Felix had stayed toward the back of the group up until this point, letting them do their thing while he observed mostly. The growling from down the hall was certainly ominous and did put some minor pressure on Noe to hurry up with the locked chest in the room. "Is there anything we can do to help, Noe?" Felix asked, noticing the chest seemed to be proving difficult. He had no idea what any of them could do short of attempting to avoid the trap themselves and entering the room, but if Noe or anyone else had an idea of some sort, Felix was willing to attempt to help. Lucky and Bayeux were certainly possible agents of aid since they didn't actually touch the floor and traps, but Felix wasn't sure how that would be of assistance other than maybe giving Noe a tool or something.
Unfortunately the time to think was dwindling fast. Felix wasn't too concerned just yet, but the beasts did finally show themselves: more normal types similar to the ones previously encountered. Darius was at the forefront to greet the beasts and did so quite viciously. "Get ready, Lucky," Felix said calmly, hoping to help Darius fend off the beasts at range. Their main strategy would be useless yet again due to the beasts' immunity to Ominous Wind, which was definitely unfortunate, but it didn't mean they couldn't support and get a few potshots in on the dogs.
Rafe watched Noe as he flew across the room and landed on the chest. "Nice job Noe! I'd join you, but I don't think I'd be of much use."
"Once we feel we're back in a safe environment, someone could probably ride Hasili over the gap," Rafe said to the rest of the group. "Getting strapped in might take a couple of tries, but staying on should be simple with the saddle."
Rafe heard the first few sounds of the clash with Darius and prepared to help him out.
Isabella had been getting antsy at the lack of anything for her to do, so the sight of a battle breaking out brought a smile to her face as she let Morrigan out of her hands before swiftly bringing out her Zither. "It's been a bit, time to help my dear husband with the rabble"
She gave out a laugh as she went to join her husband in the fight, little Morrigan trailing behind her.
Rafe and Hasili are the first up to bat. Many people block his path as he comes resounding down the halls. His companions clutching the wall and allowing passage as his rushes to meet his foe that Darius seems to be interlocked with.
Seeing as how he was in the back of the group, Rafe repositioned himself and his steed in the doorway of the room Noe went into. From there, Hasili launched a fire ball towards Darius' foe and Rafe psyched himself up.
With the orders given to him from Noe, Aipom(Sieg) quickly directs his attention to the nefarious pupper to his right, tossing a massive seed at it's head. Noe on the other hand attempts to open the chest once more
Fairy Wind attack, AC=2: 1d20 If it hits, Damage: 2d6+28 Finally, spending an AP to raise Lucky's Special Attack by +1 since it is as its current default at the end of its turn (as per Stat Ace feature)
Raimundo himself was unable to maneuver through the area without hitting anyone else with his one known attack -not that he expected Darius to be even hurt, but it was the principle of the thing- so instead he lifted up Visenya and aimed her face at the closest of the dogs - the one that was attacking Darius.
Darius nearly flinched as the Pokemon, and then blast of energy flew over his head, but his old battlefield instincts kept him focused through those, and the attack from the monster in front of him. He responded with another blow of his own, lashing out at the beast with his icy blade, still dripping red from the previous strike. He glanced up at the creature hovering above his head, and with a vicious grin, said, "That's a nice trick. Let's see if you can keep up."
Visenya is able to finally finish off the beast as it burst into a medium sized crystal. Darius rushes forward at the next beast, and begins to dig his blade in before the beast has a chance to back up his fellow friend. With blood oozing from his fresh wound the animal prepares for his attack.
Isabella steps up behind her husband, following his lead, for the most part as she has an argument inside her head on if she wants one of the dogs. She shrugs to herself, before letting her voice attempt to lull it to sleep, she'd catch it if it falls asleep.

The dog begins to take shallow breaths but it does not let up the assault! Noe eventually fiddles the lock open with a small clicking sound. The chest does raises slightly and everyone's eyes sort of shift to the shimmer of potential gold.....

Hearing a clicking sound coming from inside the trapped room, Felix could only assume Noe had finally opened the chest. He called out to his Pokemon, Lucky, let's help them finish off this battle so we can deal with the treasure! (Applying brutal training orders: Crit/Effect range is now +2). Felix moves forward, but can't quite make it close enough to the end of the crowded hallway to where he could get a clear shot.
(On Lucky's turn) Lucky flies forward a bit and fires off another fairy wind at the attacking creature.
With evil puppers out of the way, and gold beneath his feet, Noe quickly gets off of the chest to work through the loot. An abundance of gold is great, but heavy to carry, so he focuses on finding lighter, more valuable piece . . . though he does pocket a coin to bring home to Noir later.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
