The lickitung seems highly agitated as it wrestles around the whismurs grasp. As it realizes whats happening thought it begins to settle a little. As Rai uses his steady hands to sew the muscle back into place, Felix cant help but feel the presence of a truly sinister magic to the north. It had a sense of taint almost, a truly vile taste was left in his mouth. The others seemed un-phased, but the hairs on Felix's arms became erect and at full attention to this awful sensation.

Felix positively frowns when he senses what might lie to the north. It was... disgusting to put it lightly. "Everyone," Felix said in a much more authoritative voice than one usually saw from him. "There is something truly... vile to the north. I won't say we shouldn't go that way, but if we do be on your guard. I feel a really bad sensation resonating from that direction and it could be powerful magics."
Once the procedure was done, Raimundo gave the Lickitung a pat on the head. He would give it food as a treat and to test if the tongue was still working but he wasn't a chef. As he was packing up with the help of his new and old assistants though, he looked up when he heard Felix's warning. Coming from a chosen of Giratina of all people, that was a sobering thought. But at the same time... this might be a threat they need to remove.
"As strange as it might seem for the medic to say, I vote we investigate the source of that. If it's giving you of all people bad vibes, it could be something we definitely need to eliminate."
Following after the medic, only packing her amp away and returning the lickitung to it's ball. Isabella nodded at Rai's suggestion. "Bad vibes are indeed something to investigate...unless it was a bad song, then you just need to run." Isabella let out a chuckle at her own humor, not letting her usual cackle out. She wasn't good at sneaking but she wasn't going to give them away immediately.
Darius looked over the Giratina child with a visibly skeptical eye. He had been watching the boy the entire time in the Dungeon, but now he made it obvious, to communicate his opinion with the rest of the group. "This is not a time for hesitation, boy," he said, loosening his sword in its sheath. "Our alliance is doomed if we falter on the first floor." His voice was low, but not necessarily threatening. Simply grim, and matter-of-fact.
It was obvious however that Darius felt the need for caution as well. As he stepped forward, deeper into the darkness, he was careful to walk quietly, his hand that didn't hold Isabella's, resting on his sword.
The party goes on to investigate the vile aura. As they inch further every part of Felix's brain saying to run and hide. They come across a simple yet sturdy door. Its large wooden grain appeared to be inscribed with several runes. No sound or smell could be had. Just this, this door.

Nothing noticeable evil or vile was showing up just yet. It was just a door inscribed with some curious runes. Something wasn't right, that much was certain. Even with the lack of things to perceive, all of Felix's senses were flaring. It was an awful sensation that Felix only barely managed to overcome. "I don't like this," he admitted out loud. He sighed, overcoming his fears and stepped forward to attempt to examine the runes.
The party scrutinizes the door. Its Felix and his time with the master of death who is able to finally piece it all together. "Death comes on swift wings for those who enter this door." As Felix begins to get close to the symbols they glow an eerie red and seem to illuminate.

