Drallore: Tell me something about the history of Dunvos
.
Dunvos was once a mining town, without magic or gods. That is, until one particular miner happened upon a tablet that acted as a communication device between mortals and god's that had never been seen before. Unbenounced to the miners, using the tablet would open up a passageway between this world and one of monsters. Thus, the dungeon was created. Many believe the reasons these particular gods chose to stay is because they felt responsible for bringing the dungeon to this world.

Archemage Loras Jeratius - For most, magic begins and ends with the gods. There are those however that come into the ability on there own. Loras Jeratius is one such man. Born a noble in Dunvos, he quickly discovered his magical affinity. He devoted his life to the study of this power, and along the way created the most extensive arcane library in all of Lestia. It is also said that his immense magical knowledge lead to the discovery of a cure for mortality, but if this is true, he has shared it with no one. Many Familia tried to recruit him, but he found no interest in their games of adventure and petty politics. Instead, he constructed a tower, deep in the heart of Shaymin's forest, that reaches higher than can be seen into the sky, twisting at impossible angles, and defying all architectural wisdom. It is here that his library is housed, and here he has resided for the last hundred years, never deigning to step outside into the world of mortals. He does however, let others in, assuming they can find their way to the tower through the miles of enchanted forest labyrinth that surround it. Those that choose this path are often other magical scholars, but he will accept any. Many desperate individuals have attempted the journey in search of a miracle, but just as many have gone mad in the maze.

The Ars Ballos Symphonium, the premiere landmark of the fine arts, you can find amazing works of art here, whether live or immortally sanctioned in it's halls. It was originally owned by Melloetta, and was originally just a preformance hall but, as the other gods familia's grew so too did their interest in the hall. Eventually Melloetta gave up ownership in stead of having it be co owned by all the gods. Every god has a place in this hallowed hall and their familia's works can be found enshrined here. You can find a relic of Mew's single Familia as well as one of Palkia's , but despite their smaller contributions they still have their own wings inside the symphonium. Despite becoming a glorified museum, it still has live shows, while mostly done by those of Melloetta's familia, plenty of others have preformed here as well.

Walter Heydrich, the Usurper - A former pickpocket orphan turned ambitious general, he was very much disgruntled and dissatisfied by the fueding and the fragmented familia and systems of his era. He believed in the superiority of Humanity over pokemon and even the gods, and eventually he came to develop an outrageous idea -- a Dunvos with marginalized gods, merely figureheads and artillery of one glorious united kingdom, one united familia within the kingdom to serve as its army.
He managed to amass an army of loyalists within the Dunvos army and even amongst most of the familia, along with a plethora of magic items and mages to aid him in this plan. With the help of a few rival kingdoms he had allied with, he attempted a coup against the king and actually succeeded, but upon him trying to enforce his new rules after stabilizing his hold the gods actually banded together with their families to stop his rule and establish a new king and a new dynasty. It was not without great cost however, as the kingdom was devastated for over a decade after this struggle until they managed to rebuild under the helm of their new king.
However, his influence has left a lasting impact and even now, amongst the fringes of society there are those who still truly believe in his ideals. For the most part though, Walter's motivations, rise to power, and his own military brilliance remains studied in the military academy for officers in Dunvos and in a few other kingdoms.

Cresselia: The Cresselia familia are a large and needed support crew for the other gods of Dunvos. If Darkrai has big plans, it's largely due in part to the need to counter Cresselia's even bigger plans. With many of her familia gifted with Sight, it's no wonder that planning for the future abounds in this bunch. It takes a true seer and visionary to piece together all these prophecies into one coherent string, and that is exactly what Cresselia attempts to do. She always aims to stay two steps ahead of not only Darkrai and his clan, but just about anyone in general. She is also a patient goddess and believes in taking her time in exacting detail to ensure that the seeds of her plans come to fruition. Granted there are always chaotic, unforeseen factors (usually in the form of Darkrai) that tend to interfere with her plots. Nevertheless, she tirelessly trudges forward to ensure her grand schemes for the future take hold.
Ninather: Tell me about a crazy magic item that was secreted away in the dungeon.
The Reality Writer: Thousands of years ago, the lunar duo each created a glass candle. Through which, they were able to reach into the minds and dreams of men. They would see the dreams and fears of the mortals around them. When victims slept, the wielders were able to change dreams to their whim. Many prophecies and fears in those days came from the gods showing them different realities in their sleep. Eventually, other gods became jealous and granted an ability to a thief to resist the urges of the candles and to break them. The plan backfired when the thief instead took the iron resolve the gods bestowed upon him and fused the two candles into a single obsidian one, able to influence even the pantheon of gods. The new candle had the previous traits, but was now able to, over time, manipulate how its victims perceived the real world. Its power ebbs and flows with the lunar cycles, and on the full or new moon, it is able to force those under its control into the world of dreams, where reality is whatever the holder chooses.
