"... Before we head out too far..." Freya began, looking agitated and restless, her wings flexing and folding. "It's possible this was a flight of fantasy, or even simply exhaustion from everything that's happened before... but I fear someone may be observing all of us."
"Something strange happened last night, when the rest of you were sleeping. Some kind of magic from... I couldn't say if it was a man or not. All I know is that it seemed especially fond of Frank at the time. Seemed to know more about him than any of the rest of us do. You wouldn't happen to be familiar with ethereal, magic wielding spirits, would you?" This she aimed at the man-turned-alligator himself, without a hint of sarcasm or even suspiscion in her voice or face.

"As I said before, magic doesn't exist in my world. Could it be this Handsome Jack fellow, perhaps? I imagine we, and myself in particular left an impression on him. Beyond that, I haven't the foggiest."

"This one was a bit too eloquent. And large. And he didn't seem to have any malicious intent for anyone. He just seemed to... approve of you? And how you've acted thus far."

"The figure observed that you're quick to seize power, and that they're eager to ensure that's kept in check."
"They went on about something else, but than they were away before they could finish. It was quite surreal."
Despite herself, she smiled a mirthless, gentle smile. "I can't I entirely disagree with our phantom in at least that second point."

"I'm simply eager to be home, as I imagine you are as well. We may differ in our methods, but I trust we all have the same goal. These visions you had...perhaps it is best to put them out of your mind."

As Freya reveals why her feathers are ruffled, Midna begins to take on some unease of her own. Maybe that Poe wasn't a Poe. She'd kept a close eye out the rest of her watch but whatever the light she had seen was had never reappeared. She thought she'd just imagined its clanking but if it wasn't a Poe....
"Ghosts don't tend to give help to the living willingly, " Midna says guardedly, "It might be trying to cause some strife. For laughs." She fails to mention anything about Freya's observation, still not sure what to make of the crocodile. Midna tries to shake off, quite literally, a bit of the unease, "Right any other low light lowlifes? No? Good, let's get off this island."

Listening patiently to the recounting of the not-so-exciting tales of yesternight, Hura plodded along, idly wondering if the Bunny was keeping her own experience a secret. Or, if she'd had as restful and invigorating a night! Either way, not like they'd say so, and it wasn't because of the silent treatment this time!
While not intimately familiar with spirits, much less ghosts, he wasn't completely uninformed. That said, if it were up to that particular bug, they wouldn't ever, ever, ever have to deal with something that came back to life. That was how the living died, and in this body, even his own invulnerability was... suspect. But anyways, the talk of returning souls didn't sit well with him, and Frank's suggestion was a welcome one. Out of his mind it went! As if...
Eager to break his silence, as well as the talk of ghosts, Hura piped up then, "Ha, haha, I wasn't even prowling around last night. Oh well. The kitty is right, we should get going~ We all think the mountain is still our best option, ye~es? Good! That just leaves one. Little. Thing..."
Waddling forward, quite a bit faster, only to spin around until he stopped in a... Chell-ish direction, Hura continued, "My friends, I don't claim to know what those potions are, or why they're important, but my friend Frank was right, and you're all especially forgetful this morning. Unless our bunny-friend wants to claim she fought off all those spiders by herself (I would so love to hear that story, I really would~) it would be best if we divide those supplies up. So... How many even are there? Lemme see...!" That last statement wasn't actually coupled with trying to see the supplies. Mostly because the bunny was pretty fast, and scaring her off wouldn't get them anywhere. So, it was just a particularly active request for now.

Chell doesn't really get involved in the other's conversation, at this point in time their constant nattering was starting to get on her nerves, and besides, she had no clue what they're going on about anyway.
When Hura tries to do ... whatever it is Hura does, she simply ignores him, feeling there probably isn't a much better way to annoy the gibbering bug at the moment (constantly pushing him over gets old fast). She still isn't planning on handing over anything. She was the one that found those medicine, damnit!

Frank approaches Hura and lowers his voice so that it is only clearly audible to his new insectoid friend, although if the others on the ground strain they could hear him as well, as he isn't deliberately trying to obscure his voice too hard. "Although I agree with you that this Chell has been quite selfish, with the trees, yelling up at her to return the supplies to the group will be an exercise in futility. The thing is, we're headed towards a mountain, and very few mountains have significant forests. I'm sure you're on the same page with me? When we leave the forest, we can have a chat with Chell about her behavior." In a much louder voice, he concludes, "That sound agreeable to everyone?"

"Eh, I guess so. Woulda liked to hear her defense, but... Yeah..." After that, Hura didn't have much to say, and so settled back into plodding along. It wouldn't do to be too much of a nuisance, after all. Especially if those Guardians were as tough as whatshisface from before had said... Well, they would see soon enough!

And the subject of the medicine was brought up again. Why couldn't it have rested last night? Stubborn rabbit! She didn't care as long as the argument didn't slow them down. Well at least as far as who actually was in charge of the lot. She wasn't going to hear the end of this. Her tiny feline teeth grind.
She reaches out to the rabbit intent in convincing her to part ways with something of her hoard. {Look, I don't care about the medicine but, unless you want those two idiots nattering until we get home, give in. It doesn't even have to be half. Just something to shut them up.} Her annoyance bleeds over but who knows what else she accidentally imparts. Concern or curiosity perhaps.

Chell glares at Frank and Hura as the two conspire. You have to wonder if they realise I could just as easy leave them with the medicine in tow... I've survived on my own plenty, I can manage...
She turns her glare on Midna, but soon sighs as her face falls. "I know, I know. It's just... He doesn't have the effing right to boss me around like that and I refuse to let anyone control me any longer!" She mentally says, getting heated up as she 'speaks'.

Midna winces slightly at the sudden burst of anger. She couldn't fault the girl for being a bit paranoid. Frank's demeanor was a bit chaffing. Still he wasn't the biggest problem they were facing at the moment. She continues to face ahead while they're walking, {Deal with him however you want. I just want to get out of here because... Sticking together gives us the best chance. Annoying someone used to power spells nothing but trouble.... We'll need to tread carefully}

Chell shrugs at Midna's words, before frowning slightly. "You know, I think I disagree with you there... it might be better to knock him down a peg, show him that he isn't the one in power any longer. This attitude of him is gonna get him, and by assocation anyone with him, in trouble at some point. With me, for example..." She shrugs again, before smirking slightly "And well, if he gets out of control, I've dealt with tyrants before, and it isn't really like that gibbering bug makes for much of a powerbase."

She can't quite fully disagree with Chell's assessment. He'd nearly gotten them into an unnecessary fight with that Masked Man. It might have just been a heroic gesture, Link certainly would have stopped the tyrant. {Point taken. I still think we'd be better off watching and waiting. It might be he's not recovered from his transition here.} They could distrust each other as much as they wanted as long as it helped getting home.

Unknown to Chell, Midna sees a light similar to the night before appear behind Chell, and slowly seems to move toward it.
The 'poe' is here!

As Midna sneaks a glance at Chell to see how she takes it, she notices the jarringly familiar light. {Behind you!} Even as she thinks these words to the rabbit, she's sending out a burst of energy at the sneaky light. Surprisingly it actually works this time, not just a anemic push like on the bugs and giants. She doesn't know what a Poe is doing in broad daylight but it wouldn't be enjoying the sun for long. Whatever the light was, it gives a high-pitched EEP! as it gets blasted, and hides behind one of the nearby trees.

At the sound of a new voice, Frank stops talking to Hura and joins Midna and Freya to stare up at the unwelcome visitor in the trees and her new incorporeal friend.
