Yeah, no need to RP that, I think. It can be a little timeskip for sure. I just wanted to give you guys some chance to interact and do your stuff.
I'm gonna a post now with a little summary of training and what lies ahead of you.

Post is done, you can now decide how you're gonna travel. As a side note, I include a small link to homebrew rules we'll be using to the stickied post. They are all very small and don't change basically anything about the game. They include the rules for traveling, how you get your weekly "salary" and a small adaptation on berries that I enjoy. Here's the quick link. If you have any questions or disagree with anything, just say so! This is a group game and everybody has an equal say, ok? EDIT: Also, I added a "Distribution" tab to the pokédex. Now, if you find a pokémon and scan it, you can see where it usually lives so you can go and get one =)

Nice work on the setting related stuff. I like how the reward structure especially. Also, amazing touch on the blinking area in the distribution tab.

Oh, yeah, that's pretty neat! We should get 8 Exp from experience training (since half of current level plus 5), but remember that Baby Food boosts that by 20% so we get... 9.6 which rounds down to 9.

Almost a whole level just by experience training. Nice!
Now all you need is a quick fight and your pokémon will be ready to level up. Yay!

Keep in mind that's based on command so Erica for example, gets no bonus.

Experience training doesn't require the pokémon to be yours. Like I said in the post, Dean has Novice Command. He could train 3 pokémon this time, which include yours. Especially since he is teaching you, guys, how to train pokémon.
So, at least this time, you each get 9 XP.
Also, I'm putting up a thread now for rolls. It makes it easier.

Each pokémon can only be trained once a day. Either Erica trains it, or Dean does, you see?
Going with Dean gets you 9 XP, while going with Erica gets you 4. I'd go with Dean, personally xD

That is unless dean wants to save his open slot for a new capture? Otherwise I'll take the 9.

He said he would train the starters for now since training usually happens at the beginning of the day. So go ahead and take your 9 XP =)

Just saw that I kinda stuffed up on the code for my first roll. It came out ok I guess, blame it to me being new on these boards.

Yeah rolling is always a bit tricky to get used to when you start. You'll get it eventually.

Sorry, guys. Yesterday was last day of school year and the teacher's happy hour after work was... a bit excessive. I'm still suffering a bit of its consequences, but I'm whiping out a post now.
Also, just so you know, rolling for trouble or resources is more like a "once a day" thing. You don't have to roll it after every battle. Pokemon like the ones you just fought are naturally available and you'll find them, specially this early on to make your teams. Dean hasn't found the trouble he rolled initially yet. Trouble is usually something involving a bit more than just a battle.

Don't sweat it Imtobe, I think we're moving at quite a good pace actually.
Thanks for the heads up on the traveling rolls, wasn't sure how you were going to do it. I just added some pokémaniac rolls to the roll thread, don't know if it'll work on pokémon we've not encountered before.

Ooh, ouch, Sentinel's at 23/50 HP it looks like? If you wanna use a charge of Light Screen on the Poison Sting, go ahead.
