"You two really are on the ball, thanks for finding her for me." She tries to play along. Her tone gets more serious then. "I would like to report an issue we had with one of the people on your council: the one running the paintball game. Varuna, you know her name right? Anyway we managed to win at her game, so she waited until we were alone and attacked us, grabbing Varuna here quite fiercely and making accusations of cheating. Quite obviously false ones at that, proven further by the fact she felt she needed to confront us with no witnesses." She looks to Varuna to see if she'd speak up with the name.
"Good day, detective. I'm a student at Shinjuki high and am reporting multiple suicide risks noticed on students related to the student council apparently due to mental abuse caused by the student council president. After informing the faculty and having them not do anything, I also believe it necessary to request an investigation on reckless negligence on their part since their inactivity is directly endangering the mental health of the students and, taking into account the suicide risks, their physical health as well"
Madame President seems concerned with the news given to her by Suzume
"My goodness. That's unacceptable. I've always known she was proud of her methods, but to act so childishly when confronted with loss? Unacceptable. Suzume, Varuna, I am so sorry that this happened to you. You have my word that she will be dealt with immediatly"
With a few taps on her phone, a message is sent
"There we go. I've just sent security that her status as ROTC club president has been revoked, and she will be escorted out of the building immediately. I don't have much more to offer you as an apology, but please, at least take these tickets. They'll allow you free access of every part of the festival."
Her tone is stern and sincere. She's definitely not messing around with this accusation, and was quick to remove the aforementioned paintball girl. It seems like the president is genuinely concerned about you and Varuna.
On the other end of the phone, the detective chuckles to himself. He doesn't seem to be taking you very seriously
"Alright, alright. So you've got some stressed out kids, and it sounds like the faculty have already been informed about it, and don't feel a need to intervene. Do you have any evidence to support your claims?"
Ciara, having already taken the 'just kids, it'll be fine' angle from the teacher earlier and quite miffed about the police also doing similar.
"Multiple eyewitnesses, who can corroborate one of the victims was in the verge of a mental breakdown... probably camera footage of the events, seeing as we are inside a school. Furthermore? I'm a military brat, and trained to recognize potential suicide risks as well as figure out ways to at least talk them down. At least in my home country, the police are usually the ones to inform in cases of child abuse and reckless negligence, never mind suicide risks"
The last remark carried a heavy dose of sarcasm, clearly caused by Ciara's annoyance.
"Besides that, I don't really know what you expect me to show as evidence. Unless you want me to wait at someone to hang themselves and take a picture of them hanging from the noose before taking them down, which is exactly what I'm calling you to prevent"
Miguel stared as the man walked away with a raised eyebrow. Once he was sure the man was out of earshot, he glanced over at Dr. Tavarez in bemusement and curiosity. "The man certainly seemed serious about his 'exaggerated nonsense.' Is it something that'll just possibly bite you and yours in the ass later or is it something that me and the others might have to worry about as well? You don't need to tell me what it is - your business is your business. Just need to know that much... and if you need any help with that."
He gave her a wry smile. "You already somewhat know my connections, anyway."
"Well, in that case, feel free to bring us any of these eye witnesses or security camera videos, and maybe we'll look into getting a warrant or something to investigate, but without any hard evidence showing a direct link between suicidal behavior and the actions of someone at the school, we can't do much of anything. Anything else Ms. military brat?"
Sparrow finally spoke up again. He knew it was best to keep quiet when Mother's co-workers were around
"Don't be so dramatic. We've been handling this sort of thing just fine without anyone else's help. We don't need you."
"Sparrow be nice. Though . . . he does have a point. We do know what we're doing, and while I genuinely appreciate the offer, it may only end up making this whole thing bigger than it needs to be. I'd prefer to keep it limited to those immediately affected by it."
He looked thoughtfully at the both of them before shrugging and nodding. If that was what they wanted, then who was he to try and force his help anyway? "Alright, if that's what you both want then sure. Just know that the offer's on the table if you ever need it beautiful."
He then glanced at Sparrow. "Anyway... did anyone text you yet?"
"Look, I know you don't really believe me, and think I've got some crackpot conspiracy going or something. The school's not participant in the abuse besided not doing anything to stop it, but that's really not the big thing. Just, could you make sure someone's around? I don't know how to talk down a jumper"
"Wow. Thank you, really. I wasn't expecting anything near so quick a response." Suzume is a bit flustered by the President so efficiently taking action, and her righteous zeal is fairly deflated by the fact that the problem was dealt with earnestly. It then occurs to her she doesn't know the names of any potential victims, which would probably be the first thing the president would ask if she asked her to ease up. "And thanks for grabbing her for me guys, I'm glad we could get this sorted ASAP." she says to the other two, aware they're looking for an out. Lastly she turns to Varuna "Still hungry?"
Suzume stops to check her phone, and then stops altogether. She sees Ciara's message and types out a reply Student president is at the council room. I talked to her about the one person I know and she immediately dealt with it. Think you could come address your concern for that other kid?
"Miguel! They've found the president! Quick, we need to-"
Suddenly a young female with grey bags under her eyes rushes up to Mother
"Dr. Tavarez? You're podium time is coming up soon. Please follow me"
"Right now?! I . . . oh dear. Ok, Miguel, sweety, can you take our son to . . . somewhere else a normal preteen would want to go?"
Mother whispers to Miguel
"Take Sparrow and meet the others at the council president's office. Start discussing her actions with the student council and see if you can get a general understanding of what she's doing specifically so we have something to work with
Mother then sends a text to everyone saying to either get to the council room, or to stay there until you all group.
And that's all he got in edgewise before a young woman came in and called Dr. Tavarez in. At the whisper though, he nodded and then offered her a small smile and a lazy thumbs up.
"Alright. I'm sure that Jason over here's getting bored out of his mind just looking around the same old gym, so we'll be taking a walk around." He patted Jason on the shoulder and then gently began to nudge him away. "Come on kiddo, let's go. There's probably a place that you'd really prefer over this place, right? Unless you want to listen to your mom give a talk you've probably heard like ten times already."

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
