Jason walks slowly into the new chamber, kneeling down to get a better look at some of the clay pots. He's kicking himself a little for not paying enough attention while in the visitor center-- surly these petroglyphs would make more sense if he had. He joins Izzy and Keno at the center looking at the honeycomb structure and three pots laid on top the ridge.
"Those sure look special to me," Jason grins and pulls his stone from his pocket hoping it would trigger something. He stretches his arm to get the stone closer, but doesn't step up. The darkness inside the honeycombs unsettling.

Izzy, when you look at the holes in the walls, you know you and the others are not alone in this room. You can see the shine of a a few eyes, staring at you from each of the holes. A flutter of wings could be heard from one or two of them. Your education tells you that there is a variant of taillow that likes to make their nests on cliffs, sinkholes, and in caves. These "Cliff" Taillow are very territorial and don't like to be disturbed while they hibernate in the winter. You also notice something about the glyphs on the pots. Some of them seem very familiar to you. One looked like a Torchick, another looked like a Piplup, and another looked like a Bulbasaur.
Jason, you find that the sparkling stone has no effect on the pots. Nothing seems to happen.

Izzy nips her lower lip and tilts her head slightly, confirming the direction of the sound before she speaks, "Correction... My earlier thought that there might be mutated Taillow seems to be more realistic."
She points out a trio of pots, "Torchic, Piplup and Bulbasuar... Fire, Water and Grass/Poison?"

"Well the hole to the outside makes there being birds down here more sensable, wonder if they are expecting to entertain guests."
Keno walks about the room, trying not to get to close to the holes in the wall, focusing more on the pots. He finds the three cast in light to be of particular interest, perhaps they correspond to some of the other pots. He studies the markings to see if anything seems to match in the room.

Jason pockets his stone after it does nothing, and says softly, "You think these pots are urns? I don't reckon an alive piplup or torchick could fit inside them."

"These are strange..." Keno continues to lookj at the pots, with a classic, hand on chin, thinking maneuver.

Jason turns from the three pots he was examining to where Keno was investigating, "Find something else?"

Keno, your focus and education combined give you the idea that these may be pokemon native to the region. In fact, they are so rare that you don't really know much about them. None of the public ever seem to talk about them and you only seem to recall the smoking lizard to be used in ads for a particular bad habit that the adults do.

John searches the room looking for a pot with glyph's that represent the pokemon he wishes for a starter: Arachnut.

Keno looks around, "no signs around here that say do not touch."
With the pots illuminated by natural light, he put his flashlight away and removed a pester ball for security. Keno approaches and lifts the lid of the pot with the mysterious fish tailed glyph on it. He gives it a moment to let any gasses or creatures to emerge before he places his face over the opening to peer inside.

John, you determine that the one you want is on the left. Keno, you look inside the pot and discover some items inside. You find a strange urn-like device, a box with the words "Dexter Smart Phones" printed in bold, appealing letters, and a bunch of plastic spray bottles. The device looks small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and the surface of its structure appears to be made of tourmaline. A gold imprint of the glyph you saw on the pot is on it. The spray bottles are sleek in design and look like they are made to be used comfortably in your hand. Below the white plastic of the handles are clear containers with blue liquid.

John, you find the same things, but the device in this one seems to have brown-green spiderweb tourmaline on its surface, along with the glyph on the pot.

John removes the items from the pot, then checks a random nearby pot curiously.

The nearest pot to you has the lizard glyph. Looking inside, you find more of the same stuff, but the device has an opaque rubellite with smoky black and gray colors along with the red.

John leaves it alone and looks at the spiderweb tourmaline maybe it has a clue to what we need to do on it.

Jason walks to Keno and John and peers over them to see what they found. Seeing the unclaimed items in the third pot he pulls them out to examine. He enjoys the small device with the puff of smoke, it feels sleek in his hands. He takes a cautious whiff of the spray bottle nozzle and then opens the "Dexter Smart Phones" box to see what's inside.
"Any ideas what this stuff is for?" Jason asks.

Keno is hesitant to touch the contents, and it's not untill jason picks of the smart phone box that he starts to think he is lagging behind. He can read 'Dexter Smart Phones,' recalling he had given his up when leaving home, cound this really be for him?
With John and Jason emptying out two of the pots, the were less choices for him, presuming they were all full. "Not sure what they are for, but one thing's certin, they aren't ancient artifacts."
So as not to 'lose the race', he hurriedly disposes the pot before him of it's contents. holding one of the spray bottles, he turns it over in his hand, 'potions?'

Izzy keeps her eyes on the holes in the walls as the others approach the pots, staying near the trio which caught her eye earlier, but not touching anything.
