"I was expecting a trap that looked super lethal but wasn't a threat."
Floyd retorts, smiling at Nalkeya.
"I enjoy fighting. Its why I'm in Kanto, other than tracking down Atropa. And I've been waiting for this one for a while."
He explains.

Atropa merely harrumphs and goes to take a spot on the couch to relax while you and Nalkeya throw down. When you reach the battlefield, she throws down a smoke bomb and vanishes from sight for a moment. When the smoke clears, she is no longer in street clothes, but full black/dark purple ninja garb and wielding a pair of kali sticks. She grins at you, as if expecting you to be impressed by how quickly she changed. When you just stand there like a lump, she frowns.
"You really are no fun at all. Not even a little reaction from you? Bleh. All the more reason to beat you down, I guess."

Floyd raises his eyebrows fractionally as he pulls out his axe and beckons over .
"Blame Atropa. Failing to react was a survival mechanism when I was growing up. Worked well when I came in the first time."
He says, beckoning Falchion over for the fight.

"Sounds like Atropa is to blame for a lot of stuff involving you. Seviper, let's get this party started."
As ordered, Nalkeya's Seviper appears on the battlefield to face down Falchion. It opens with a stream of fire from its jaws. Not its preferred method of fighting, but it seems to work well enough. Nalkeya makes an off-hand comment about 'turning up the heat', causing Seviper to roll its eyes in her general direction. Apparently her Pokemon doesn't appreciate the terrible pun anymore than you do.
