Clio feels the breeze quickly pick up around her, and frowns. That was rarely a good sign. It also didn't stop her from walking into Heimdall's arm. She scowled, stepped away in frustration, and continued moving along in front of him. "Aren't we always in something's territory?"The only other person walking with you can't see the raised finger, lol... :C

Loki grunts in agitation, before glaring at Mimi. "Someone's a smartass..." Using his somewhat tentative position he begins to swing back and forth, building up momentum before leaping over to latch onto the tree trunk proper and scramble up into the more numerous branches. Looking down at Mimi, his glare morphs into a cocky grin. "But then, so am I. Need a hand up?" He extends a hand downward to assist Mimi up further, before looking around to try and spot the source of the buzzing.

Heimdall moves towards the bushes where he hears the faint buzzing coming from, the strength of it increasing as he approaches. Peering into a bush, he notices the source of it. And the source doesn't seem too happy to be noticed. There's a high-pitched electrical hiss as a back and yellow snake, with outlet-pronged fangs, uncoils from inside the bush and makes angry noises at him. From the buzzing, it seems as if it's probably not alone...
Clio moves further along the path (well, it's probably the path, it doesn't feel like she stepped off of it), past where Heimdall was investigating. An audible hissing-growl interrupts her progress... though she can't tell where it's coming from.
Looking around, Loki and Mimi notice that Heimdall seems to have noticed something. There's some movement in the bush in front of him, although they can't pick out what it is.

"Oh, apologies Miss Clio, I didn't realize I was in your way." Heimdall replies sheepishly as the woman pushed past him, before moving to the bushes and immediately finding himself in conflict. Rapping on his shield twice, he called Tyr and Loki to attention, falling into a defensive stance. "Tyr, aim for it's vitals."
(Priority Iterative Evolution on Tyr as a Swift Action top of the current round, binding 2 AP. Holding Heimdall's Standard for Sentinal Stance should the snake go for him first. At Initiative 11, Tyr attacks with Bug Bite and gains 5 DR for the round.)

Loki shakes his head, even as Pyre peers around his trainer's shoulders down at the group on the ground. "Not even a day and he gets in trouble as soon as I'm away from his side." He looks to Mimi, and gives a short bow. "It would seem our friends have need of us miss." Loki will begin to shimmy down the tree.
Once he's reached bottom, Pyre scoots over to the small group, letting out a sharp "Quil!" as he stands up in his own threat display, narrow eyes seeming to glint at the pokemon, even as his flames ignite with a dull "whumphf".

Mimi blinks at Loki, staring at his offered hand for a moment. The winds twist around Clio more carefully as Mimi shakes her head. "Someone, I'm sure," She says, before they are distracted at the combat. She whistles for Artemis and with a put upon sigh at having to leave what she'd just managed to get up into, she steps off of the branch and lets the winds catch her below.
"Artemis, be careful! Back off!" She says, getting a good glance at the snake. "I don't like the look of that thing!"
In the meantime she mutters a soft chant under her breath.

(I've been assuming you're not waiting on me after I said I was holding my turn, but just in case...) Clio turns in the direction she can hear her sister and companions, brows furrowed as she tries to figure out what's going on. Eurus takes to the air, putting a bit of distance between himself and his mistress as he waits for the creature in the bush to emerge... Eurus will wait until initiative 5 or whenever the creature emerges from the bush, whichever is first. He'll use ancient power. Clio will follow up with confusion.

Loki slides down from his tree, as Mimi makes a more graceful (albeit wind-aided) jump down. Meanwhile, Tyr immediately jumps at the snake, chewing on its body. The Pokémon recoils, hissing, but the ambient electricity in the serpent's body conducts to the Karrablast, causing it to shudder. The serpent strikes back, aiming to take just as good of a bite out of the bug as the bug did to it. It's not quite as successful at it seems to hope. Meanwhile, another serpent rises out of the bush, launching a bolt of electricity at Artemis. It strikes true, but, thankfully isn't as effective as it might be on a less foliaged bird. Artemis gets some measure of revenge, though, as she strikes at the first snake before winging away, causing it to collapse back into the bush with a strangled hiss. Eurus and Clio wait for the rustling in the bushes to show itself. Which it does in spectacular fashion, launching itself at the Nazcid in a blur of fur and hissing. Several other similar creatures rush forwards, one going for Artemis, another running in from further away and the final... trying to blind Clio by spraying sand at her eyes with its claws. Even with irritants in her eyes, Clio's able to retaliate with a blast of Psychic power - compounded by crushing rocks from Eurus - and disorients the initial attacker, seeming to put it on its last legs. The first snake having been dispatched before he arrived, Pyre glares at the second one, who shrinks a little before hissing back. Mimi uses Reflect. Boalt 1 takes 2 injuries from Bug Bite. Tyr is Paralyzed from Static. Tyr takes 13 damage from Bite. Artemis takes 17 damage from Thunder Shock. B1 takes an injury and Faints from Leafage. Eurus takes 31 damage and 2 injuries from Tackle, and is pushed 2m. Artemis takes 15 damage from Tackle, and is pushed 2m. Y3 Sprints. Clio is hit with Sand-Attack. And is Blinded. ...Good job, Yungoos. Y1 is hit by Ancient Power. Y1 takes an injury from Confusion, and is Confused. B2 is hit by Leer.

