"Oh no I didn't mean to mock you I just meant well... um... what else is in Florida?" She frantically backpedals on her faux pas. "Well since I seem to have just pissed him off I guess you won't hav to worry about being on the same team. As for measuring up I will... She starts to get a little quiet but Byakko bumbs her in the back of the leg for encouragement. "I will absolutely be the best!" she yells to make up for it.
"Such determination. It's been a while since I met a human so naive. You've amused me mortal, however, I sense an innocence in you that I can't have in a partner. However, to commend your efforts, I'd be willing to at least assist in turning off that damned contraption"
The puffball rages harder
"GRRRRAAAAAAAHH!! I CAN'T THINK WITH THAT THING BLARING IN MY EARHOLES!!!"
Miguel didn't quite expect to see an angry large puff ball and a calmer-looking Haunter when he arrived on the scene. He also didn't expect the music kid to- well he didn't know what to expect the music kid to do so nevermind that. He looked at the duo and the young girl thoughtfully before finally speaking up and letting his silver tongue due the talking while hopefully still working.
"Perhaps either of you two would like some assistance from me as well? More hands are better than the ones we already have on deck, and I am sure that perhaps you and her or even one of you and I can do quite a wonderful deal once all this is over~" Miguel smiled pleasantly. "And if it is not any trouble, would you if any friends or aquaintances of yours came along?"
After what feels like a few minutes, nothing deadly seems to come charging into the room Jericha is in. She hears a mixture of voices, and slowly heads back to the origin of these voices. She pokes her head inside, and spots Suzume talkin with shadows. "Huh....Uhhhh. Well you aren't dead. Hm? Are those the shadows? Isn't that one of the ones that attacked us before, and the other one isss.....I don't know. Why aren't you dead yet, Suz? Is it safe to be talkin so close to them?"
"Oh well the original plan was to kill you all and send that horrid noise down in the depths of hell, but your companion here was just so delightfully sincere that we opted against it. As for you good sir *miguel*, I smell something on you . . . something horrid and cruel, but not quite evil. A little devil perhaps? Hmm~ All right then, we'd be happy to help you. It seems like you'll be needing it"
"DON'T VOLUNTEER ME FOR SHIT YOU ASSHOLE!!!"
"Please ignore my companion. He has the grace of a stuffed pig. Right now your greatest concern is that machine, and the horde of monsters just waiting to rip you apart over it. I can sense a few have already infiltrated the building, but a swarm are trying their damndest to break in any moment now. Our priority is stopping that noise. Where is it coming from?"
Miguel looked pleased despite the -quite true- dangerous allegations to his character. He inclined his head and pointed the way they came from. "If it wasn't moved then it should probably be that way. We were trying to get away from the awful noise too." And he wasn't lying either. That noise fucking hurt his ears and any place but there was as good as any. "Shall we go? I will take the rear." For insurance that there was no double-crossing, of course. "Unless you both prefer me to lead if not the girl?"
As if by some sort of command, something can be heard bashing on a hallway door on the opposing end of you all and mother's office. There seem to be some kind of argument amongst a few oddly voiced shadows.
"I don't mind it so much. It's not that big of a deal . . ."
"Shut Up! We need to shut that thing off immediatly!!!"
"If you say so boss . . ."
The door bashes down from the might of a large, metalic quadriped. It seems far more distorted than the other two, which includes a blue floating cat, and an edgey grasshopper thing. The grasshopper addresses the group
"You! Humanz! You started this racket didn't you! Turn it off, or I'll eat your from the feet up!!"
"You probably shouldn't do that boss, that's a lot of empty carbs. You'll get fat . . ."
Upon seeing more shadows in the area blocking their way, Miguel looked concerned for a moment before offering them another smile. "We are on my way to do just that. Would you like to join us? Surely such strong-looking shadows would teach us many things while on our way to turn off what someone else is blaring out?" Miguel inclined his head while gesturing to his group. "It'll be an adventure. What do you say?"
Jericha shrugs, and follows the others. This was far from what she was inspecting. But, if they could get rid of that stupid noise maker, it would make this alot easier than getting swarmed by a bunch of angry shadows.
As the team and the now 5 newly arrived shadows head back into Mother's office, it remains just the way you left it. The metal cylinder continues to screech clamors worse than "living la vida loca". The shadows recognize almost immediatly where the sound is coming from, and begin smashing it . . . well except for the blue kitty. He doesn't seem to bothered by anything right now. Unfortunately their efforts are in vein, as this device seems to be well constructed.
Miguel flinched a bit when they entered and the device kept screeching like a metal banshee on bad steroids. However, he kept his cool and then looked on in slight amusement as the shadows tried to smash it only for nothimg to happen. Looks like the brute force approach was out. He wasn't the best with tech but maybe he could spin this to his advantage.
"Of course. As promised." He nodded and looked over the Haunter and the blue cat with a small smile. "As the most level-headed of the bunch, qould you two like to assist us in turning it off? After all, don't you two want bragging rights in using wits instead of force in turning off a human device?" He looked over at the large green mantis. "With permission from the esteemed boss of course."

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Anyone else here a Hunter x Hunter fan?

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?
Nov 28, 2019 6:17:00 GMT
Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

i wanted to join a living server on roll20 to learn the system but they ignored my application for 2 weeks then blocked me

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.

Post on the Game Masters Seeking Players page. There are plenty examples there to go off of.
