The letter procures mixed feelings in Sylvia. On the one hand, this indeed seems to be the person most able to help her, given that the effects of... whatever 142 is, well, they fit what she's experience exactly. That's good, that's very good. Because it means someone's had experience with this, and can maybe know how to cure it.
On the other hand, though... the letter also says she's looking for another specimen. And also dissections. She very much does not want to be turned into a guinea pig, nor torn apart to figure her out. She just wants this gone. "Well..." she chokes out, at last. "The good news is, if anyone can help me, it's probably this woman, given she mentions something similar to me..." She takes a deep breath. "The bad news is that she's in the market for specimens. So if I end up going there..." She trails off.

I'm not going to say it was damage, but it was damage.

Parish leafed through the notes as they were offered him, expression set in deep concentration with a mild hint of annoyance on the side. Life, by definition, implied several things even in the most basic terms of 'normal' science. The requirement for sustenance, and ability to reproduce of immediate concern. The Nexus was both a place, and a thing, if it possessed a level of sapience and control over its abilities and the rate of decay then it was no doubt a greatly formidable thing. He laid the notes to rest on the table, and rose to pace.
"In our research everything is layered, and the effects of dimensional manipulation can distort many things. It can be harnessed as a destructive force, remove one from the perception of others, and even turn back the wheels of time itself as the past infinitely cascades into a sea of variables and permutations of possibilities endless." The man addressed himself, pulling at his hair. "With the nature of what we saw today, and the extent of the tearing, I hypothesize that perhaps the objective of these clanks is not to keep intruders out, it is to keep something else contained. We should poke around in their bits, and see what information can be gleaned... though I've no doubt this has already been attempted... mmm."

"While this woman may be an issue, if she knows how to fix you, she's atleast worth checking out right?" Lennart said to the worried Sylvia "In my experience, its best to keep moving rather than to let yourself stagnate for too long, even if you aren't a 100% sure about the place you're going to. You may get stuck in your predicament if you don't seize opportunities while you can. Besides, with this crazy crew, we can probably figure our way out of most situations."
Lennart hopes that gave Sylvia a bit more of an inclination to get a move on. Her troubles were the current Linchpin to the traveling group, if she got cold feet it was doubtful they would all have a reason to stick together. Keeping a move on was especially important for Lennart, the possibility of trackers following him was always looming. If he got stuck here for too long, he could be found out, which was the very last thing he wanted to happen.

Edgar remains quiet through the demonstration as to the two servant's true nature. What could he say, after being shown the depths of their plight? When the topic of conversation turns to possible ways to help the girl with the odd abilities, he simply shrugs. One place was as good as another to one without connections or moorings beyond the contract he was engaged in.

Angela gives a nod at Sylvia, understanding her point. It would be problematic if she was bound and experimented on, and despite the blatant hypocrisy, she felt that Sylvia really didn't need to be put that far under the microscope. "Should we head there, I shall find it necessary to make sure she doesn't do anything, It wouldn't be in her best interest in this case." Angela pushes up her glasses, the glare coming off of the glasses helping with the implied threat.
