Izzy nods, still clearly uncertain, but offering Jason a small smile. "Okay... I've had Trainers I worked with who think all things are created by Arceus' will, and even I'd say Mew appears to be rather adorable and undemanding,--" She blushes slightly at this admission. "--but none of them have expected me to take part in any ritualistic behaviour to work for them." She points to Keno and the trio of birds, and then the nearest carving of the dancing people. "That would certainly count as a Ritual, in my view."

Jason chuckles kindly, "When we become trainers I doubt this would be a norm. I bet the Professor is just making sure he's choosing the right kind of folks for the job. What do you want to do once you get your licences?"

"Compete in the League, if our responsibilities allow it," Isabella replies promptly, though just as softly as usual. "Safe up my winning so that my cousin and siblings can afford to pay for their Licenses, if they decide to become Trainers as well."
She lets her eyes move from Keno for a moment as she looks to Jason, "What about you?"

Keno did not care to share his aspirations of proving himself to his parents, or the motivations to validate his actions. Instead he responded with truths, just not all of them. Keno, thought again of his jr. detective program, responding as he searched, "I want to be 'the best at what I do.' " (a common tagline appearing is practicly every episode) "Challenging the league will help to build skills and credentials. I want to explore and discover never before seen pokemon."

"I reckon I'd give the gym challenges a go too," Jason replies. "But, if I can be honest, I just want to find and befriend a bunch a new pokemon."
Jason turns his attention to Keno and calls toward him, "Any luck with what you're searching for?"
(OOC: I might be completely confused, but is the tunnel we wish to fallow with the markings though the water? Is that were Keno is going or is the tunnel accessible though a dry path? Sorry.)

(OOC: The path to the east is under very shallow water. Along this path is a way that extends North, like a shelf that overlooks the deeper water, where the three pillars are. At the end of the east path is the tunnel with the markings.)
Keno, looking in the center of the pillars, you find an indentation in the rock under the water that looks like the shape and size of the copper sun you collected in one of the previous rooms. There seems to be a gap in the rocks that forms a ring around it.

"I do believe I've found something..."
Despite it being eaiser to just ask for the sun stone from his pack, he made his way back over to retrieve it himself. He held it aloft as if it were a pokeball that he just caught a trying catch. Before he placed it were it seemed most logical, he tried the gap to see if anything was loose. As he placed the stone, "we may be in for another light show."

Keno, when you place the stone, you feel the limestone beneath your feet quake. The stone ring sinks lower to reveal gaps, letting water drain into the floor. The cave echoed with the creaking of wood from the East. After that was over, the path was no longer underwater and the water receded into a stream that drained from the rock formation into the lake. Coming from a Northeast, the sound of chittering and chattering could be heard.

Izzy frowns at Keno before he causes quite a large amount of noise and rumbling. "Would it honestly kill you to ask your allies before trying to activate anything with an uncertain purpose?"
She shakes her head and then looks to the path. "I suppose that's our destination, then?"

'It worked! Dancing around a fire, sun is fire, simple deduction.'
Keno didn't have an answer for Izzy's question, and since it worked out alright, it didn't seem necessary to apologize. "The Spirit said we would need the sun stone, and it got us to this point, so i think that is the way to go, but, do you think the room with the squirtles has been drained as well?"

"Woowie!" Jason cheers as Keno works the sun stone. "Nice thinking there, Keno."
Jason makes his way to the once submerged area and gets a better look now that the water is gone. The newly dry path does seem like their best bet, and the kid is eager to see what is making the chattering sounds down the way. "Do we wan't to check out the lake then or keep heading this way?"

Izzy frowns at Keno seems set on not admitting just how badly his rash choice could have gone. "I certainly hope this didn't destroy the Squirtle's Habitat," she replies, "otherwise, this would be a poor trial for a Protected area, no?"

Keno can agree with both Izzy's concern for the squirrel, and Jason's suggestion to check on them, but in this instance he acted as intended. "The Spirit said we would need to use the sun stone and this was a clear use for it, I'm sure the water will return once we remove it, but let's check things out first, why don't we make sure the Squirtle are ok first? If it did , we can make sure they are not stuck in a culvert or anything."

You all notice there is a glimpse of the shore, where the squirtles are to the northwest from where you are standing. It looks like you could get a better view by moving to the edge of the now dry limestone floor.

John, you can see across the water at the shore and find that the water wasn't lowered too much and the shore hasn't changed too much, leaving the squirtles the way you left them. However, the surface of the water is bubbling violently, where the Corphish was.

Izzy moves towards the shore when John does, and if she sees the Squirtles are okay, she lets out a little sigh of relief, betraying a slight doubt she's had despite her earlier words.
If she sees the bubbling water, she sends Keno a look that might just be a glare, or her version of one, at least.

"Ah, bet the little bugger is wanting his deep water back," Jason comments, but begins to move toward their, now dry, desired path winding around the the carved birds. "Let's figure out the rest of this puzzle so we can get things back to normal for him."

Before Leaving to check on the Squirtles, (Squirrels ) Keno would re-sock and re-shoe, sling his pack back over his shoulder. Izzy game him a look when they say the Corphish bubbling away. Focus 3EGVacrG3d6Seeing her he thought, 'maybe she has to go to the bathroom, this cave isn't equipped with facilities...'"Yes, let's press on, get things back the way they were as soon as we can. We've been down here for quite some time already. Let me see if I can calm this Corphish real quick before we go."Keno moves to the edge of the water and tries to commune with the albino crustacean. In a melodic voice he calls out to it, "Corphish, Corphish, happy Corphish. Don't you worry, we'll have your water back to you soon, you bet. No one's here to hurt you, relax yourself, try not to fret." Mystic Sences 3d63d6·3d6
