Of course she would say that, as if she didn't have any magical cave adventures. Salena's upper body collapses as she gestures toward her partner. "This is Raven. I was hoping to beat you guys here and do a bit of exploring, but I guess Lavender Town doesn't have buses. So she told me that and now she's kind of here with us. Say hello Raven... Whoo...

At the mention of more "exploring," Riley's face goes a bit pale. "We just hurried through, cause, well- it's just a cave but, um, even if we did want to explore, we have no supplies! So I guess our only option is to make a stop in Lavender," Riley pleads. Then she focuses on the girl next to Lavender. "Oh, um. Hi, I'm Riley. Raven? Nice to meet you." While she introduces herself, Riley edges away from the cave entrance.

Raven calmly greets the other, easily excited members of Salena's little troupe, producing a flashlight and a poke ball when the mention of supplies is brought up.
"I have a light, and Bella, my Butterfree, can create silk threads for us to use as rope. Alternatively, I have regular rope as well if you'd prefer."

"That sounds good! Cavern exploration time!" Jane cheers and gives the team a thumbs-up. She pulls out her Dowsing Rod and continues "And we can surely make some glowsticks just for fun later. But let's see what we can find down here for now. Juuuust a little spelunking at least!"
Jane starts to wander towards the area marked 12 on the map, hopefully with her friends right behind her!

Riley heaves a heavy inward groan at the thought of going back in the tunnel, but it seems her friends and the newbie have already decided. Riley's not going to chicken out of going underground like last time, because that'll arouse too much suspicion! I'm NOT gonna look like a scaredy cat. she thinks. After all, isn't Riley supposed to be the spooky one? Maybe this could be a good thing. Maybe peer pressure mixed with exposure therapy will help her get over her fear...
But as the cave's gaping maw swallows her whole, Riley trudges through the gravel with fear and trembling, but somehow still manages to keep up with her friends. Once again, she makes her way down into this evil place...

"Aha! Victory!" Salena cries as the last Shuppet goes down! The Shuppet's Pokéball, now to be named Mr. Sheets, disappears into thin air as she addresses her comrades in cave exploration. "First! Before I forget, thanks for the assist Jane! And Riley! Ooooh! How did you do. That something really cool!" Come-on-come-on-come-! Let's head over to the next zone!
And so, Salena takes the lead this time, dragging the party to Zone 5, on their way to the prospective Zone 12. Who knows what they might see next!
Encounter Roll is a 2!

"Oh no worries!" Jane cheers. And then switches back to her Whimsicott, whom she fuzzed a bit with. Poor Nie! Ah well, she'd be fine eventually. For now let's see what else was in the cavern!
Encounter roll is a 1 (for Zone 12).

Ana the Serperior puffs herself up so she looks greatly imposing and majestic ready to retaliate against the Duskull that bumped her. And ... It just falls over by itself. Still holding her breath the grass snake pokes the ghost with the tip of her tail, frowning in confusion. Uh uhum. So that's how it was going to be? Ana deflated a bit and headed back into her pokéball. Maybe the next fight would give her a chance to drain drain drain some more?
"Great job everyone!" Jane cheers once the Duskulls are fainted and the hail stops (how did that work indoors anyhow? Truly a great mystery!). After recalling her Ana she brings out Sam again and sits down, placing the scorched Mawile in her lap. She rummages trough her bag a bit until she finds her First Aid Kit. She wasn't any great - or even good - nurse (which was probably painfully obvious to anyone that knew anything about medicine) but she could at least apply some cooling balm to cure that Burn!
b1AMpfaY2d6 - Draining 1 AP to cure Burn and heal for 2d6 damage!
Then with that done she takes a moment to fuzz a bit more with Sam before returning her to her ball and standing up. "All right! Let's see if there's anything but ghosts in this part of the tunnel ..."

After climbing down into the lower area at Point of Interest #15 and finding nothing, the group heads back in the other direction, where the map indicates there should be a way down to the next level of Rock Tunnel, which is well off the beaten path. Along the way, Raven happens upon an Energy Root. She's not terribly interested in it, but unless someone speaks up, she'll hold onto it to sell when the group returns to town next. As you all reach the next crossroads, Raven speaks up.
"Alright, so from here we can go in any direction. If we continue straight ahead, we'll eventually find the way leading down to level 2 of this place. Alternatively, we can turn off somewhere and explore some more. Thoughts? Opinions?"
(Currently the party is at Point 6, where the Energy Root was found.)

