The party launch a mostly effective assault, but the three remaining Koffing answer back. The north-eastern one attacks Alejandra with Sand Tomb AC 4 vs b8PudGYt1d20 Damage: 2d6+21 The target is put in a Vortex. The south-eastern one moves towards Gulliver and hits him with Mud-Slap. AC 2 vs 1d20 Damage: 1d8+9 The target's Accuracy is lowered by -1. The south-western one hits Gulliver with Assurance. AC 2 vs 1d20 Damage: 2d6+21 If Assurance’s target has already been damaged by a Move on the same round Assurance is being used, Assurance has a Damage Base of 12 (3d12+10 / 30) instead. This effect may trigger only once per Scene per Target. The Inkay also strikes, forcing the red splinters of crystal on it onto Weavile. (Switcheroo - Inkay and Weavile switch hold items. The splinters are equivalent to a lagging tail that can't be dropped) 1d20·2d6+21·1d20·1d8+9·1d20·2d6+21

"Bugs, go after the big thing!" As soon as the words are out of her mouth Buggaboo Launches itself at Inkay. Buggaboo used Shadow Sneak! | AC: | G9JbxCkY1d20+Accuracy Bonus ≥ 2 + Target Evasion | Type: | Ghost | Frequency: | At-Will | Damage: | 2d6+23 | Crit Adds: | 2d6+8 | Damage Category: | Physical | Range: | Melee, 1 Target, Priority | Effects: | -- |
It then absorbs more energy from its gourd (Life Force) With Buggaboo on it's way Karla moves forward and gathers her icy energy to throw at the Koffing fighting Horace and Gulliver. "Let's go, Ale!" Alejandra easily avoids the Koffing's attack and charges toward the menacing Inkay, hoping to hit it from the other side while it's distracted by Cassandra and Weavile. She gives a rumbling growl and snaps at it savagely. From Ale's back, Evie takes a swing at the floating squid herself. Probably won't do that much more than distract it but hopefully she'll have a chance... Alejandra moves in. This probably provokes AoOs from both Inkay and northeast Koffing. If either of them hits her, her Justified ability gives her +1 Attack CS. Alejandra's Intimidate cuts Inkay's Attack! (-1 Attack CS for Inkay!) Alejandra uses Crunch on Inkay! AC 2 vs CZs4rFFw1d20, -1 Defense CS on 17+ 2d10+34 Physical Dark damage. (+4 if her attack went up from Justified)
Evie uses Chip Away on Inkay! AC 2 vs 1d20 2d6+21 Physical Normal damage, ignores Armor, DR, and Defense CS changes If it hits, Evie activates Roughneck and lowers Inkay's Special Attack -1 CS 1d20·2d10+34·1d20·2d6+21

Cassandra keeps one hand on her net and throws a punch at Inkay.
Struggle AC 4 vs QVmqcScs1d20+4 Damage: 1d8+28 (Inkay is still Slowed by the net, thus Finisher applies.)
Due to her Pack Hunt connecting last round, Cassandra gains an additional +2 AC and +5 Damage to her attacks against Inkay until the end of her next turn from the Pack Master feature.
As a swift action, Cassandra binds Pinpoint Strike to Weavile for 2 AP, granting it +2 Accuracy and -5 Damage.
Weavile uses Ice Shard (Priority)!
Ice Shard AC 2 vs 1d20+2 Crit 19+. Damage: 2d6+32
If Cassandra's Struggle deals damage, Pack Hunt triggers for Weavile. If Weavile's Ice Shard deals damage, Cassandra's Pack Hunt triggers.
Cassandra Pack Hunt AC 5 vs 1d20+4 Foe loses a Tick of Hit Points.
Weavile Pack Hunt AC 5 vs 1d20+2 Foe loses a Tick of Hit Points.

Inkay and Koffing both take swings at Alejandra. Inkay hits, throwing Alejandra off balance just long enough for her attack to miss. Cassandra strikes true but her vicious blow passes directly through the Inkay's eyeball. Weavile's charge pushes the Inkay back before it can capitalise on Cassandra's surprise, allowing her to hit it with her follow through. Inkay's Struggle AC 4 vs qj7eq|Js1d20 Damage: 1d8+23
Koffing's Struggle: AC 4 vs 1d20 Damage: 1d8+21 1d20·1d8+23·1d20·1d8+21

The koffing struck by Horace all but explodes, pelting Horace and Gulliver with shards of clay and stinging grains of sand. When the user is reduced to 0 HP or less, they create a Burst 1. Everything in the Burst loses ¼ of its Max Hit Points.

Shoko carefully moves to another wall, hoping not to catch the attention of their large foe currently preoccupied her allies around it. She beckons her bird over directing it to use Ancient Power on the distract giant. Archen quickly positioning himself between them. Still embarrassed from his earlier failed attack, it gathers a swirling vortex of white light in its beak. The brightness of the light fills the room only momentarily before it darts to its target with much more force than usual. Although still unsure of the result, Shoko turns to Archen and gives him a small thumbs up for his effort, " Good." Mirrorshine archen crits with ancient power for 67 rock type special damage. All CS stages rise by 1 as well.

