The Butterfree, or Anais, spins and chitters in what is very clearly acceptance. Then it rubs the side of its head against Adri's face before landing on her head.
A few minutes later two Jennies ride on up on Sawsbucks. One returns the still clearly distressed Rhyhorn and the unconcious Dustox while the other handcuffs the poacher. The one who returned the pokemon approaches you two.
"Nice job here you two. Did you see this guy working with anyone else?"
Kylie nods to the officer. "Thanks." She smiles at the duskull as she heads back to Leanne. "Kida was hurt pretty badly. I was quite shocked she was still flying after that." She holds Kida's poke ball in her hand. "Let's head back. I want to get my friends ready for our next fight. We might be strong enough to consider taking on a gym."
The walk back to the farm is quick and uneventful, thankfully. You walk into the farmyard to see Jack just finish giving his statement to an officer, upon seeing you he gives a big sigh and walks over. "Im awful sorry about sending you in there with a poacher. If i had known thats what was going on in there, i would have called the Jennies. Anyway, you both deserve this." He hands both of you 1500 pokedollars and offers you a basket of berries "Here, take a couple of these too."
*You each gain a Trainer level and can take 3 Tier 1 or 2 berries."
Leanne nodded and waved it off in slightly panicky fashion.
"Oh! Um, don't worry though! You really had no way of knowing and it worked out in the end. even if it was kinda scary"
She took the pokedollars and found herself a Jaboca, a Micle and an Enigma berry from the pile before turning back to the farmer. She was kind of unsure how to properly thank him, or what the formal way of doing it was like on the Silver Coast.
Kylie looks back to Leanne. "You're telling me. I was more expecting just a bigger predator." She looks over the two lansat and the lum berries she got. "So, think we're strong enough between the two of us to take on a gym, maybe?"
"I-I-I... I don't know. I don't know how gyms work, or if we'd do well against ghosts which I think was the local gym, and we're just starting out so it may be better to train a little more or maybe not. And ghosts are scary so I don't know if I want to fight them really, plus I think the gym leader said something of not accepting people with at least some badges... Um, maybe?
Burr Point is a small stopover town in the north of the Silver Coast. It rests on top of a coastal cliff face and is otherwise surrounded by vast stands of pine forest.
Points of Interest: Mariner Gym: This gym is run by Captain Norton and is based in the old Burr Lighthouse. It was decommissioned 10 years ago when the new one was built just offshore and Captain Norton moved his gym there shortly thereafter.
Shoal Cave: A small cave just north of town located on the beach. Only accessible at low tide otherwise the cave is half full of water. A good place to catch pokemon.
Riggsville is the head of the Northwoods Confederacy and is the largest of the cities. Originally it was renowned for shipbuilding, and it still is to an extent, but it is now more known for logging. Its one of the largest cities in the region and is a common early stop for new trainers.
Points of Interest Logger's Clear Cut: This old lumber yard is the home of the Logger Gym, run by Setanta. Setanta recently took over the gym from Paul Rosenwood who retired two years ago. Setanta is known to be far more aggressive in his fighting style than Paul, but the gym is still popular as an early trial.
Pine Mall: The Pine Mall is Riggsville's largest shopping center and the third largest in the entire region. It has pretty much anything a person could think of.
Skoldergard: This is the headquarters of the Hunter's Guild, a massive Guild of Pokemon Rangers and Trainers who catch problem Pokemon as well as work to catch specific, hard to find, pokemon for those who pay. They follow the ethos of the Order of the Stranger and most spend a great deal of time wandering around, but often stop through here to look for jobs.
"Um, so we have to take a ferry no matter what. I only really know Johnstown, so I can't really help much with destinations... But this Burr Point place sounds like it could be good for captures as well as the Gym" Leanne said.
Kylie looks over the map with her traveling partner. "Yeah. I'm thinking Burr Point would be a good place ot start, then once we have that badge we go after Riggsville, then the ghosts? How does that sound?"

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Anyone else here a Hunter x Hunter fan?

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?
Nov 28, 2019 6:17:00 GMT
Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

i wanted to join a living server on roll20 to learn the system but they ignored my application for 2 weeks then blocked me

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.

Post on the Game Masters Seeking Players page. There are plenty examples there to go off of.
