"No," Zee responded to Hatui as she scooped the Azurill up once again. "Let's stick together. I hear it too. Maybe it's the way out?" she suggested, perhaps a little too optimistically. Even if the Azurill was going to be too stubborn to get into a Pokeball, it was at least getting along with Legato and Lillette well enough. Maybe the two of them could convince the Azurill that it was okay to be inside of a Pokeball, but Zee couldn't concern herself with that now.
She stood up straight and gave her leg one last look. It looked like the bleeding was slowing down, so she wasn't going to waste any more of the party's time healing up. Besides, she supposed that the other members of the party would look out for her. Probably. "Let's get moving. I don't think there's any sense in staying here, and there's only one way forward."

Baraz watched as Zee handled the Pokemon quite well, he was quite glad that it had stopped. If she wanted to try and tame it that was up to her, it didn't seem extremely useful to him. It was even showing signs of being unruly, which could turn out to be a thorn in Zee's side eventually but that was up to her. He just hoped it didn't get into a lot of trouble just walking around. It would be better if he just let the others make their own decisions though. When the others brought up the sound of wind Baraz thought about it for the first time, that could mean an exit. A man could hope even if he didn't think it would be that easy. Although that crazy cart ride might explain why the others didn't come back this way.
"I don't think splitting the group up right now is a good idea either, let's go see what's going on together. Come Fritz, it would be best if you lead the way."
Baraz motioned for his Pokemon to take the lead before him.

With the bulkier Pokemon leading the way, our heroes begin their journey through the glowing passageway. Following the trend of the early bit you'd already seen, the cave winds back and forth erratically, and its width fluctuates considerably. As you press on, the tiny crystal shards in the walls slowly increase in size. That could mean you're going the right direction, it could mean you are advancing towards imminent doom, but you have no way of knowing, and it's not like there was another path.
The calm breeze blows gently through the cave, wrapping around stalagmites, and rustling your hair. It seems almost playful, particularly for wind. Occasionally it will increase in strength, making it very difficult for Zee to get a good drawing of the changes in the crystals, or causing a splash of water from a puddle to spray Moai, much to the Rock Pokemon's annoyance. The gusts offer no true resistance however, and the party is able to make their way through the rocky corridors easily. There don't even seem to be any other Pokemon in the caves. Apparently the seven you've seen already were the exception, and not the rule.
Perception checks, everyone!

With the Azurill in her arms and her leg starting to feel better--or, that's what Zee told herself--Zee followed along with the rest of the troupe, ending up smack-dab in the middle of it all with Lillette waddling along beside her. So far, it didn't seem like there were that many more Pokemon, and it was more or less impossible to get a drawing with the Azurill in her arms, not to mention the wind. At least it was helping dry her off some, with the bun tucked against her head soggy and flopping against her neck sadly as it took its sweet time drying. Zee was surprised to see how much water there was in these caves, and she was honestly a little comforted. While Moai would have a bad time against Water-types, Legato and Mezzo were more than prepared to take them out, perhaps singlehandedly. Not one for making conversation, Zee continued to observe the caves for her eventual final drawing later. Zee rolls Perception!

Now that they were in a better order, Mezzo felt much better about their safety. The pokemon in the lead were tough, which was made even more obvious by their lack of injuries. Legato, on the other hand, was not so fortunate. The Shinx was limping a bit, favoring one side. Mezzo felt bad, but there was nothing for it at this point. Better to get out of this cave and onto the other side than to stay and get eaten by wild pokemon. Mezzo was keeping an eye out in the back of the group. He would make sure nothing sneaked up on them. Legato in particular was on high alert. Mezzo's Perception: 6KnjG|Uq2d6

Hatui nodded. He didn't think it was a good idea to scout ahead either, but he was willing to risk it. Instead, they formed a marching order with Moai and Hatui toward the front. Indeed, the people and Pokemon were a bit sturdier and less injured than those in the back, so it really was for the best. Yet, as they walked deeper and deeper into the cave they ran into no pokemon. It was a bit surprising really, and it was also unsettling. Surely something would pop out of some crevice at any moment? Hatui remained on his guard, ready for anything. The wind was also peculiar: where was it coming from? It splashed Moai with water from nearby puddles. He was used to seafoam spray, but this was fresh water and thus a different and annoying experience for him. The tunnel just seemed to lead on and Hatui continued to keep up his guard.

Baraz, having not been hit in the last fight, was actually quite chipper. There didn't seem to be any more hostiles, there was a brisk wind moving through the cavern, everything seemed to be going well. Now he just had to wait until everything came crashing down. He decided that he'd better keep vigilant. Baraz's Perception 1GVS21zR2d6

Your walk continues without incident. You wonder how the miners who first discovered these caves could have been chased away, when not a single Pokemon appears to block your path. Perhaps things have changed in the many intervening years. Regardless, it seems fortune protects you and your injured compatriots.
The cave continues on its winding path for uncounted minutes, the only sounds your footsteps, the dripping of water, and the ever-present breeze. When you are just beginning to wonder if you'd be stuck under millions of tons of rock for the rest of your lives though, the cave changes.
You have entered The Twilight Forest.
