Vicky sighs, "Is there any way I can get you to stop that without saluting you back? I'm not your commanding officer or whatever, I don't know why our b- I mean why you all think I should be."

Corbett stops saluting, and looks confused
"The one called Nester said you'd be our commanding officer. Do we not actually have one?"

Upon being asked about the nearest reserve, the AI gladly answered. "The Coral Forest Reserve would be the closest. It's mostly a facility dedicated to the study and preservation of Water-type Pokemon. They offer the usual affair of a paid ticket to go catch Pokemon. They only provide 10 balls, so avail yourself of the information in the facility itself before heading out to the Coral Forests around there."

"Is everyone OK with going there after we train?" Vicky asks the party.

Vicky sighs, "We don't HAVE a commanding officer, we are a team, we make decisions as a team! I have no idea why Nester over there said I was." She mutters to herself, "I have enough pressure on me right now anyway."

"I could groom up my pokemon," he looks at most of his team and holds up Kafka's ball, "dunno about getting another water pokemon, but I'm curious to see what's out there."
Noting Corbett's confusion, "I wasn't told of any order of command," thinking, "we should make decisions as a, group, um, equal rank, proceed for the good of the group."
"If we are going to train, can we all train together? Maybe I could take some notes while we do."

Corbett maintains his perplexed nature as he tries and understand how an group can have no commanding officer. His head is clearly elsewhere
"Uh yes . . . let''s do that . . . group thing"

Nester turns to vicky "Just trying to explain things in ways army square can understand. Thought it best to have an intersecting line for parallel opinions eh? Nester then turns his attention to the AI "Any way. Oi Lerne, give them the factors at play in Coral Forest and top 3 pokemon caught there by order of percentage."

"Well, I have no problem sticking around to see what's common at the reserve, but I'd say regardless, it seems like that's where we are headed. Any objections?"

"Gladly. You'll have 30 minutes inside the reserve, during which you can use 5 individual Reserve Balls. When your time is up, or your Reserve Balls are all gone, the safari is over. Guided no-contact tours are also available. A tour is 50 Poke, whereas a single safari is 200 Poke. You cannot battle anything inside the safari.
Top Three Most Encountered Pokemon are Corsola, Chinchou, and Luvdisc."
The AI seemed matter of fact about it.

Checking his wallet, seeing he had little more than enough 'It'll almost wipe me out, so I hope it's worth it. It's new sights to see though; better make the best of it.'
Turning to the group, "I game to go, I can swing it. Personally, I think it might behoove us to take the guided tour to take note of where interesting things we see might be, to maximize the use of our 30 minutes."
Remembering the earlier suggestion, "we can let our pokemon stretch their legs a bit first, and head over. It sounds like their particular brand of aid won't be necessary at the reserve."

"A perimeter sweep would be ideal. Me and Radar can spot out points of interest and Tazukie can record it. After that we can worry about finding out who our commanding officer is."

"Well then let's go." Vicky declares, "I can give our mon some exercise as we walk."As they walk to the safari vicky trains the entire party's pokemon. using elite trainer to apply both agile and brutal training, and draining one AP to use ace trainer to increase to combat stage of a stat of the owner's choice.

Nester waves off Vicki "I've got to do more dedicated training and bond with the bab. But thanks for the offer." he then lets out his clauncher and places her on his hat so he can teach her while they move.

The path to the reserve was peaceful, if uneventful, and soon enough, the entry building was tall before you. Before you could enter, however, the air seemed to change. A man riding a Noivern landed before your party, and hopped off the Pokemon. Dressed in armor, with a tattered shawl over shoulders, he brandished what seemed to be an axe, though it had a hook opposite the blade that had a catch for one to throw Poke Balls from. His unkempt black hair was medium in length, and swept to the side. He also had a goatee, and piercing blue eyes. The man smiled as he observed your party, though it wasn't a smile that made the situation less tense. "A group of trainers heading to a reserve. Neat. Unfortunately, your trip ends here. I can't let you go further... I have a poaching date with the rare Relicanth said to be there, and pesky Trainers will no doubt try and interfere if I didn't dispose of them first."((OOC: Checks DC 13 Perception check to notice four other men hiding nearby, ready to ambush. DC 13 Pokemon Education check to identify the Noivern as a Noivern. (+6 on this roll if you have seen one before in your past.) DC 7 Perception check to see a total of four Poke Balls on the man's person.))

Rolls: Auto-fail poke ed Perception to find ambush g0q9zftU4d6 DC 13 Perception to see Pokeballs 4d6 DC 7 "Is it really the best idea to tell us your intentions right away?" Vicky snarks. She gets candle's pokeball ready, not being entirely without a sense of self-preservation. She eyes the pokeballs on the belt of the would-be poacher, seems like a fight is inevitable. 4d6·4d6
