Hazard change:
Getting pushed (or any other form of forced movement) into a Hazard will trigger it, regardless of who placed it (Poison type Pokémon will be forced to destroy Toxic Spikes they move over, as will Bugs with Sticky Web, etc.). Exceptions apply for Impassable Hazards such as Barrier. They still function as blocking terrain, as they have no triggers.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
Inside the temples, the game format will switch to Pokémon Mystery dungeon. The following rules will be used for a PC's Pokémon Form:
- The Pokémon's end HP will be multiplied by two. Damage, status, and injuries are all tracked separately between forms.
- Stat Tags will not apply, though all other benefits of features are retained. Moves and Abilities from Features are tracked separately from any natural moves.
- Any feature targeting “your Pokémon” may instead target you or any ally, so long as they meet other prerequisites, and all other restrictions are followed. Static Effects will only target yourself, if they apply, however.
- Having an Elemental Connection allows you to count as that type for the purposes of Features. For example, a Trainer with Elemental Connection (Bug) would be able to have a Bug Ace’s Chitin Shield triggered for it.
- Gaining an Ability or Move from an Edge or Feature, that you already have, allows you to instead (if an Ability) gain an Ability of equal or lower rank to the one you would have gotten, or (if a Move) retrain the Move on your Pokémon Move list.
- Pokémon form will only heal from resting while the Trainer is in Human Form. (i.e. outside the Temples)
- Add any of your Trainer's skill ranks above untrained as a bonus to your Pokémon Form’s listed skill. Use the non-listed ability scores exactly as your Trainer’s.
- A Trainer's Pokémon Form Level equals twice that of their Trainer Level.
- Any experience gained in Pokémon Form will instead be accumulated, and doled out to each Pokémon in a Trainer’s party (to a maximum of 6 Pokémon) once the Trainer returns to Human Form.
- At any time, if a Trainer is at 0 or lower HP, they may, as a Free Action, return to their Human form, outside the entrance of the Temple.
