"WAIT! We're supposed to be bonding! Ok, I'll ask a question, then you ask one, then I'll ask one, then you'll ask one, then . . . well then we keep doing that until we're SUPER BFFs!!! QUESTION THE FIRST!!! What's your spirit animal?!"
Wow, this was actually a worse situation than she anticipated. Jericha furrowed her brow, and looked up at her. "Uhhh. Yeah I don't know about all that...Spirit animal? Uhhh...I don't know. " She looks around, and spots an orca exhibit sign. She shrugs, and points at it. "Uhh...If you're gonna keep buggin me about it, Killer Whales are cool I guess."
"Well I didn't play an instrument then for starters. Mostly avoided people. I was kind of forced to join band to get better at talking to people and I guess it worked." She says, staring off into the distance.
"Huh? Oh sorry. Yeah, my parents made me. Wanted to get me out of my shell I guess? My mum's alright, she gets on my case every now and then about being out too much or grades but overall we get on well enough. My dad is... absent. He's always away with the station so I don't tend to see him often. We have some laughs when he shows up for holidays and then he's gone again." She stares at her soda for a second and then looks at Sparrow before hesitating on something.
"It's... She tried to search for the words. "It can be annoying... they can get on your nerves and you don't really get a long break from them but... it's also nice knowing there's someone there all the time.
Miguel tilted his head at that. "For the weak huh? Interesting philosophy you have there." After all, weapons did change the face of humanity and helped them get to this point, for better or for worse. And to think, his college professors said that it all started with sticks and stones.
As they get to the mountain path, Miguel finally relaxed as they got out of the forest and the taste of bitter nostalgia slowly faded from his mouth. He didn't have nearly as many memories associated with mountains aside from that time he had escaped into the mountains of Italy to try and shake off his pursuers, but he wasn't about to think about that more than in passing. He wasn't going to depress himself anymore.
Instead, he focused on Mother as she began to talk about this place, while idly noting that Kuchi had finally come out to join them while wearing the most stereotypical tourist outfit ever. One that a Westerner would wear like a Brit or an American. It took a lot of self control to nod understandingly at Mother -because it was a sincere sentiment; he'd seen how noisy and hyper her little sister was- while keeping a straight face at the sight of his bodyguard.
Kuchi, meanwhile, was completely oblivious to that and thought that his look perfectly suited him for an undercover guarding job even if he got caught. At the last question though, Kuchi perked up at something he was able to answer.
"Miguel-sama over here is staying as one of my boss' important guests. And boss takes great care of his guests." He said with a firm nod.
Miguel gave Kuchi a dry look. "Even if I don't think it's necessary for me to have a chaperone. I know the language well enough now."
"That's not what boss said, Miguel-sama." Kuchi said with a small grin. "Especially knowing you."
"Hue hue hue~ This is not for the sake of perception dear Ciara. Alone, we may be strong, but our true potential can never be reached. But together? We become the ultimate MechaZoid! Righteuos Thunder Prime!!!!
Easter accompanies her speech with coordinated arm gestures that were obviously planned a long time in advance.
"Of course, this mode is best saved for Mythos, so perhaps I'll get off now. Hiyah Ciara!!! THIS NEXT QUESTION IS OF UPMOST IMPORTENCE!!!"
Easter leaps off Jericha, and dashes straight to Ciara's ear, where she intimately whispers-
"So, mysteriously vague boss man sends this kind brute here to protect Miguel, a man with a unique set of skills, and no notable job to speak of? Obviously crime, but what kind? Can't just be some random gang, and I doubt you're something like IRA. Yakuza maybe? If so, I might know your boss rather personally Kuchi~"

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Anyone else here a Hunter x Hunter fan?

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?
Nov 28, 2019 6:17:00 GMT
Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

i wanted to join a living server on roll20 to learn the system but they ignored my application for 2 weeks then blocked me

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.

Post on the Game Masters Seeking Players page. There are plenty examples there to go off of.
