Addison watches everything passively, shooting a warm smile to the little girl when he first catches her eye. Then he does what Addison does best, chills, and waits for everyone else to speak up before speaking his mind. "Sorry Alexander, but I agree with Karen here. Things that come out at night don't just stop existing during the day, they have to hide somewhere. As such, if we can find the source of the noises while it's still daylight, we'll be likely to have the upper-hand. If we wait to start investigating until nighttime, when it's comfortable, we'll be giving it all the advantages. Best to try and solve the problem before that happens, and if we can't find it during the daylight..." He shrugs. "Then we find it at night when it starts to prowl. However, I'd prefer to do it earlier, because I don't know about you guys, but I still got homework to do tonight."
Then, he jumps up from the couch with a burst of energy that might surprise some of those in the room, and starts making his way towards the door, looking towards the others. "No time to go like the present, right?"

Jill leads everyone to Quartz Street, along the way being completely silent. She seems rather shy, but that might be expected of a little girl. If you'd like to know more about Quartz Street, roll me a General Ed check. Quartz Street apparently is a middle-class community, which is currently undergoing construction. You know this from the lengthy line of cone set-ups along the road. There are several older people walking along the sides of the street with their Pokémon. You also notice that there is a Senior Center located in the center of a beautiful patch of grass, the building itself being incredibly well-maintained. Jill stops in front of the Senior Center. "This is where my Daddy works. D-do you guys want to come inside? He makes lemonade and stuff for me, but...there's always too much."

Karen foots it the whole way to Quartz street, keeping her Johnny boy in his Pokeball for now. When tiny Jill invited her inside, of course Karen agreed with a wholehearted, "Are you inviting us in? Then of course I accept!". The group really should get the search started as soon as possible, but there were still one question Karen wanted to ask Jill but didn't have the chance to. If she could ask Jill's dad, then even better.

Teresa quietly followed behind the group, opting to leave her staff in the classroom (as she hadn't fully figured out how to properly use it with her telekinesis yet and at the moment it was pretty much a very ornate walking stick), taking in the area as they approached, observing the construction work being done for a moment before shaking her head. Doesn't look like there was anything being done that would necessarily upset any 'mon... A shame, would have made this easier.
She nods at the girl's question, smiling slightly. "That would be nice, yes"

With a majority voting for the group to do the investigation in daylight, they decided to go on ahead to the street in question with the little girl leading the way. He made sure to take note of the route as they walked there, and he also took note of the construction that was happening nearby once they reached their destination. Interesting... possibly something to attract pokemon due to noise or perhaps just a good hiding place in the off hours? That was something to think about.
At the offer to go in, he just nodded lazily. "Sure, should be helpful." Never knew if the culprit could be inside after all... not that he was expecting it to be that easy. Also, free food and drink were always a good thing.

Addison seems content to reside in his own little mental world for the walk to Quartz Street, mentally wracking his brain for any tidbits he might have picked up about it during his few months in the city. He glances around at everything with mild interest, and perks up at the mention of lemonade, smiling down at the little girl. "I like the sound of that! Besides, I think you deserve some lemonade right now, don't you?"

Alexander followed wordlessly after the others, going inside, although he had a wide grin on his face...but that was not unusual for Alexander. The little girl leads the lot of you inside, slipping past a family on their way out. She leads all of you into the rec room, where you see several older folk. Some of them are playing chess, others are reading, and the rest are talking. Jill stops and looks around. "Maybe he's not here right-" she begins to say, before two gnarled hands cover her eyes. She giggles as an old man lifts her up. "Hi Daddy!" as he twirls her around, eventually setting her down. "So who are these fellas and ladies?" He walks around giving each of you a surprisingly strong handshake. "They're here to help with the scary noises..." she quietly says. He nods, as he gestures towards the kitchen for everyone to follow him. Quartz Street is largely populated by the aging denizens of Cappucio City. There are rumors that some Chasers make their base here, but it's unclear if that's true. The Senior Center has been here since Cappucio first sprang up. The main attraction to Quartz, however, is the rare Cyndaquil that apparently lives in the sewers. However, no one has ever seen it.

<Daddy?> Karen couldn't help but think this old man was certainly a lot older than she would expect such a young girl's daddy to be. However, she politely kept such thoughts to herself and met the surprisingly strong handshake with her own firm grip after recovering from being caught off guard. For an old man, he shook well.
"Ah. Yes," Karen confirmed what Jill said, nodding to support the point. There's a short pause while she and the others began to be led in the kitchen. Then impatience got the better of Karen and she asked for what she had been hoping to hear, "So, um... Jill here has asked us for help with some scary noises. I was just wondering if you or Jill could tell us anything more about these noises."

This guy was... surprisingly old with a surprisingly firm grip. Was she adopted or something or did this guy just have some damned good swimmers even at this age? Zernebog blinked and had to pinch his arm to keep in a commentary about the guy's age and his daughter's. Talk about late starts in life, man.
He returned the firm grip with one of his own, before just idly following along behind the group as he looked around the place. At Karen's question though, he perked up a bit as he put his hands in his jacket pockets. "And do ya know if this street and this place comes with security cameras, Mister...?"

Alexander held up his gloved hand, politely refusing the handshake. He hadn't said a word for quite some time now, merely looking around with a grin on his face.

