I know I can follow particular threads, but is there a way to follow a subforum? Or at least have everything in there automatically appear in the bookmarks?

Not that I know of, sorry. The only way would be to do it to all of the threads individually.

I decided to edit the title rather than start a new thread, but is there a way to only get a notification email for the first new post in a thread, until you check the forums?
It's a bit much to get ten emails for a single thread between visits. XD

I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think setting notifications to "Smart Notifications" (or whatever it's called, I never use them) does that. But if not, I don't know.

Trying that now and will post back here in a day or so to see if that works. I'd previously had it as "Instantly" because I didn't know what "Smart" was for.

Okay. "Smart" seemed to work for a short while (I wasn't getting an email for every post), but now I don't get any notificaton emails at all...
