The unit that spoke swivels it's head to look at Sylvia with an audible grinding sound.
"Data implies otherwise. Gate functioned. Security breach into Nexus. Deconstructing contraband. All other considerations negligible."

Angela let out an annoyed sigh, this was going nowhere. They were obtuse and annoying. She just wished to be rid of them. "I see, so nothing will get you to stop your actions then...that is unfortunate"
She sent a command to Rem, making the balloon stiffen and start floating back to her side. Rem seemed very tense all of a sudden, as he felt his master's plans. He shivered in what seemed to be anticipation, something was about to go down.
Angela herself seemed very tense, her hand gripping the iron ball in her hand harshly as she considers the validity of throwing the first blow. She was certain if no one stepped in before her, that there would be an iron ball flying across the room to smash in that Clank.

Edgar is looking a bit peeved now. "So our survival is negligible is it? How about yours?!" With a roar he springs forward, going for the one that's speaking. "Smash their limbs, we'll let the Madboys poke at their internals to find out what the hell is going on here afterwards!"

Getting ready to charge into a full brawl, Skit reaches for the frying pan that never leaves his side and motions for Confit to join him at his side."Now you're speakin' my language! I been itchin' to smash somethin' all day." Skit is more than prepared for a scuffle.

Edgar surges forward... but the thing's armor is tougher than he anticipated. His strikes are off-center as well, and what he'd meant to turn into a set of metal-crunching palm strikes that had started all the way from his hips instead merely glanced off. Hearing a sudden whistle led him to spin out of the way, just in time for Mortem to slam an a weathered-looking stone into the clank's left shoulder with a resounding crash of metal on rock.

"You are attempting to reason with a toaster dear girl, and a poorly maintained one at that! They cannot be reasoned with, and they only follow their programming. They don't fear for their own safety or circumstance, they only do as they are told. It is unlikely they care about casualties from their actions either. ARATARE! Dimensional Weaponry Online! Distortion Punch if you would please, then make yourself scarce!"
The Golett's eyes flash, the markings on it's chest and forearm shifting briefly through a myriad of colors as it swings at seemingly empty air, there is a dull crunch from one of the larger clanks as it receives a blow to the midsection and another to the head, a shadowy impression of the Pokemon's fists fading away before it too, flickers out of existence.
(Parish binds Haunting Curse as a swift action, Golett lands Shadow Punch on Heavy Clank A, which cannot miss. Golett then Ghost Steps, becoming untargetable. Aratare gains two curse tokens for it's action.) d6q__6f11d20 Critical Check 3d10+26 Ghost Physical Damage.1d20·3d10+26

Rem floated in place, the only thing seeming to change being that it looked to be pumping more air into itself. It waved it's little arms , as if trying to get the clanks attention. Rem Used Focus Energy, becoming Pumped, while pumped it's critical hit range is extended by 2.

(Combat ensued, here is the log) Angela (Vivi): Rem floated in place, the only thing seeming to change being that it looked to be pumping more air into itself. It waved its little arms, as if trying to get the clanks attention.
Rem Used Focus Energy, becoming Pumped, while pumped its critical hit range is extended by 2.
Dark S.: Sylvia blanches a little bit as it's pointed out what exactly the being is saying. Which probably means that everyone here's about to die. The panic causes her to spasm a little bit to the side in space... ending up directly in front of the slender Clank. She feels a now-more familiar sensation, as fear and a little anger wells up inside her, manifesting as a flash of blue light that surrounds the humanoid.
rolling 1d20 Ac 2 (3) = 3
Code Injection: Status; On a hit, the target is Blinded and Vulnerable for one round.
Necrowolf: Lennart was quite terrified of the otherworldly invaders, but if they were allowed to continue with the reckless deconstruction things would only get worse. No time to run now, the situation demanded action. Lennart will move 6 squares to get behind Sylvia and Sableye, preparing to get into the fray next turn.
Jeromy B.: Leaning in, Parish called into what appeared to be a watch. "Aratare, remain out of phase and ready the dimensional wave." An automated, mechanical voice responding with a crackling 'Confirmed'. Aratare himself couldn't speak, and the transmitter was shoddy, but the basic button riggings to get answers from his creation on its dives were endlessly useful.
(Aratare returns to phase from ghost step, then disappears again for the setup of Phantom Force. Aratare gains a third curse token.)
Sleepy: Skit points at the clanks causing the commotion shouting "Confit, get in there and give 'em a good whackin'." Confit waddles as quickly as he can and raises his leak and points it angrily at the clanks.
Storm: "Let's try that, again shall we?" Edgar growls as he pulls his Impact Gloves tight. Spinning back and using the female as a brace, he ends his maneuver with a two-handed cupped strike to the thing's head, attempting to rattle something loose or cause it to stall out.

Vazad (GM): The metal of the Clanks head crumples slightly at the impact but overall appears stable. It rocks back on its feet for a moment but does not fall or falter.
Sleepy: Skit activates the mechanism on his arm that allows it to be sheathed in fire, charges up to the clank that has been given a female form and body checks it.

The Clank seems to wind up, standing taller. It begins emitting an ear-piercing noise.

Jeromy B.: Parish gets on his wrist comm once more. "Do be quick about it, being the first striker is poor form when your primary line of defense happens to disappear for long periods of time. Angela (Vivi): rolling 3d12+15 Dark Damage (6+1+8)+15 = 30
Vazad (GM): The attack leaves another dent in the shell of the Clank, it wobbles on its feet. Its mechanisms seem to have been damaged.

Each attempts to bull rush their target with their head.

