Nutmeg hits the Roggenrola, but it keeps standing. Sturdy buggers. Honey follows up Nutmegs assault by capturing the Roggenrola just attacked. Level 11, Male, Sturdy, Impish, 40% HP Stevie rends into his foe, but it has little to no effect on the rock type Pokemon, and Eric's song has no effect at all. Alessa caught the Geodude with no problems, and Myron drains the Roggenrola. (Heal 8) At this point two Aron appear within the lighted area. The Geodudes continue to lob rocks at Nutmeg. Both Eric and Stevie are pretty hurt by the headbutts. Stevie manages to block the worst of the damage to Eric with Friend Guard. Stevie has little other option but to keep trying Metal Claw, this time switching to the one targeting Eric. Stevie Wonder used Metal Claw! | AC: | mq8COmvC1d20+Accuracy Bonus ≥ 3 + Target Evasion | Type: | Steel | Frequency: | At-Will | Damage: | 1d8+22 | Crit Adds: | 1d8+8 | Damage Category: | Physical | Range: | Melee, 1 Target, Spirit Surge | Effects: | Raise the user's Attack by +1 CS on 18+. |
Eric takes a swing at this one too, shredding a power chord to harm the thing, then takign a step back so it can't retaliate too easily. Nutmeg tanks the hit with a cringe, a visibly bloody gash dripping from where a rock shard sliced into her fur. "You've got this, buddy!" Honey calls out sympathetically, biting her lip. She hesitates at the sight of the aron, muttering furtively to Eric and Alessa, "Should we try regrouping? There's an awful lot of these..."
In the meantime, she cheers for Nutmeg, who launches a volley at the Geodude to the south.
Priority Focused Orders on Nutmeg as a swift. Standard to pop a second coat of Dance of Survival (+1 Def, +1 SDef) Shift to move closer to Eric and Alessa.

Nutmeg blasts the Geodude, which remains standing, scowling. Stevie digs into the Roggenrola, leaving a limp, unconscious body in it's wake. Myron meanwhile wiffs it's spore attack. Eric's attack softens the Roggenrola up, making the capture of Alessa a success! Roggenrola, Female, Level 11, Sturdy, 40% HP The Rock Types move into a more defensive position, grouping up. Stevie doesn't seems a bit battered after that latest hit... Both he and Eric opt to retreat back to Honey and Alessa, and Eric sprays Stevie with a potion.

"Nutmeg!" Honey calls out in horror, watching the pokemon falter with the hit. The riolu seems ready to go down, but straightens up at the last minute to send one last volley at the geodude that focused it. Honey then returns Nutmeg to her ball, holding it close. "Clove, think you can help us get out of here?"
Honey uses a swift to focused order the Riolu as a priority.
Riolu uses endure as a free action. It doesn't faint, but is set at 1HP. Riolu uses vacuum wave on Geodude. q0DbdEei1d20+2 to hit, crit on 21/22 2d6+25 on a hit--special, fighting damage. 2d6+8 bonus damage on a crit.
Immediately following, on her turn, Honey will return Riolu as a shift. Clove is already out, but can not move/shift until the next turn. Assuming this is valid, Honey will use her standard to pitch a ball if anything is within range (6). 1d20 Accuracy 1d20 Capture Attempt

Alessa released Kassia in front of the group, hoping to draw some fire away as the team regrouped. The turtle Pokemon instantly tanked one of the Stealth Rocks but seemed unimpressed. "What do you two say? Do we keep going?" she asked. Myron, on the other hand, continued inching forward and shot off a Mega Drain at the closest Aron! "I'd like a shot at the metal looking one over there, but maybe we can try a more focused attack so we're not getting hit from all sides by rocks." He says, pointing out the Aron. "Plus we need to clear these all out one way or the other right?"