"Hmm..." Jane considered their options. On one hand their pokémon had plenty of stamina left. On the other, they hadn't really planned to do that much exploring today. Sticking her hands in her pockets she tried to gauge how the rest of the party felt, especially Riley. "Maybe we should settle for exploring this level and then head back to Lavender Town? We still have some business at the Pokémon Tower tomorrow and shouldn't be too exhausted!"

"It is getting a bit late." Salena yawns. "I say we do just a tad more exploring of this floor, then turn in for the night."
"Which reminds me... I'm going to have to let mom know I'm here." Says the more rational side of Salena's brain. "But wouldn't she be a bit worried that I'm back already?" Replies the irrational. This time, the rational side is swift. No. That was a silly thought. Mom surely wouldn't mind her spending the night, though she was probably going to leave out the more interesting details of her events so far; the keystone, and being surrounded by naked women in a hot tub. That and-
Oh. Right.
"H-hey. I never did actually mention but... When we go back to Celadon, I would recommend not walking alone by yourself. I kind of got... Robbed."
Saying this, Salena bobs off slowly towards Point 10, eager to change the subject.

Riley goes "Yes! Let's head back soon!" A bit too eagerly...and now people are looking at her (is Riley shivering? It's not that cold in here...) Awkward! Riley tries to move on. "Um, look, I think the exit is this way-" In her desperation, Riley rushes down several wrong turns and ends up in location 8. Oops! She's too scared to think straight!

"Yeah that sounds about right ..." Jane shrugs softly, her mind slowly processing what her friends were actually saying. Wait a minute... That's not right at all! No frakking way! she realized with a start and jerked to a halt. "You got robbed Lavender?! That's horrible!"
Really horrible! She wasn't even sure how to react to this. Uh ... Uhh ...... Making a snap decision she went for a hug. She hadn't know Lavender for very long, hopefully it wouldn't be too awkward! "They didn't take your pokémon I hope?! Or hurt you? Right?!"
Okay. It was getting awkward. Moving towards really awkward. Hopefully that would be enough hugging! (Oh but Riley looks a bit out there too - I hope she didn't get robbed too?! Jane wasn't sure if she was ready to hug another member of the party just yet!) "... *Uh* We'll make sure to be careful in Celadon from now on. As long as you are okay though?"

Out of the corner of her eye, she spots a telltale shimmer in the air over next to Riley. If it weren't her Pokémon, she'd probably have never known about it, but Salena had been partners with Mrs. Christie long enough to know she was up to no good. "Mrs. Christie, don't go scaring Riley. She's already a bit out of sorts."
And lo! She wasn't far off. Mrs. Christie materializes a few inches away from Riley's ears. Surely one little scream wouldn't have been so bad, right? Bah! She forced herself to be content to be feeding off the waves of fear that were already emanating from the panicky young girl. She closed her eyes for a moment and-
"Ok! I'm pretty sure the way out is... This way, right?" She says, pointing a finger accusingly at a nearby tunnel.

Riley picks up the pokeball with heatmor inside. Then, standing back up, she looks up at the yawning earth around her and gets a strong head-rush that leaves her almost delirious, swaying back and forth. Riley barely manages to register that the new girl is saying something. Left...left...so many lefts. When will I leave this place? she thinks, as stars flash before her eyes, and then she swoons, toppling backward.

....into dense, warm fur? That can't be right. Riley opens her eyes and peers upward. All she sees is a looming, brown mountain. A breathing brown mountain! She turns around and steps back to get a better look. Riot? Riley gasps. Riot! You're huge! For a split second, Riley completely forgets where she is and starts laughing. Look at you!
There, standing in Riot's place, is a MAMOSWINE! Tall and proud! Riley runs over and buries her face into Riot's fur, absolutely refusing to turn back to the wretched death-trap. Riot doesn't seem to mind, and she utters a low, meaningful groan. Riley pokes her head out from the fur. Oh. I didn't think of that. Really, you'll protect me down here? Riot urges with a louder groan. Okay! Wow! Here I come! and Riley proceeds to attempt to climb onto Riot's back.

Should she succeed, Riley rides on Riot with a wry, widening smile. Why, what a wild, rhyming style! (couldn't resist hehe)