And misses
Dark S.: Sylvia nervously glances at Carbuncle. The glitchy little gremlin seems to be relatively unfazed, and that gives her some strength. "Okay... I know you've melted machines by accident before," she says, "Let's see if you can do so on purpose, this time." The Sableye makes its way forwards, glitching around the Clank's swing... before unleashing a torrent of fire on the trio of mechanoids.
Carbuncle uses Incinerate.

Vazad (GM): The Controller clank begins to buckle and sag, obviously on its last leg. The other two begin to glow bright red as they are super-heated but seem to be holding up.

Dark S.: Sylvia, seeing Carbuncle's attack, nods in satisfaction at her little companion. The Pokemon's always there for her... There's a little shock of worry, though, when she considers the fact that all those Clanks are right next to her partner. That worry sends a small psychic shock through the controller Clank.
Sylvia uses Confusion.

Necrowolf: Seeing the leader fall down quickly was a reassurance, but Lennart realized he had to act now as he saw the other clanks get into a frenzy. "Ergh, hopefully this attack isn't just a waste of effort." He prepares to throw Shuppets Ball at the clank in front of him.
Lennart throws Suture's ball at the Clank 6 squares directly in front of him, using Curve ball to treat the hit as a struggle attack and then Bounce shot to have Suture release 3 squares to the right of the clank.

Sleepy: Skit turns to the clank that tried in vain to hit him. As he does so he winds his arm tight and releases it, allowing it to wildly spin in a circular motion. Doing so he aims an uppercut at what would be its jaw, and yells at his goofy Farfetch'd "Well, come on then! Get on in here." Skit uses Flame Wheel, AC 2, Physical Fire, Burns on 19+

"Under the presumption we have not already been pulled into a spacial envelope and are even now hurtling through the multiverse to be dashed on some surface or another for contacting this 'Nexus', perhaps. If I can stabilize it again long enough for us to pass through it, we may survive."
Parish surveys the damage and tries to get back into the swing of things despite how his head throbs from the blow he'd received. The damage was severe but at least it was mostly surgical in it's execution.

While the others continue to deliberate on the current situation Skit, who is obviously irritated by how accustomed he's become to Klein's handy work, casually walks over to the plug grumbling under his breath. Skit unceremoniously pulls the plug out of its socket, and tosses the chord off to the side."There! 'Appy now?"

"That's not what I mea-!" Sylvia begins before sighing. Sparks. This one seems much more literal minded than most, though. Pursing her lips, she does go to try and find somewhere to look outside, though. She worries what she might see, however, if the Spark's wanting her to look out...

As you examine the damage to the machinery your brain rushes through the proper calculations to return yourselves from a catastrophic space-time fluctuation. You'll obviously have to account for the quantum destabilization that would no doubt accompany such an event, perhaps you could use some of this machinery to create some sort of harmonic dampener? So many ideas, so little time. Maybe one of your companions, most likely that one that seemed to draw spatial anomalies, could be used as a sort of antenna to create a focal point for the gate preventing catastrophic failure. Or MayBe yOU cOuLD CreAtE A TraNSdImEnsIONAL FLUX WAVE ASSIMILATOR FROM...
Suddenly the machinery all goes dark and ceases shaking. After a few tense moments, it seems like nothing untoward is going to happen. When Sylvia goes to the nearest window she sees that the city, while having a few small pillars of smoke here and there that were not present earlier, looks calm and peaceful.

Sylvia breathes a sigh of relief as she looks out the window. It all seems normal, and there are no more holes, at least not that she can see. She'd been a little bit worried after all that that Spark had implied, but it all seems to be fine, and not some other universe.
"It looks like it's all normal out there," Sylvia says, turning back to address the others. "I don't see any holes. And it's still the town."

Angela lets out a sigh at the confirmation they were still in their universe. She might want to get lost in Ultra Space, but she had never encountered Clanks there, so it seemed that was an alternate universe, not a parallel one. She walked over and grabbed Rem's appendages, making sure o keep him from attempting to fly out of the room.
"That is a relief, It is interesting to note that the machine...works, just not as intended. Parish, you do some amazing rush jobs. Remind me to ask for your help next time I need an expert on dimensional fluxes and transport" She looked over at the man, expecting some sort of response before realizing he was far gone right now. She fixed her glasses again, before grabbing her staff and sliding it into the space between her backpack and her back.

Edgar lets out a laugh as he straightens his jacket. "Oh well done! I do believe I'm finding myself liking you!" He claps the cook on the shoulder, as Mortem wrenches himself free from his Ingrain now that the battle is done. Mortem pauses, then pokes Edgar with a tendril.
"Eh?" The tendril points at Parish. "Ah, back to work. Sir, we're out of danger. You can calm down now. Relax, let the tension go..." Edgar takes a sort of sideways stance, gently patting Parish's shoulder with his off hand. His dominant hand is outside the man's field of view, and is clenching in preparation to strike if needed.

"There's no power... what a fascinating anticlimax." Parish replied woozily, and attempted to rub the spots from his eyes. If he'd registered someone had simply pulled the plug on a perfected gateway he might've needed some extreme percussive maintenance, but the earlier blow to the head must've sufficed. "I feel unwell, a seat I think. Edgar could you help me find one?" He used the other man as an impromptu crutch.

Lennart's disposition gets more colorful hearing everything was back to relative normalcy in the town. While his current situation is bad, being trapped in a dimensional limbo with killer robots would certainly be worse.
He walks over to Suture, unsure on how to properly congratulate the marionette for the fighting assistance. He settle on just giving the mon a quick pat on the head. "So uhh, does anybody know the chances of anymore of those robotic bruisers coming to get us?"
