Since there didn't appear to be any Pokemon left that were willing to wander about out in the open, it stood to reason that checking out of the open was the next step. Trista debated sending out one of her own Pokemon to help search, but... Porygon would probably spook them for fun, Castform would find some way to announce itself 'bravely', and Grimer was... a Grimer. Sure, it could move more quietly than her, but it would still assault some other senses. So it looked like she would be exploring alone for a while. With that in mind, Trista looks for any deep, dark alleys to quietly examine. Just in case rolls. Perhaps because of her unfamiliarity with the area, Trista doesn’t really spot any secluded areas where Pokemon could be hiding. She manages to move silently enough not to alert any Pokemon, but there aren’t any Pokemon to alert in the first place.

It was starting to look like she was wasting her time (inasmuch as the solitude could be a waste, anyways) wandering about the town. While that was a little disappointing, at least Trista knew not to explore this area anymore... She was even fine having her evening plans foiled once in a while, but that still left quite a bit of time to fool around with before curfew... Maybe now would be a good time to exchange books at the library? This time, without Porygon causing a ruckus! Evening outline: 1) Return to campus, head to Dorms. 2) Acquire library books. 3) Proceed to Library; return books.

When Trista goes to the dorm, the first thing she notices is the silence. There’s a note on the kitchen counter saying that Anna and Adora went to see Yuki, Chaika, and Lyn in their contest. Elizabeth is sitting quietly on the couch reading a book, her Litwick seeming to have made a home in the fire, keeping the room nice and toasty. She doesn’t seem to notice Trista at all, she just continues reading her book. It is now 8 PM!

It was really, really tempting to startle Elizabeth, but it seemed almost too mean to spook the girl, Trista thought. Not to mention, trying to do that too often would make her predictable! And, it'd be a shame to disturb the tranquil atmosphere for a cheap laugh...
So as not to disturb Elizabeth, Trista quietly makes her way to her room without offering a greeting, to pick up that Porygon book she'd found. After that, it was on to the Library. Maybe if she hurried back, she could hear Vess recount her successful challenge to the others? She kind of wanted to see how they would all react to a dorm-mate getting a Badge, and so soon at that!

In the library, there are quite a few students already milling about. There’s also a few people in the line Trista gets in to talk to the librarian and return her books. Eventually she reaches the front, and Mr. Adams looks up from his computer.
“May I help y-Oh! Miss Umbra! It’s nice to see you. How have you liked Olmia so far?” He asks.

After quickly dismissing the idea of ignoring Mr. Adams' question, Trista answered, "It's been very nice, Sir. Actually, I'd have to say it was even better than the tour made it out to be." She felt... somewhat dissatisfied with that answer, though, and added a weak, "...Guess I liked it more than I thought?"
With a mild frown, she hands over the Porygon Care book to the librarian. Then waits awkwardly, unsure if Mr. Adams had anything else to say...

Mr. Adams smiles. “That’s wonderful!” He takes the book, and after scanning it back in, he looks back up. “Do you need anything else?”

" Mmm... I don't think so, Sir.", Trista replies. Then hurries off to look for some new reading material, having held up the line more than enough. That said, she wasn't sure what to check for next... A care guide for Grimer or Castform might be nice, or maybe a manual on reasoning with Pokemon that don't want to listen to their Trainer? She supposed it was pretty embarrassing to not have a firm grasp on her own team, but maybe that would help? It was worth a shot, at least... Perception, for book finding. Prioritizing something that deals with Pokemon controlling. Be it Charming, Intimidating or What-have-you. K|5yDek42d6 2d6

In the “Pokemon Care” section, Trista easily finds what she’s looking for. There’s quite a few copies left of a book titled “Unruly Pokemon and How to Charm Them.” It seems to be about better controlling and commanding your Pokemon. If you choose to check it out, “Unruly Pokemon and How to Charm Them” is a Study Manual that gives a Skill Stunt in Charm for (Convincing Pokemon).

Although unsure if the number of copies meant the book was so popular the library ordered a surplus, or so useless everyone else avoided it, the book still looked like what she needed! Grabbing a copy, Trista takes it to the checkout and proceeds back to the Girl's Dorm. If it was just Elizabeth still, that would make it a perfect study period, after all. Taking the book, going to the Dorm.
I can't remember if you preferred these action summaries?