"This won't stand Tyr, look after the others." Heimdall prods at the unconscious serpent with a toe, the timbre of his voice seemed to convey something that didn't carry to the others. Tyr takes up stance. (Binding Brace For Impact and triggering Sentinel Stance as a Standard+Shift. Tyr gains 5 DR as a Standard Action and intercepts as a free this turn with no check required.)

Clio grits her teeth, feeling things around her shift a bit too quickly for her to keep track of. "Eurus?" she calls, hearing the Nazkid's pained chirring. "Try not to get too close! Keep your distance." Her heart pounds, and she focuses, suddenly aware of many small pokemon in the vicinity. "M-Mimi? Where are you?"She tries to target the same one she'd just hit, backing up to stay out of their way. She feels the gust of air above her head suggesting Eurus had made his attack, as well. She could be wrong, but she's pretty sure they both miss, judging by the sound of the breeze hitting a nearby tree rather than a target near the ground. Clio backs up to S14. Eurus backs up to S15. They both miss with their attacks. She uses Omen on Y2 as a Swift Action.

"I'm here," Mimi calls, wind whipping as she dives towards Clio--but they're far away and she can't make it the full way. She mutters a chant.
Artemis takes a blast at Y2.

Mimi bounds forwards, directing Artemis to blast the Pokémon, but with Clio in the middle, the Rowlett's aim goes wide. Meanwhile, Tyr seems to tense up, ready to react, rather than going on the offensive. The second serpent in the bushes slithers forwards, lunging for Heimdall even as he prods the body of the other. It latches onto his foot, the action sending a brief spasm through the human's body. Clio and Eurus do their best, but they don't seem to be able to land anything. The Yungoos don't seem to have that problem, and one launches itself at each twin. While painful, they seem to be more push than claws, and the girls are only scratched. The one attacking Clio isn't so lucky, though, as it lands awkwardly, still befuddled, knocking itself out cold. Mimi uses Lucky Chant. Artemis misses. Heimdall takes 9 damage from Bite, and is Flinched. Clio misses. Eurus misses. Clio takes 26 damage from Tackle, and is pushed 2m. Y1 hurts itself in Confusion and Faints. Mimi takes 20 damage from Tackle, and is pushed 2m.

Mimi sputters at the sudden attack and glares at the creature that attacked her. Artemis peers back at her at the sound, but she waves the Rowlett off. "Protect Clio, I've got this!" She says angrily, shifting forward and lunging at the creature. Artemis peers at the fainted creature and sniffs, ignoring the command to attack Y2 as well.

(Previous Round) Tyr slips between Clio and the offending Youngoos, bracing his little arms forward to take the brunt of the impact with far less effect then the much softer human would have, standing proudly after the hit with his horn on display. (Tyr soaks for Clio as a shift action, with Heimdall's activation of his orders. Damage calculated with +15 DR)
(Current Round) "Wow that smarts." Heimdall shook the numbness out of one of his hands after the bite. He hadn't dealt with snakes like these before, but they stung. Taking a swing at the serpent with his club, he called 'Tyr, with me!" The beetle bounding back to his trainer's side to fight the snake.

Mimi launches a blade of air at the Yungoos, which causes it to recoil. It doesn't have time to react before it's lit ablaze by Clio's mystic energies. While the hopping around it's doing at the surprise of being lit ablaze is enough to throw Eurus' aim off, Artemis strikes true, injuring the beast. While it's hurting, it still manages to lash out at Mimi, pushing her back, before advancing on her with hunger in its eyes. Tyr makes a valiant attempt at returning the favour of a bite, but the snake is a little bit too nimble for him, and manages to evade him. Heimdall, too, is unable to land a solid hit, this snake clearly a little more spatially aware than its compatriot. Tyr, on the other hand, is not so lucky, taking a solid hit from the thing's fangs. Mimi hits with Air Cutter. Tyr misses with Bug Bite. Tyr takes 14 damage, an injury, and is flinched from Bite. Clio hits with Will-O-Wisp. Y2 is burned. Y2 takes an injury from Leafage. Eurus misses with Gust. Mimi takes 25 damage from Tackle, and is pushed 2m. Y2 takes damage from its burn. Heimdall misses with Struggle. Map (At last, oops)
