With a final, massive hit, Sam brings down the Mienshao. The Guantlet Trainer may be disappointed in their loss, but they managed to significantly weaken at least one, possibly two of Jane's Pokemon, so they'll make do with that and do better next time.
The final battle is against Gym Trainer Ayame.
"Greetings, Trainer. Are you prepared for the final bout in the Gauntlet? I won't hold back."

Pesky gym trainer got Mrs Christie and ran Nie out of frequency so that got to count for two at least! Jane was visibly delighted when Sam but her foot down, but since she won, didn't make more the a respectful 'good match' out of it.
"Right! Let's go then!" Jane cheered. She was more then ready to take on this challenge! Well try at least - most of her pokemon were getting a bit tired by now. But she still had one Ace left up her sleeve.
First though; Sam the Mawile! (Init 6)

Song gave Jane a cheer as she cleared the Gauntlet and reached the real challenge. She quietly pondered if Jane would be joining in the fight or trying to simply avoid everything.

Feeling the pressure the tanky fairy puffs herself up to appear as formidable as possible. And she Irons her Defences! Her leftovers continue to recover a little bit of her earlier bruises and bumps. Would it be enough?

Since the Swak is still tired from the Counter Ana switched to her Grass Booster and goes for Leaf Blade! Ana dashes across the Swak as she uses her pass move.

Well, that was irritating. Sawk didn't even get to land a hit on that dumb grass snake. No matter. Primeape can handle it.
It pops in and... stops to study its opponent? Weird. Primeape aren't known for being intellectuals... oh wait, it's doing something! A faint blue aura appears around it while a light green one appears around Ana. Moments later, Primeape's aura changes colors to match Ana's.

Primeape used Psych Up! It copied Ana's stat boosts! Ayame issues Inspired Orders.
