With wide eyes Ghost quickly rushed forward, a frantic look on her face as she quickly flew up to get a better look at the sizzling bird. "Omigosh, i-is she alright!? I didn't mean to hit her that hard!" She started, quickly leaning down... and sighing in utter relief at the fact she could see little heaves of breath still coming through her.
"Phew, she's still alive... Ahh~," she muttered in relief... only for her attention to turn towards the silver beetle approaching the group. "Umm... Excuse me, friend...? I have a couple questions for you. What's your name, and what exactly were you before showing up here?" She asked, her curiosity honestly getting the better of her. She hoped she didn't take offense... but honestly, the silver beetles way of speaking wasn't exactly... well, ordinary. She quietly hoped she wasn't stepping on her toes or anything by asking it like that, but she had a slight hunch...

"Ha-HAH! What a setup, what a knockout! What--" His attention turns from victory celebrations, down to Mrs. Norris and her trade offer. "--the heck are you on about?"
He hasn't yet risen from the ground, so his face is quite on the Aron's level, chin to the ground. "It's, uh, not my bird. I mean sure I set it up real good but it wasn't even my finishing blow -- Wait, no? That's not it? You wanna trade the bird to ME? What makes you think I got snacks, kid."
The Blastoise rises to his feet again, some toasty feathers sliding off his shell. "I just got dropped into this part of town. Against my will and such. I sure didn't pack a lunch."
He glances to Ghost, then back to Mrs. Norris. "Yeah. You from here, or you from someplace else, like me and Sparky and the fish?"
Back to the Rotom, flashing a proud grin. "That was great, by the way, Sparky. Sure didn't waste your golden opportunity! You a fighter, wherever you come from?"

*Norris looks up at the ghost wide-eyed and curious. She spits out a few feathers and spends several minutes in incredibly deep thought before producing the longest series of words in any of her many lives.*
"Norris is hunter. Hunted secrets, rats. Inside. Had ghosts, wizards, students, filch."
*The silver creature expresses exhaustion with her expression - from the hard run, from the changes, from the words. She proceeds to whine shrilly*
"Snack!"
*Norris wears a dramatically unhappy expression*
"Really hungry."

"Alright! Alright. We'll look for food soon. Just don't make that noise." The Koopa looks to and fro, along the cliff and the nearby woods, and the wild sea in the distance. "But we gotta figure out how to get back, too. I mean unless you like this island, but it's a little Perfect Storm for my tastes." He's never seen that movie. He's going purely off the name.
Bowser turns toward the collapsed vulture. Tempted to give it a kick. "What're we doing with the birdbrain? Leave it here? Or you gonna turn it into chicken dinner? I mean hey, I like drumsticks as much as the next guy. If you're gonna anyway, I mean."

Ghost would've responded to Bowser's statement about how she'd definitely seen some combat, but the sudden outburst from Norris was definitely the center of her attention. She was able to parse through some of her statements, but... She was saying she was a hunter of some kind and... rats? No, she couldn't be...
"Alrighty Norris, I think a great hunter like you deserves a reward after warning us about that big bad bird," She said happily as she gently rested her plasma-arms against the bottom half of the core of her body. I mean, Bowser seemed to be something other than a human if the way he was talking was anything to go by... and what would be a hunter of mice other than a cat? Especially one that was so insistent... "Sadly we don't have anything to munch on with us, so we're probably gonna have to go on a little hunting ourselves. Do you think you can sniff something out? And while we're out there, maybe we'll find some new friends who'll have some snacks!" She enthused, grinning.
She also directed something a little bit quieter towards Bowser. "Also let's not. The ethics of eating something that we could hold a conversation with aside, I'm pretty sure the longer we stay here the longer your Peach is out there, potentially alone and scared. I think we should get going, wouldn't you say, your gnarliness?" She suggested.

Ryota winces a bit when the bird just gets fried. He's glad he let go of her before the electric shock got conducted through her body to him, at least. He flops on the ground, staring at her. "...she's still alive?" he asks. "I'm pretty sure she shouldn't have survived a shock like that!" He doesn't have any particular opinion on whether this is good or bad, although he supposes he can understand Ghost's relief about not having killed her. Even if she was just a bird, she could still talk...
"We should get further away from here anyways," he says. "Since those rodents mentioned finding a 'boss' or something like that. We had the advantage in numbers this time, after all." He clacks his jaws together. "Well, we'll have to eat something eventually," he says. "And I'm pretty sure this new form of mine is made to eat meat."

Bowser eyes Ghost with skepticism while watching her talk to Norris. He leans in toward the floating one. "Why're you babying her?" he asks in a... whisper? Was that a whisper? His voice's so rumbly.
Straightening back up, Bowser glances with concern over to the storm that serves as their ever-present backdrop. He sets his fists on his hips and scknowledges Ghost's... well, her pandering, honestly, with a slight grin. It works. "Yeah, stickin' around here ain't doin' any favours. Let's move out! Where we headed? We gonna push through those trees? Try to get to the ocean at the bottom of this cliff? I mean, if Chompers over here wants to get away from the rats, they came from the trees over there, so. That would leave the ocean, right?" he ponders aloud. "Might be fish there to eat? Oh, wait, you are a fish. Uh. Well, you're a pretty toothy fish. D'ya eat other fish? Like a..." He looks the other direction, and tries to snap his claws, attempting to happen upon the word he wants. "Like a, I dunno, like if a Piranha Plant were a fish instead of a plant. Can't for the life of me think of what that'd be."
He straightens up again, already angry with himself for getting off track. "Whatever! Point bein'! Let's get off this cliff in one direction or another!"

