The child seems slightly delirious. He's got some notable bruises, and oddly large deep scratches that look like they came from something with a giant 3 fingered claw, but ultimately nothing seems broken or seriously wrong with him. He manages to take a look at the gentleman above him, and a look of fear and confusion falls across his face.
"What the hell? How did-WHY are you here?!"
The kid screamed loud enough to be heard by Suzume and Jericha. Suzume noticed what appears to be a distorted police station with crumbling walls and half of the letter of the sign fallen to the ground, but it's a police station non the less
"... Nope you know what that is nightmare street and I will just enjoy this dream a while longer!" She practically yells, U-Turning with maximum Nope. She then hears the kid yell. "That's what I'd like to know!" Suzume walks back towards the dream things, figuring they at least didn't appear to be a nightmare.
Jericha turns back to the shouting kid. It seems he was fine if he was able to yell like that. Walking over, "What the hell do you mean here!? This is San Fransokyo, right!? Could you tell us why everything is fine one second, and completely F'd up the next!? Also, what the hell happened to you? You came flying out of the sky like a bottle rocket!"
The child reaches past Miguel's hand and grabs the neck of his shirt for leverage to get up. He even seems to growl at Miguel on the way up. He hugs down the wounds on his arm and gives each of you a quick glare before addressing the group.
"Look, there's no time to bother with logistics. You need to leave! You're in serious danger here! So go to wherever it is you got in here from and get out immediatly!"
The obviously distressed child's vagueness may cause some concern, and at least merit some clarification, but that seems to take a back seat to a number of ominous creatures giggling from the shadows of an alleyway nearby. Looking down there you can see large floating eyes and menacing grins against a weirdly triangular silhouette. As the cackling creatures enter the light, you are greeted by the monstrosity of some otherworldly abominations with floating claws.
The creature's screech barely passable english/japanese . . . common core language to the group . . . but are clearly something to be concerned about. The boy grimaces, readies a blade at each side, and stands between the monsters and the group
"Forget it! Ignore them! Just get out of here now!"
The kid was more okay than he thought if he and almost every other person started shouting. Jesus Christ, when did this turn into a scream fest? Why was he trapped with screamers? They were so loud and the kid was so blatant that he almost missed the girl's deadpan reply and he certainly missed the chance for his own deadpan reply back when the kid used his collar and growled as he pulled himself up.
Ungrateful and grumpy little shit.
"Look, if we could leave we would have already done that. But we have literally zero clue as to how we even got to this shithole, kid- what the fuck is that?" He began calmly as he also stood up, only to become absolutely bewildered when he saw the large purple... thing that had floated to the vicinity.
"I'd love to take your advice kid, so you got any suggestions as to the best direction flee?" He remarked casually as he started taking a few steps back.
Jericha sighs as she's getting frustrated with this whole situation, but then turns around when someone starts shouting. She completely freezes up as she spots the horrifying, purple....things. She takes a few shaky steps back. "W-W-....What the hell....R-Run now! It's time to run now!" She yells to run, but her knees start shaking as well. Fear keeps a firm grip on her from taking off sprinting.
Ciara sent both Miguel and the kid a disapproving stare.
"You two can macho out later, when there aren't strange ghost things stalking for us!" she whispered "Now, I do believe moving was your idea, boy, so where are we running to? Or should we just turn a corner and get eaten by one of those?"
The boy gives a slight eye twitch, and seems like he wants to say something rash back, but is too exhausted to do so. Instead he grabs a small bag from his pocket and tosses it to Ciara, then reaffirms his gaze to the monsters, as he takes shaky steps towards them
"If you don't know where you came in from, then for now just look for cover. Try that bank and lock yourselves in the vault for now, they shouldn't be able to get in you there. If some get too close, use what's in the bag. Only as an absolute last resort though, understand? Let me deal with these guys, I'll be fine."
He says, with quite the stride of a cool character, but the wobbly knees do not invoke confidence.
Well this was reassuring. Two people were already shaking at the knees at the sight of the thing -not that he blamed them, it looked as fucked up and scary as it did cool as hell- and then he was accused of being macho when he was casually discussing fleeing of all things? No one has any chill in here, geez.
"I don't think this is quite stalking so much as swarming. Also, still zero clue as to how we got here. We just got here. That's it." He deadpanned as he took several steps further away from that developing hot mess. "And you don't look so hot kid. You sure you can handle those things with your daggers?" He asked while shooting Ciara a look that quietly asked if he should try to drag the boy and then get the hell out of dodge. He wasn't confident about this though as he wasn't the strongest guy around.
Jericha snaps out of it, and holds her hand as pain shoots through it. She nods quickly as they need to get moving, but nearly flips out as Suzume starts walking off again. She is finally able to run over to her, and grab her wrist. "Q-Quit wandering off alone, idiot!" She rounds back to Ciara, and pushes her along too. She doesn't know where to go now that the police station is F'd... Wait....something bout a bank..... She takes a quick scan of the area, and spots the nearby bank. "There! Oi, Let's get inside!" She reaches the entrance, and holds the doors for the others.
Ciara shrugged out of Jericha's grip as quick as possible, but didn't necessarily stop walking.
"Let the kid be, Miguel. It's his choice. You really don't look too well, though. It may be better if you come with us. I have some bandages, and that way you won't just die on us and leave us stranded here with no clue of anything"
She stared intently at the armed boy.
"Do you want our fates on your consciousness, if that happens?"
"GET OFF OF ME." Suzume shrieks. "Bank. Fine." She yanks her arm free of Jericha and stats running for the bank instead, the feeling of someone grabbing her enough to spur real urgency to be done with this nightmare.
She was right, but this kid was also the only one with the knowledge of what the fuck was going on and where they actually were. If he died they were one lead short of figuring out important things. That and it would be annoying if the kid's death to monsters was someone linked to him - he couldn't afford the mark on his record. The Yakuza would be pissed if he pulled attention to himself that way too, and he wasn't on home turf.
Instead of turning tail and fleeing to the bank though, he waited for Ciara to get her answer from the kid. He was tensed as he stayed in position, eyeing the ghosts and the two other remaining humans -if the kid was human, because that fall was killer- and preparing himself to either grab someone and bail or just bail and get the hell out of dodge and into a bank or wherever.
"Oh my god you indecisive little . . . WILL YOU GUYS JUST DO AS I SAY AND GET TO-"
Suddenly, a screech pierces your eardrums as one of the monsters takes advantage of the boy's distraction, and bolts to him, delivering an audibly blunt punch straight to the gut. The boy seemed winded for a brief second before he was hurled to the ground behind you. He is now basically a rag doll.
The creatures cackle louder, and make there way around you. The swarm now has you surrounded.
Suzume stops in her tracks as the kid tumbled past her and the shadow creatures swarm around them all. She takes a step back, tripping over the kid and landing on her butt. "Owww. That really... Hurt..." Dreams don't hurt. She remembers that and it all sinks in at once. She grabs at the kid. "You said back where you came in. We came in here. How out?" She babbles at him, becoming less coherent by the second.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

i wanted to join a living server on roll20 to learn the system but they ignored my application for 2 weeks then blocked me

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