Alessa takes a look at Myron and waves at Eric. "If you want to catch one of the steels then I really suggest you try and head towards Myron, because that one is about to get pretty hurt. Myron, use Drain Punch!"Myron waddled in agreement and rushed forward, its whole body glowing blue as it slammed into the Aron and drained it of its energy. Honey moves with the group, sticking close--the closer the better, she thinks, when they've been getting targeted the way they have. Clove, on her shoulder, delivers a blast at the nearest Geodude.
Honey shifts. Unsure if she is considered a mount for Clove, with the pokemon moving with her, or if the pokemon moves separately. I also can not move Clove's token.
Honey will issue brutal + focused training as a standard using commander's voice.
On its turn, Clove will shift if needed and use her standard to use confusion on the geodude if it is still standing. |Kl4L5my1d20+2 vs AC 2 2d6+22 Psychic, Special on a hit 2d6+10 Crit Bonus on a natural roll of 19+
Clove can shift two additional meters if necessary to hit the other geodude, but shifting is hazy for me atm.1d20+2·2d6+22·2d6+10

The Geodude is hit by both attacks and tanks them pretty well, still standing after the onslaught. The Aron likewise takes a heavy hit in form of the Drain Punch, but also still remains standing. (Myron caused 20 points of damage, therefore heals 10) At this point the Rock Types seem to trying to retreat, the damage mounting, and injuries accruing. The Aron and two Geodude are fading into the darkness of the cavern. The remaining combatatants are trying to hold off the aggressors long enough to ensure the escape of their bretheren. The Geodude produces a burst of dust and earth to hamper Stevie and the Aron roars at Myron loudly! Alessa took the chance to recall Myron as he flew by then pat Kassia on the head.
"You tanked that great. Good girl" she said. "Is everyone okay? Do we need to retreat and heal up?"
Kassia hummed in agreement, and withdrew into her shell in case something else decided to show up and target her.

Stevies attack drops the last standing Geodude, which collapses rather satiesfied, having drawn the attack away from it's retreating comrades. Erics Pokeball connects with the Aron, which feebly roars in defiance as it is engulfed by the light and securely captures it with a bit of a struggle. (Level 13, Male, Proud, Bulletproof, 60% HP, Loyalty 1, +1d6 in Focus) Seeing how the Rock Types were able to retreat unhindered, the chamber goes quiet very fast, leaving the exploreres in a large, dark cavern alone. They now have the chance to inspect the pit of quicksand or a large blue stone obelisk, or return for a reward to the Viziereuniclus. [Pokemon EXP:
Myron: 40 EXP Stevie: 40 EXP Nutmeg: 40 EXP Kassia: 30 EXP Clove: 20 EXP]

Honey stands, very still and tense, for several moments as she waits for something else to jump out. When there is no sudden shriek or surprise, she lets out a shaky breath and kneels down near Clove, relaxing minutely.
"Are you guys okay?" She asks, slinging her bag off her shoulder to rummage into its medicine pouch. She releases Nutmeg and starts applying some of the potion salve to his wounds. Clove she checks over, uses a bit of water from her canteen to clean the small white pokemon off, but eventually decides, hesitantly, that she'll be fine.
"And do we keep going?"
As everyone else goes over their mon, and they chat over their next decision, Honey checks on the spybot and the rotomdex, making sure they weren't broken in the brawl. If there is time, she'll have the spybot take a bunch of shots of the quicksand and obelisk.

Eric walks over to pick up the ball. "New friend get!" He then reaches down to pet Stevie. "You did great." The obelisk catches his attention. "Why'd that Kricketot have to run off, I wanna know if this is meant to be here."

Alessa pulled out her dex and snapped a couple pictures of the strange blue obelisk and the sand pit.
"Cassius, could you sell those and send a copy to my research group at L'Étoile? Oh, and feel free to auction off both of the rock-types I just captured. Give me a quick note if any of them is different from the norm" she said. "I think the Elliot that made an offer for the Kabuto is also another explorer, so I'm accepting those 5k for the Kabuto"
With that done she returned to the group, Kassia ever-vigilant at her side, and released Tamara into her arms.
"My Pokemon are pretty healthy still, but yours are pretty beat up. If you give me ten minutes or so, I can craft some patches from a potion to fix that pretty fast"