*Norris struts deliberately at the praise*
"Great hunter Norris will find the prizes! Pack can follow and share."
Norris like this. Never hunted with full pack fore. So much respect for her experience, awe of her power, so much they follow her on hunt for eats and prizes! Norris is.. I am...... finally pack leader! wow!

Ghost gave a light grin at the way Norris seemed to glow at her praise, before lightly floating over to the big turtle so she could whisper a bit into his ear. "I'm getting the feeling she was something a little more feral before coming here... either that or a tribal, but I'm more leaning towards the former"
At Norris's proclamation though Ghost quickly sprung in to action! Ryota probably wouldn't be able to move that well given his position, so with her tendrils she (testingly at first, to confirm they wouldn't shock him or anything) grabbed a hold of him and... fell flat on her face as he didn't budge an inch...
"... Umm, a little help please?" She asked Bowser, her face full of dirt.
Letting him go, she quickly took off after the silver beetle, not wanting to lose track of her given her pace. Hopefully her electric-look would help the others keep track of them... And as she focused on her glowing quality, her form just glowed all the brighter. "... Huh, nifty," She said with a grin.

"Gruuh! So much for the seaside." the Koopa grunts, exasperated at the Aron's running off. It's almost as if his careful considerations weren't appreciated! A little exasperated at his assigned task too, but he'll deal. He breaks into a jog, or what is closest to a jog for a heavy turtle, stooping on his way by to grab Ryota by the tail. He holds the Carvanha firmly by the tail in his fist, so he won't be dropped as Bowser tromps after the ladies. He has to pick his path carefully if the trees are close together, given how wide and solidly he's built. He would not fit between any tree trunks closer together than a meter. He might have to wind left and right, a bit awkward when catching up to Norris's pace.

Mrs Norris - You head into the forest once again, trying to be stealthy but noting that your new pack isn't so much. The ghost seems to be glowing and the big turtle is trumbling along loudly. Well... at least you will be fine.
After a moment you get that scent again, but this time a bit stronger. The smell of a treat! Now you've got a clear lock on it, it's to your southeast.

!!!! Norris is invigorated by delicious smell! Even better than she remembered! wow! She lithely slips round bush and under tree, trying to keep her new shiny flesh covered with vegetation as she hurries southeast to fill her stomach with delicious food! Her legs move many times faster to go not nearly as fast as she once could but no matter, she stalks her prey eyes wide and full of promised treat.

Mrs Norris - You head south east toward the smell, and after maybe 20 or so minutes of searching you come across a bit of brighter section of the forest. There's a hole in the roof of the leaves. And the smell is coming from what's in front of you. A hole in the ground, maybe 50 feet across, with blackened edges.
Curious.

The rotom gave her larger friend an apologetic grin as he caught up. Honestly, things were just going a bit too fast to consider going towards the ocean... and besides, she wasn't really comfy leaving their fishy friend all by himself out in the water. Considering the creatures they saw thus far... she didn't even want to think about what could be in the ocean. And before long... the group did find something. What looked like a rather deep hole. " Don't see that every day..." She muttered as she gazed out over the rather large hole. What in the world could've made something like this? What's more, she was feeling... Ghost - You really can't tell anything about the area other than just what you see, unless you directly peer in. But what you see tells you enough for you to consider the fact that there's an almost perfect match of the opening in the tree canopy that matches the size of the hole EXTREMELY suspect.

*Norris hops a few centimeters off of the ground as she scurries around in circles gleefully*
what do what do what do food in hole! too big to be well, must be fine must be fine must be delicious!
*Norris brushes against her friends as they begin to catch up with her, humming a low metallic purr*
*Norris takes a running start and leaps several centimeters forward into the hole before dropping like a sack of... steel plates. She doesn't expect to drop so quickly, but she manages to gets her feet under her before she strikes the ground with a loud thump, licks herself clean, and looks around.*

Mrs. Norris - The hole is fairly deep (Maybe 20 feet) but your strange new body and innate instinct save you from being hurt. And it doesn't take a whole lot to see stuff in the hole. And the smell at this point is almost overpowering. Although there's about an equal of a smell of burnt dirt. You see weird splotches in the dirt of this hole that are fist-sized and a bit shiny in places. There's also some disturbed dirt in the center of the floor, like something was buried.
You focus your nose and those shiny things are the good-smelling objects. That's for sure.

Hey, Bowser was told to "follow," he didn't hear anything about being stealthy. Forgive him for being a big guy. Anyway, he seems fairly straight-faced (focusing on his weaving) at Ghost's apologetic expression, so apparently this doesn't rank too high on the bug-Bowser scale.
However, this is taking WAY too long. Bowser's running out of steam for the last part of that 20 minute travel through the forest, lagging behind the other two. It makes his footsteps more quiet, at the very least.
He doesn't fall too far behind, thankfully, and arrives slightly winded at the hole with the others. "What... what's this?" he asks, catching his breath. Walking to the edge of the hole (and putting Ryota down if he wants to be put down), Bowser peers, noticing the blackened edges of the earth's cut-out. "Huh. What's this, some giant fireball hole?"
His head turns toward Norris. "The food's down there? How--" But, she's already leapt off the edge. The surprised turtle watches her fall -- and land. "Huh. Pretty smooth landing for a metal paperweight." he says to himself, before turning the volume up, bellowing into the hole. "What's down there?" While waiting for her report, he tries to eyeball the depth of the hole, now that he can see her sunlight-glinting armour as a reference point for the bottom.

Yum! Yum! Yum! Norris scoffs her fill of the shiny crunchy snacks! what a success this was!
*Harsh, metallic crunches echo out of the hole*
As Norris finish her munching she calls up -
"Crunchy snacks here! Careful! Big jumpin!"
Once she calls up to her pack, Norris realizes the situation she has gotten herself into.and cries shrilly, pacing the hole looking for a way out