"Death comes on swift wings for those who enter this door," Felix read aloud as he finished examining the door. He took a small step backwards when the runes glowed red in case he activated a trap of some kind or something. It certainly was ominous and affirmed his feelings about this direction. Did their group have what it takes to face whatever was behind this door? Felix would let group consensus decide that. He turned back to the others and asked "What do you think?"
After Felix translated with strange runes, Rafe was feeling a bit unsure on continuing on this path. "I'm not sure that entering this room is going to be that great of an idea as we stand," he told the rest of the group. "We should definitely completely heal our teams including the newly caught monsters before we do this. 'Swift wings' also sounds ominous. Do we have a response for aerial battle? We might want to check out that other fork we skipped over and see if we can shore up some better responses to fliers."
"I expect we would have heard tales of anything dangerous we'd run into this early," Darius said, thinking of the stories he'd heard from his Familia about their delves. It was always difficult to discern how much of those were exaggerated boasts. "I think this is likely the entrance to the next level. The inscription seems to denote a population of Flying type creatures." Speaking coolly and analytically about a potential threat was a good way for a commander to ease the nerves of his troops, something Darius felt would be wise in this situation. Meanwhile, in the back of his mind, he was making a note of the fact that Felix could read the runes on the door. This seemed too legitimate to be a trap set by the boy's Familia, but it was still valuable knowledge.
"I agree with Rafe, however," Darius continued. "Searching the rest of this floor will allow us to verify my extrapolation." Cool and analytical. Deep down though, the thirst for battle still rushed through his veins. He needed something to relieve it.
"Darius, I didn't know you knew such big words. Good for you~. I must agree with him as well, there's still plenty on this floor to see, and that door isn't going anywhere. Let's see if we missed anything."
General Ed like Darius, but better = Fa|Z0d_M1-61-61-61-61-6·1-6·1-6·1-6
It was almost just as odd. Pulling your collective stories from those within your Familia it would seem that a large boss awaited soon, but not beyond a door. What was more troublesome is that the tales of powerful magic's, had only been discussed on the floors past five. There were riddles sure, but nothing of this dark nature.
Raimundo was thoughtful as he processed everything the others said and talked among one another. When there was a finally a lull in the conversation while they debated about the door and the strange ominous feeling and words people were getting from it, he spoke up with his own opinions.
"Alright. If you lot have settled that the door is appropriately ominous and needs preparation, then perhaps it would be prudent to take care of rest of the entire floor, heal up, and then deal with whatever is on the other side like Rafe mentioned? I am not quite sure how many hours have passed -next time I ought to bring a watch in here- but a rested group is a prepared group. And as of right now, I believe most of us only have mid-range options so more possible choices or even a pokemon with wings may be key. Shall we go, if there are no objections?"
Isabella let out a long, drawn out sigh of annoyance. She didn't want to take forever on one floor, and further walking sounded annoying. "Do we really have to? It sounds like a needless expenditure of energy to even enter this door. Shouldn't we instead search for the stairs and leave as soon as possible? I dread walking around needlessly" She was a lazy and pampered princess, so you couldn't really blame her for being spoiled, it just came naturally.
"Just a bit more, my dear," Darius said, putting his arm around Isabella's waist and pulling her close to him with a sly smile. "I promise I'll make it up to you tonight." He then leaned in to whisper in her ear, in what, to the rest of the group, looked like a suggestive manner, but the words didn't match his appearance at all. "Letting them underestimate us is good, but at the moment, looking too weak would be a problem." He completed the facade by running his thumb down her jaw, and to the edge of her mouth before leaning back.
Turning away from her then, Darius said to the rest of the group, "Well, what are we waiting for?" He wasn't actually feeling impatient, and he doubted Isabella was either. However, he did want to solve the puzzle of this door. Their gathered intelligence had only led to more of a mystery. Perhaps it was actually a Giratina trap. It seemed process of elimination was now their only option. And he still needed something to kill. Therefore, walking with a straight back, though at a somewhat leisurely pace, he made to lead the group back to the path they had not yet taken.
Isabella gives a sweet smile to her husband, whispering back into his ear. "ah yes, wasting time is equal to being strong, I'll remember that dear~" She gives her husband a wink as he pulls away, her own hand pulling out the fan from god knows where and beginning to fan herself with it. She respects Darius and loves him dearly, but both of them are headstrong enough to keep grudges...Isabella is just the pettier of the two.
She picked up dear Morrigan, before assuming her position in the lineup. She's not holding a heavy grudge, so falling right in line with her husband was easy.
The party decided against the dark powers that lie behind the mysterious door. They instead went on to the more foreseeable dangers, like ya know monsters. Heading headstrong and adamant to attack something, they go down a long hallway, the last one to be explored by these adventurers. After an hour of hallways they cant help but to think when it will end, but then it can be heard. The sound of a snoring beast. This beasts snores begin to shake the chamber around them, they stopped right before the beast came into view, fearing it see them first. However there appeared to be other sounds, small whimsical sounds that all appeared to be in harmony. It..it sounded like a bunch of one of the previous monsters singing in unison...WhISMUR!

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
