others looking to board the boat. Hearing the price she asks "Is that one way or return?" Between them all they should be able to afford 6 tickets, but if that would leave them stranded was another matter... she didn't know how often they'd be getting payed. For now she waits to hear the answer to hers and Horace's questions.

As the five of you are a group and your trainer id's are now listed as affiliates of Dispatern Industries and Professor Rowan, you get a one way group ticket for 1200P. The trip itself is quiet. The ferry has several areas you could pass the trip in: - The front viewing deck: Gives a head on view of the ferry's progress.
- The top deck: Gives a beautiful view of the sky along with a decent view of pretty much everywhere else.
- The rear viewing deck: Lets you see the ship's wake and where you've been.
- The interior lounge: Full of passengers who don't want to pass the trip in the wind and spray.
Tell me where you're spending the trip and roll perception.

As they started to board it was with immense embarrassment that Axel discovered a small flaw in his preparatory management. While he was well stocked with all the necessary gear thanks to his Dispatern advance pay, in his haste he'd neglected to hold anything back for additional funds, meaning he couldn't even contribute a single pokécent.
"Balls." Axel muttered under his breath.
"I um... appear to have spent everything prior to the meeting." Axel confessed. "I don't suppose anyone wants to make a trade in exchange for fronting my share of the ticket?"
Axel held up a bag of bait, one of the few items he had worth his share of the ticket in hopes his new team wouldn't leave him high and dry on the shoreline.

Horace immediately goes to the interior deck to the lower deck to play practical jokes on the people there as he feels they should have some fun. He unscrews salt caps, has Gulliver tie shoelaces together, Heckling the news station on by over reacting to every new piece of information, taps random people on their shoulders, and just causes general chaos. After that he goes to the Rear viewing deck and then the top deck to do similar things (stopping if anything especially odd or is seen or he gets into the news broadcast). Gulliver is his main wingman in this chaos with his invisibility capabilities and general silly behavior.

"I could use that. Here," Shoko handed the ticket vendor 500. "Come, I've things to fish up. I will find supplies. Meet me in the front deck," Shoko ordered AK as she waited for the rest of her group to pitch in. Once everyone paid, Shoko immediately boarded and began searching the ship for some fishing rods. After a few minutes searching she managed to find a good rod and an old rod placed in a container for passengers to use. "Excellent, these will suffice. Now where is AK..."
