Floyd activates True Steel in response to the attack, watching Falchion weather the blast. He then advances towards the woman, stepping around the fight but cutting in towards milotic almost right in front of the woman, striking with the force of a pneumatic spike driver.

Milotic is battered and knocked to the ground, but just before the final blow is struck, its trainer calls out to it. It unleashes a wave of ghostly energy, dragging Floyd and Falchion's health down with it.
Activate Not Yet! Milotic takes its turn as an Interrupt to use Destiny Bond!

Thanks to Falchion's well honed reactions Floyd manages to dive away from Milotic, but the fate of his pokemon is sealed. Falchion faints as he cuts down Milotic, leaving Floyd with a scowl.
Floyd releases Ossia and binds Iron Grit and Defense Stratagem.

Floyd strikes at the Darmanitan with a savage hook, shrouding it with the chill of winter. Ossia dashes forwards to flank the ape, striking at it with her tail. Floyd also uses Focused Training on Ossia.

Between Floyd and Ossia, another Pokemon is downed. This one, however, leaves something behind. An orb of spectral energy rushes towards Ossia, settling over her like a shroud and limiting her moves.
Darmanitan used Grudge! Ossia is Suppressed for the remainder of the Encounter. Switching and Taking a Breather does not clear this.
The Trainer swaps it out for a dark blue Huntail and sets up another Blessing as she moves further away again. Huntail boosts.
Huntail uses Coil! +1 ATK/DEF/Acc
Trainer uses Safeguard!

The Huntail easily handles the attack and retaliates with a flurry of massive meteors.

Not long after the dust/flames from the meteors have cleared, a new wave of flame washes over Floyd and Ossia from a Rune that becomes visible after the fact.

Ossia faints upon being struck by the blast of flame. In contrast, Floyd has barely been scorched. With a slight smirk at the woman he hits Huntail and releases Sicarius, who buzzes ominously and rushes the woman. Floyd also uses Focused Training.

A small trickle of blood runs down from the woman's forehead, but she shows no signs of slowing down. Huntail easily dodges the sloppy uppercut. It slithers away from Floyd (AoO) to assault Sicarius.

Sicarius' True Steel allows her to endure the attack again, letting her engulf the woman in a cloud of toxic smoke and stored debris. Floyd lets Huntail bite him, it's fangs failing to penetrate his armour as he begins a brutal beatdown.
