Yes it was bad of Yuan to allow this one slip. However Stella's words only went through one ear and went out the other as Yuan placed a hand lightly on his mouth and began to mutter. Bits of words appeared, mostly stuff like 'balance out' and 'more fair choices.' It wasn't until Stella added the 'well' comment that he snapped back into reality. "Y-yea that sounds fine to me, sorry about that." He said, his cheeks pink with embarrassment. He got the trade part of her comment, it just didn't register until now. "In anycase, I think we've stuck around here long enough. You ready to head out?" He asked, looking a tad anxious.

The Ice Queen nodded her head at Yuan's question, it seemed appropriate that they leave. "I'm prepared to leave, Zakarashi, we're heading out!" She barked it out, turning to the door immediately. Her footsteps were harsh against the floor, the sound reverberating through the room as she reached the door, opening it and turning her head to make sure everyone was following her lead. Her eyes gazing into Zakarashi's for a moment to make sure he knew she meant business before moving on and out the door, heading for the courtyard.

Yuan simply watched as Stella simply barked out an order before turning to leave. Once she was out of the room, he couldn't help but chuckle. "Some things never change do they?" He said to himself, before turning around to pick up his Cubchoo. "Alright Buddy, we're heading out~" He said to Cubchoo, picking him up before leaving the room. He only had to follow the echo of Stella's footsteps as he headed out to the courtyard.

The signal from his Lord was confusing the heck out of Zakarashi. He was merely a ninja...Pokemon, and all the subtle hinting was a bit too much for him to comprehend in an instant. Though the Cubchoo happily eating the fish by his side did snap him out of the guessing game and he too, took more bites of the food. As long as his Lord did not stop him directly, he should be fine, or at least he hoped so. As the command to leave was given, the Pokemon heeded the call immediately. An easy frontflip moved him from the table to the ground in an instant. He did not finish his food just yet but he could just eat as they move.
The Cubchoo just witnessed how cool the Croagunk's action was and he wanted to try that too. He walked to the edge of the table, looked down on the ground to make sure it was a safe height before moving back to give him ground. As he was ready, he charged forward as he get his body ready to flip and...he got pulled by his owner. Though the Cubchoo did not like it initially, it was likely for the best. The Pokemon has not done much acrobatic feat before and would have easily injured himself on the landing. On Yuan's hands, the Cubchoo just held himself steady and let himself be carried by his Papa. It actually reminded him of his past in the mountain with his siblings and such...and now, he was the only Cubchoo around here. For now, the Cubchoo has his body temperature in control. No freezing temperature so far as they hit the courtyard of the school.

Stella starts leading Yuan out of the school, thinking to herself about where their first stop should be. Obviously, South was out, West wasn't worth her time at all, however East provided an interesting opportunity. Normally she would take the obvious road, but normally she would have had a head start, so taking an alternative route might do the two of them some good. Her arms were crossed, her fingers tapping on her sleeve as she contemplated the direction to take. Zakarashi wouldn't be much use against Ghosts, but as such, adding a ghost to her team might be for the best, Yuan might have an opinion on this, she certainly preferred the East route, but she should factor in his thoughts.
Stella stopped, turning to Yuan, her eyes immediately homing onto his own, as she posed the conundrum. "We have two good options, North, the route most of our classmates are undoubtedly taking, or East, into Ghost territory. It depends on what you wish to prioritize, but I certainly wouldn't mind a foray West, we could catch some rarer Pokemon before resuming our way North, or we could just continue East, I am honestly fine with either of those plans" Her face remained stoic throughout the the explanation, the only real indicator she was asking being the slight raise of her eyebrow.

While Yuan kept a small smile on his face, internally he was facing the realization he knew nothing of the surrounding area. All he knew were the restaurants and central market within the city, where he got most of his ingredients. It was only now that maybe learning some self-survival skills might have been a good idea before leaving the school. It wasn't that he wasn't clueless, he had spent a fair few nights in the woods by himself. It was just that maybe learning some foraging skills might be a good idea. With that mental note tucked away, his gaze turned to Stella as she weighed her options, before asking for his opinions on the matter.
"Honestly I'm fine with the Ghost Forest, but if we are planning on spending a few days there, I wanna make a quick stop over at Central Market. We can grab stuff there at a cheaper price, if you're good at haggling." He explained, before reaching down to rub the head of his Cubchoo.

Stella nodded at Yuan's suggestion, stocking up made sense...at least it would have if she had any money on her. She had already gone out and bought supplies beforehand, She had chosen Zakarashi for a multitude of reasons, and his ability to survive in the wild was one of them. Foraging skills were going to be her plan when it was just her and Zakarashi, but with the addition of Yuan to the group, it might be best to switch to normal food...she'll have to make sure to keep aside some funds from this point, Probably best to try and always keep at least 1000 poke if she could afford too, anyways.
"Lead the way, I believe I have taken care of all of my purchases beforehand, but if you need to buy supplies, it's certainly the time to do so" Stella waved her arm to the road to town, expecting him to take the lead at this point.