Whoops, ignore this, it wasn't meant to happen yet. Evie makes a frustrated noise when Ale's teeth snap shut just shy of the Inkay's tentacles and her own blow passes through it. Of course it's a Ghost-type. She really should have known, but it was worth a shot, anyway. "New plan, Ale. Light it up - Fire Fang!" The giant Inkay will probably be on guard against another Crunch attack right away, but even if it won't be quite as effective, Alejandra's flaming jaws will hopefully still give it something to think about. The Arcanine roars out a jet of fire as she goes in for another bite. Meanwhile, Evie turns on Ale's back for a moment to lash out at the clay Koffing. She's not wild about having it behind them and would like it to go away... though that does have its own risks, as Horace just discovered. Alejandra uses Fire Fang on Inkay! AC 3 vs aruQ_KSW1d20; Burn or Flinch on 18-19, both on 20. 1 is Burn, 2 is Flinch: 1d2 2d10+38 Physical Fire damage
Evie uses Struggle on the northeast Koffing AC 4 vs 1d20 1d8+17 Normal Physical damage 1d20·1d2·2d10+38·1d20·1d8+17

Upon being blasted by Archen, the Inkay curls up and shudders. It becomes ethereal as its spots start turning grey.

Gulliver starts to fire a confuse ray at the Inaky, but as it disappears he clumsily redirects it at the koffing. AC 2 status Y_YdBS|31d20+1 Hit! 1Ap for Trickster Low Blow Gullivers Acrobatics vs Koffings Acrobatics 4d6+5 Assuming Koffing cant beat a 23, it is vulnerable until Gulliver's next turn. 1d20+1·4d6+5

The north-eastern Koffing targets Alejandra with Mud Slap AC 2 v+s|wtZ0ZxD1d20 Damage: 1d8+9 The target's Accuracy is lowered by -1. The south-western Koffing attacks Gulliver with Assurance Confusion Save: 1d20 Confusion Damage: 1d2 AC 2 vs 1d20 Damage: 2d6+21 Crit Damage: 2d6+8 A few moments later the Inkay becomes solid again, its spots and eyes turning a malevolent crimson. The crimson splinters that cling to it are sent flying through the room, sticking into anything they touch. Second phase of the battle. Everyone in combat rolls a d20 and adds their speed evasion. If you roll less than a 15 you take -2 stages in speed due to the splinters hampering you as they did Inkay. Doesn't apply to Weavile 1d20·1d8+9·1d20·1d2·1d20·2d6+21·2d6+8

Evie makes a frustrated noise when Ale's teeth snap shut just shy of the Inkay's tentacles and her own blow passes through it. Of course it's a Ghost-type. She really should have known, but it was worth a shot, anyway. But Archen seems to have hit home. For a moment she thinks the thing's fainting already, and she takes the moment to lean down and try to clear some of the mud away from Ale's eyes (without much success), but then it seems to recover, with a red glow that just can't be good. Then, suddenly, those shards fire out - Evie tries to steer Alejandra out of the way but neither of them quite manages to evade the blow, drawing a growl of pain out of Ale and a wince from Evie. The sudden drag on their motion doesn't help either. Her powerful shoulder muscles roll as she tries to shake away some of the hampering shards. Alejandra used Fire Fang on Inkay! AC 3 vs rRjHkXGK1d20-1; Burn or Flinch on 18-19, both on 20. Burn 1, Flinch 2: 1d2 2d10+38 Physical Fire damage
At the end of Ale's turn, Evie activates Speed Link as a free action to raise Ale's Speed by +1 CS. 1d20-1·1d2·2d10+38

Inkay takes the hit and hits Alejandra with some Payback. Payback AC 2 vs xO1sFU2Q1d20 Damage: 3d8+33 If the target hit the user with a Damaging Move on the previous turn, Payback has a Damage Base of 10 (3d8+10 / 24) instead.1d20·3d8+33

Feeling it too much still. Shoko steadied herself as she continued to levitate behind her most recent companion. " You did well, but we need pick up the pace. I'm unable to take another hit." Shoko's monotonous voice wavered slightly as she continued to feel the pain from earlier. The potion eased the pain somewhat, but the various cuts (and their sensitivity) remained. " Same plan as always, take it out quickly. Go." Shoko uses commander's voice to use Celerity binding 2AP to improve archen's initiative (+5) on top of using Brutal Orders.

Archen walks up close to the giant Inkay, particularly pissed off as a few shards still hang off of his side. He yells out as he sends out giant slices of wind at the inkay from up close. He seems particularly proud of this attack as he watches hoping that the inkay doesn't avoid this one. Archen crits air cutter for 86 special flying damage. (Roll 17 vs AC 2).
18+ -> 16+ to crit with brutal training/orders.

Karla ko's the Koffing, only for her and Gulliver to suffer the aftermath. When the user is reduced to 0 HP or less, they create a Burst 1. Everything in the Burst loses ¼ of its Max Hit Points. Archen blasts the Inkay, leaving an obvious wound.