Teresa's face remains impassive as she discovers who exactly Jill's dad was... he seemed rather... fitting, in the current setting... she smiles politely as she shakes his hand, internally wincing at the unexpectedly strong grip once again assaulting her poor hand.
"Any information you could give us about the noises or anything related would be appreciated, sir. Regardless of how trivial it may seem, it could still help us out locating and removing the source of the noises," she adds her own two cents to the conversation (as she very carefully ignores Crane's uncharacteristic silence, that could only mean trouble was inbound).

The old man scratches his chin, looking the lot of you over. "Well, I keep telling her that it's probably just some of the sewer Rattata. But she keeps saying that it doesn't sound like a Rattata. I trust her, so it's likely some random Mon who got into the sewers. Doubt it's Predator related. Haven't heard any of it myself, so I can't really help you there. And, no security cameras. I keep asking for them to be installed, but the City keeps stalling."He begins pouring glasses of Lemonade, as Jill silently sits in the corner.

"I see. Unfortunate about those security cameras." Zernebog looked thoughtful as he crossed his arms and thought about the information. The old man was probably right, but at the same time there was always the chance that girl could be right and there was something else lurking in the sewers. A lot of shit got in there. "Is there an opening to the sewers here nearby? One that's big enough for more than just your old Grimers and Rattata? Perhaps that would be a good place to scout out first, if ever."
Because he may be tough but he wasn't going to actually go in the sewers if he could help it. He valued his cleanliness and the well-being of his senses too much to actually go into the pig sty that is a city sewer. Especially the sewer of the city that's the biggest in the region.

Teresa quietly overthinks the old man's words, before sighing and calmly approaching Jill, a soft smile on her face as she gets down to eye level (not a particularly hard task). "Jill, do you think you can tell us what the scary noises sound like? It would really help us figure out what's been scaring you and take care of whatever it is."

Addison stands a bit further back from the group, letting some of the others talk, for the time being. When he can find an opening, he speaks up so that the others can hear it. "You know, the sewers idea makes sense, I've heard some rumors from some of the guys at school how there's supposedly a rare Cyndaquil that lurks in the sewers, it could be it?" He shrugs. "Either way, even if it isn't, sounds like something that would be interesting to try and catch, if you ask me."

"Be it predator or random 'mon, it's a hero's job to help those in need!" Karen proudly states as she energetically pumps a fist. The others were already asking the important questions and mentioning the important rumors, so she said nothing more and simply looked over at Jill with encouraging attention. Karen didn't want to overwhelm the poor child with more questions, nor did Karen want the kid in need to feel like she was being sidelined by asking her father too many questions without hearing her thoughts first.
Suffice to say that Karen wasn't paying Alexander much heed. A... poor choice this writer thinks, but he hadn't done anything suspicious for a while, and in Karen's inexperienced mind, that was enough to suspect nothing from him for the next good while.

Alexander chuckled a little beneath his wide-brimmed hat, his wide grin still showing. Evidently he found what Karen had to say to be quite amusing. Alexander heard the faint screech coming from the sewers. "...and I believe that would qualify as frightening noises to a little girl...," he said to himself, approaching the nearest entrance to the sewers. He briefly considered his options. He could go get the others, but then his little game with Pan was up...but Pan would have a far better time trying to track down something in the sewers. He could send Ganon back to get Pan, but that would leave him without a Pokemon, should the need arise...and Ganon was liable to make a scene. Troublesome.
He sighed, entering the sewer and releasing Ganon next to him. At the very least, two sets of ears were better than one.
"Something down here is screeching," he said to the young Pancham. "We need to find it. The sooner the better, so we can get out of here."
He started walking, best as he could tell, in the direction the screech had come from.

The old man nods to Zernebog. "Yeah, there's an opening fairly near here. Probably where the noises are coming from in the first place". He then laughs at Addison's comment. "Yeah, we've had a couple people go diving for that old thing." He chuckles. "Can't say if it's actually down there."
Jill nods. "It sounds like a really loud screech. Like...ummm...." She looks like she's struggling to describe it. "It doesn't come in one burst. It almost sounds like there's more than one...o-or it's coming in multiple booms." She nods and starts drinking her lemonade. ǡȌȅȘȁȎȄȅȒǀȗȏȕȌȄǀȈȅȁȒǀȁǎǎǎǀȆȌȕȔȔȅȒȉȎȇǀȏȆǀȗȉȎȇȓǀȁȎȄǀȔȈȅȎǀȓȏȍȅȏȎȅǀȓȁșȉȎȇǀǂǣȏȍȅǀȏȎǀȇȕșȓnjǀȑȕȉȅȔǀȄȏȗȎǎǂǎǀǨȅǀȗȏȕȌȄǀȔȈȅȎǀȓȅȅǀȁǀȈȏȏȄȅȄǀȆȉȇȕȒȅǀȐȏȋȅǀȉȔLJȓǀȈȅȁȄǀȏȕȔǀȆȒȏȍǀȁȒȏȕȎȄǀȔȈȅǀȃȏȒȎȅȒnjǀȁȎȄǀȉȍȍȅȄȉȁȔȅȌșǀȒȅȔȒȅȁȔǎØ

Zernebog processed what they said and frowned at once piece of information. "Like a Boom? And multiple booms at that? Can you describe to us the kind of boom or maybe compare the boom to something you're familiar with, kiddo?" He scratched his chin thoughtfully, trying to make sense of things.
Something that sounded like explosive sounds or a pokemon with a booming sound of some kind. Man, he wished he had one of those pokedexes right now to rife through.