Figures that Stella would have gotten all of her stuff ready before the trip. Yuan mostly had everything ready to go himself, he just wanted to be careful and have some extra supplies just in case. While he wasn't too sure about most of the roads, he did know the way to the market. With a small nod, he began to walk in the direction of the market, placing the small Cubchoo on his shoulder.

12:42PM, Day 1, January 1090
The Cubchoo was as intereactive as he was before, trying to grab Yuan's hand while he was merely patting his head. Zakarashi, on one hand, just stayed quiet by his Lord's side and not doing much besides constantly monitoring the surrounding. The two trainers were in agreement with ease and headed right off to the central market. The Cubchoo was happy to sit up above Yuan's shoulder on their way there. It was actually the most quiet time of the Cubchoo so far, besides making some sounds on occasion as they walked through the town. The temperature was bearable at the moment. Despite the Cubchoo trying his best to control his body temperature, Yuan could feel the chill around his shoulder -- not to the level that he has to put him down, but occasionally switch shoulder would not be a bad idea. It was the dawn of spring and they were at a city relatively close to the tundra of the region. Without the Cubchoo, the weather was cold enough.
The road to the central market was quiet. A few pedestrians here and there but nothing too special. The Cubchoo did not care much for the enrivonment. As a kind of Pokemon not lived in a biome that has green plants all over the place, it was not something he cared about more than just being there by Yuan's side. Zakarashi was different though. The street, the building, the road, all of them were interesting to him. If the school along could grab his attention, the city certainly did so even more. Between juggling through his duty of keeping up with his master and quietly amazed in the new surrounding, he has his hand full.
The buzzing sound of people was in the air as they were close to the market. Even though it was only noon, the market was already crowded with merchants and customers. Unlike the summer, the sunlight was friendly to the people even at the hottest hour of the day. The group of mothers gave Yuan a warm welcome. They were all regulars in the market - Yuan might as well be a four years mother - and the Cubchoo just drew their attention even more to the little chef. Yuan probably had to answer why the Cubchoo was so thin and be getting motherhood advise all over the market - he was merely at the entrance and he has been asked five times already - but that was unavoidable as long as he wanted to get his cooking material for free. The Cubchoo was pretty friendly to the people albeit the sea of people did not make him comfortable at first. Well, at least Yuan has time to warm up his shoulder now that the Cubchoo was interacting with the people.
Stella did not get the warm reception. Unlikely Yuan, she was merely an outsider to the market community. Zakarashi has problem navigating through the sea of people. Between the tight space and all the walls(stalls) around the place, and him being knee-high, it was not an ideal place for him. He looked around on the nearby buildings. It would be so easy if he could climb up there and monitor thing from above. His ninja training just was not there yet, he still has a lot to learn on climbing up wall as tall as the nearby building, even when they were only two-storey at best. For now, he was fine just staying close to Stella but he might need to think of something if Stella actually want to enter the market with Yuan.
Despite only seeing the stalls around the entrance, Yuan knew what kind of ingredients he could find at this time of year. Meat was the most common item. Livestock meat was cheapest around this time. Having depleted their nutrition over winter, they just were not as tasty as they were in late autumn. For the meager family, this was actually the time to enjoy luxury food at a very fair rate. Though Yuan might need to consider the minimal amount of fat since he has a Cubchoo that needed to pack some weight. On the other side of the spectrum was wild game and wild game, especially those who were active throughout winter, were the go-to meat for the foodies. Dinsifora just happened to be the city to find these meats. The indigenous people by the southest part of the region were good hunters and they occasionally sold them to the market here. One could find everything from Sawsbuck meat to Emobar meat. Fish was not abundant but great food to pick up, especially the species that were active in the cold. They would not come cheap though as it took extra works to catch them in winter.
Vegetable was not as abundant as they would be, at least not in the central market. Greenhouse-grown vegetable in the supermarket, sure, but not here where vendors grew food the traditional way. One could find all kinds of perserved vegetable around the market at this time of year, but most of them were leftover over the winter months so...safe to say they were not the best in terms of taste. Root vegetable was the main sellers at this time, planted and harvested throughout the winter. From carrot to spring onion, Yuan has a lot of choices even without the leafy greens on the menu.
Aside from food, there were also eletronic tools and the like for Stella, if she actually planned on spending money. Despite the city staying loyal to the nature, electronic tools were just too attached to people's life at this point. Most of the things sold in the market were scraps and old eletronic devices that those vendors found...from somewhere? Fair to say the selection was rather narrow and the price was not too good either, especially with vendors taking advantage of the rarity of such tools in this city. Stella would know, she has spend more than she needed getting modification part from other cities and so on. It was one incovinence this green city has for her.
Besides that, there were also clothing and the like for any of them. Plenty of things to check out and more importantly, haggle on their price.

Stella watches as Yuan makes all his purchases. She herself had no money on her person, much less a need for anything here. She began tapping her foot as she waited for Yuan to finish his shopping spree, crossing her arms and giving only a cursory glance when she saw some electronic scrap. It could be interesting to work on making some poke balls, but she would need to get paid before she could even hope to pursue that, hopefully that would be soon, regardless, she could survive for a bit, Zakarashi could fend for himself, so her only true concern was her own strain on her nonexistent funds.
