"GGgrrrrrRRr! This is why we should be allowed to hit kids! Phones out people! We're going in!"
Easter and Mother enter Mythos, and are assumidley followed by the rest of you. As you enter, you're greeted to the same landmarks as the fantasyland you were previously in, but just like before, everything's become fairly distorted. Rather than princess castles and cute little knights, the architecture is that of a dark fantasy nightmare. Creatures bellow throughout the halls
Sparrow disappears before Suzumi can react. "Dammit." She mutters as she takes out her phone, actually sending the party invite before jumping in. "Sparrow! Where are you!"
She takes in the architecture. Certainly more like the RPGs she's played than the cartoonish real world alternative. Pulling out her cornet she mutters "Really wish I wasn't right about needing this today."
"Something's causing an i=unbalance in Mythos. Be ready to find some sort of Big shadow we'll need to take down."
"What about Sparrow? He's not responding to my texts"
"We'll need to find him for sure. Of course that's easier said than done . . ."
"He'll probably be hunting down the big bad guy too right? We should focus on that. I'm sure we'll find him on the way"
"You can't know that for sure though. He could have gone the wrong way and gotten lost."
"Well what's the right way then?"
Out the door of the front entrance, you hear a high pitched scree, significantly louder than the other creatures
"My guess is that way."
Looking around the room, you'll find there's another door on the other side of the building that wasn't open when you were in the real world, but somehow is now. It could be the path Sparrow decided to take, which is definitely not the right path to the big bad guy.
The party has two choices
Go Right: Head straight to the big bad guy, stopping the distortions faster, but risking Sparrow's well being
Go Left: Likely where Sparrow ran off to. You'll have better chances of finding him, but risk the balance of Mythos getting worse
Also, for reference, this is what Easter looks like
Jericha looks down both directions, and turns to Mother. "I think Suzume has a point. We'll handle the big bad. You go find the twerp while we put a stop to this before it gets any worse." She takes out her shield, and fastens it to her arm.
Miguel stared at these two girls. "This doesn't sound like a terribly smart idea. I vote for not splitting the party. But, if we have no other choice because of being out-voted, then I can deal. We'll just play it by ear." He shrugged.
Ciara was deep in thought, not sure if she liked the idea of splitting off from the more experienced members.
"We can't really leave Sparrow alone. He's got this tendency to get in over his head, judging from how we found him the other day"
She bit her lower lip and looked towards the path leading to the big... was it a Shadow?
"I don't like the idea of splitting off either but we don't really have a lot of options, do we? I mean, I'm pretty sure Mother may be strong enough to deal with whatever mess Sparrow got into by herself too. Maybe we could do that and have Easter help us out with the big one?"
Mother looks anxious, and decides for the group as she heads to the left.
"Easter! Keep these guys alive! If the situation is too much, get out immediately!"
"What?! You aren't actually going to-"
"Just do it! I'll be fine! I'll call you guys once I find Sparrow"
With that, mother has left. Easter takes a breath to process the situation, then looks up to you all and smiles, bright and exuberant as always.
"Well, you all heard the scary biker lady! It's up to us to take care of whatever big baddy awaits us! I'm sure we'll be fine though. After all, we all have super cool costumes! Cool costumes fix everything! Even funerals!"
Despite the situation, Easter's optimism may strike a bit of inspiration into you all.
As you head out to the right, you'll find many distorted shadows fighting amongst themselves. They fail to notice you. The wailing that you've heard since entering the world seems to get stronger at a church off in the distance. As you pass the macabre scenery, the ashen black trees, red skies, crumbling stone walls and pillars, you find yourselves at the steps of this.
Miguel was about to volunteer to scout ahead a bit, but upon Mother just up and leaving and then the others practically deciding to just stay together, he shrugged to himself and went along with those suggestions instead. Besides, he wasn't sure where to begin breaking into this church.
He took out a card, focused for a moment as he remembered something that someone told him, and then crushed it in order to summon 'Arsene' the Haunter. The shadow grinned sinisterly behind him as his claws appeared to sharpen, but otherwise didn't say a word as he blended in with the darkness.
( 'Haunter' used Hone Claws! +1 to attack and accuracy for the rest of the scene )
"Well, hopefully not that or a shadow of the archdeacon. Those two were... well, not pleasant, to say the least. At least from what I can remember."
Suzume summons her newest Persona. "Mmmmm. Will there be fools in here that I must eat? Let us see what we can do together." The mantis flexes it's scythe-appendages and wings. Suzume does a quick warm up, and she feels extra energy, seems even her dancing movements have power in Mythos.
With the party buffed and ready to go, Easter leads the charge on the church. The room is dark, and is filled with the heavy low wailing of a creature standing on the other side, surrounded by a variety of Shadows. It's large, fat, toad like, and wreaks of waste from a distance. Its deep voice screams at its companions.
"These fools cannot be reasoned with! They have no idea what it's like do they?! Oh sure, it's easy to judge someone's life from a distance! Easy to be all sweet and optimistic when you aren't the one neck deep in shit! I'll watch them burn! I'll throw them in the fires themselves just so that they can have even a HINT of perspective."
The creature notices you all
"Intruders . . . INTRUUUUUDDDEEEEERRSS!!!!"
His roar shakes the room, and vibrates your very bones. His screams are oppressive, but Easter still leads the charge
Off from the side, two floating blue shadows toss some sort of seed at Easter's larger persona, and Jericha. Upon making contact, the seeds unveil into intricate stems that wrap into their skin, slowly stealing energy from the two

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Anyone else here a Hunter x Hunter fan?

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?
Nov 28, 2019 6:17:00 GMT
Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

i wanted to join a living server on roll20 to learn the system but they ignored my application for 2 weeks then blocked me

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.

Post on the Game Masters Seeking Players page. There are plenty examples there to go off of.