Returning back to the dorm, Trista sees she was correct with her assumption that Elizabeth would be the only one there. She’s still sitting on the couch, but this time the fire is slightly dimmer, as her Litwick is cuddled up next to her. It’s a bit of an odd cuddle as it’s in the crook of her knees while Elizabeth lays down, still engrossed in a book.

Since Elizabeth wasn't... the chattiest even at the best of times, and Trista didn't particularly mind the quiet, since it would probably get way louder very soon, now seemed like as good a time as any to get started on reading that book! While she was at it, why not see how long she could remain unnoticed for, too? Carefully, Trista takes a seat somewhere very easy for Elizabeth to see, if she were to actually look up from her book, and begins to read her own... At least until someone more lively arrives. Attempting to Bind the Study Manual, though I expect there isn't enough time for it.
Also attempting to remain unnoticed by Elizabeth and her Litwick, just for fun. Stealth? yb|PusCR4d6 4d6

After going up a few flights of stairs, Trista arrives at the fourth floor. A few students are about, mostly heading to the rec rooms, but the few offices are quiet. The few people that are about don't seem to notice Trista at all. Outside each one of them is an electronic lock needing a keycard or a number. Aside from the name placards on each door, nothing else is obvious upon first glance.

After a cursory check to make sure she was below the attention of her peers, Trista concluded happily that they were paying her no mind. This suited her just fine, really! Now, she was free to take her time looking around. First, she had to find the office in question. Wasting time when it mattered would be no good at all... Anyways, after she had confirmed the location of the important office, there wouldn't be much else to do up here. She couldn't very well leave right away, though, how suspicious would that be? Never knew if someone was watching after all. No, once she had scoped out the location, she would look for a nice window to sit under for a while. Maybe she would use the time to see if Porygon could send a message to Vess before class... Actions: Find Target office. Find an out-of-the-way window. Convince Porygon to send a message. (Contents not yet determined)
Perception: j53vszWy2d6 Charm?: 2d6 ...Wait. Could a Porygon even do all that? Sure, they were pretty smart, but this one didn't seem to get complex orders. Or, well, orders in general. Just fooling about.PokeEdu: 2d6 Pory's TechEdu: 4d6 2d6·2d6·2d6·4d6

Trista easily spots the target office by looking at the nameplates on the doors. The biggest office bears the name “Elite Four and Head Coordinator.” She spots a window at the end of the hall as well. After taking out Porygon and thinking a bit, she realizes she has no idea whether Porygon could actually find a number and send a message. It does seem a bit more eager to help though, at least compared to normally.

"...Okay, so, i-if you want to be useful, I need you to find her number. Err, Vess' number. Only hers. And, if you can do that, I'll, umm. Let me know, and I'll give you a message or something. So... can you do all that, Porygon?" Trista asks of the confusing, tricky tech-y Pokemon. If it didn't look like the pesky Pory had found the right number...or at least, a number...?
Well, it wasn't like they wouldn't meet up soon anyways. Since things were better safe than outed, Trista was going to make sure the letter was going to the right person before she even wrote it. All she could do for now was see if Porygon could even do the thing... Now why was this so much harder than just taking care of them?

Porygon makes a bit of an unsure noise, but dives into Trista’s dex all the same. A few different windows pop open and scroll quickly downward. Eventually, a number is highlighted and pasted into the “To:” box of a new message.

He actually did it? Cool..., was Trista's reaction when the Porygon did what was asked. That left her with a pretty big problem, though; coming up with a message...
Addressing the Dex-dwelling Pokemon, Trista finally says, "...Alright, you ready? Type: 'Hello Vess, its me, Trista.' Hmm, maybe I should ask how her plans with that singer-girl are going, might be ni-", then cuts off her own tangent with a hasty, "Wait, you aren't typing that last bit?", ignoring that she could... probably see on the display. Or correct it, if she really needed to.
"Ugh, why'd he have to ask me? Okay, okay... Umm, after the pleasantries, say, 'I was hoping we could meet up before next class, if that's alright with you? Oh, but if you can't, I guess we can talk after.' There, that should...?", she instructs, trailing off after the next line. Realizing she had forgotten, arguably, the most important part, she adds, "Wait! Don't send it yet, first say, 'Don't return that book he showed us at lunch, I really wanted to check it out first, okay?' Can, can we like, emphasize or- y'know, never mind, that should work."

On the screen, Trista can see the following message:
The Pokedex happily vibrates and beeps.
