"Oh, well, of course I can fight!" Hanna said, brightening, "Before I even joined th' Knights I used to have to shoo wolves and mountain lions away from my village every once in a while. Once I even helped a caravan with some bandits though mostly all I'm good for is bein' too stubborn to back down." She laughed, and shook Ovelia's hand heartily, her grip firm. "Haven't done anythin' as an official Knight yet though. First they wanted to make sure my form was all proper 'n well for my lance and shield since I'm self-taught before this." She reached back and patted the heavy metal shield on her back with a thonk.
"This is my first official assignment as a knight though. I can't believe I'm already defendin' someone's honor!" Hannah seemed unusually excited at the prospect.

With a nod from Sans he answered the question, "All jokes aside, These two are new recruits. Both of them at least 16, and able to join the order. Your group was just sent out to do missions first. We had a couple people like Arden, Hannah, and Jelena here hang back and practice."
With a chuckle Sans noted, "I'm pretty sure the evidence as to why is rather Blinding. It's flashing you, I'm pretty sure you're magically aware already as to why."
"These though are the conditions of the duel. We're going to have to make do. So don't get so tied up in a knight. Everything will end with you guys looking Heroic."
It was clear that Sans was smirking himself, poking just a little bit of Fun at Jelena.

"If she is really 16 I think I'm even more worried that a 16 year old made that kind of intro..." Ovelia mumbled. So, a mage that could make flashes of light...how useful. And one who thought she was some kind of book character and felt the need to act over the top and foolishly.
This of course assumed Sans wasn't an idiot and hadn't been tricked by the girl. "Well...no matter. We can afford two more losses." She said waving a hand. "The rest of us will just have to try harder." She said. "Luckily Hannah seems to have some experience and the rest of us have fought plenty of times so hopefully it'll just be one more loss."

Jelenna's eye twitches as the praise doesn't come, murmurs are whispered, weird looks given, and the rudest of all, this Ovelia was the snarky one. These lower beings always seemed to do that. She wasn't gonna stay quiet about this offense! She then quickly points at Ovelia with great flourish, and looks at her sideways. "Believing this to be a game is the quickest journey to the end of your life! You also seem to fail to realize my ability to simply fight...hmph. One step closer.....At least you do recognize my title as 'Master of Light,' but that is where you make another mistake! I'm also 'Master of Everything Pure!' Recall, I am Jelenna Kirah, Master of Light, and Everything Pure! I am a controller of Pure Type pokemon, and don't you forget it!"
She then lets out a 'hmph,' and crosses her arms to listen to the girl beside her. Not too long after, she grinds her teeth as this girl gets more of a reaction then her! "Really!? This one!? She's nothing but a country bumpkin! She couldn't even tie her boots! What girl is that tall!? Who has that many muscles!? She looked like she just crawled out of the dirt itself! This was the one to receive even a 'Hello'!?.........She was the one who did get her hat back when those imbeciles took it during training....or that time she ate with her when no one would sit next to her in the dining hall.....or that time they actually had a conversation about living in small villages....." After a few moments of glaring at Hannah, she eventually has a neutral expression, and she nods in approvment. Hannah will be a great side-character in Jelenna's great story.
She then taps her foot as Hannah, Sans, and Ovelia speak up. She points her staff at Sans. "You! Every time I see you, you always have some kind of joke! While you make a fabulous comic relief in my tale, I can't take it anymore! Puns!? UGHGH!!!" She waves around the staff haphazardly, but then points it at Ovelia. "....You....Why so quick to be foolish? Huh!? You think this country bu-.....Hannah...is more likely to win then me!? HA! Seems I have to shine brilliant light into the eyes of the blind once more....Sans! Battles! I wish to fight those Rainbow fools!"

Sans noted, "These are your teammates for the match tommorow, I've given them the information. Figured you guys might want to get acquainted. Figure out battle plans or strategies."
"Anyways. Get some good rest guys. I'll see you all in the morning." Sans told them. He started his gait out of the cafateria, leaving the members of the group alone with one another.

Ovelia rubs her temple as the girl begins her rant again. Even worse, Sans had now left. "I'm not calling you that." Ovelia said at the insistence of Master of Everything Pure. "And you had to have lied to Sans. How old are you really? Twelve? Fourteen?" She asked crossing her arms, DEFINITELY not believing the girls age was sixteen. "And there is no such thing as 'pure type'." Ovelia said rolling her eyes wondering what type of magic this weirdo thought was 'pure type'. She was over the top and crazy...fairy maybe? It would explain the eye burning pink. "And yes. I'm definitely convinced Lady Rust is far more likely to win and not be a detriment to the team because she doesn't seem to think this is a fantasy novel." Ovelia said before looking at the others.
"Well I was hoping this would be quick and we could get to the party, but I suppose we should talk plans." Ovelia said with a sigh, not looking forward to what would most likely be constant interrupting and childish behavior during the plans. "Hannah, what type of magic do you use?" She asked. "I'm electric, Mael is dark, and the not-as-big-a-idiot is flying." She commented. "Not sure if Sans mentioned, but we're up against fighting, electricity, grass, water, and dragon. Their most skilled fighters are dragon and fighting apparently." Ovelia explained. "The score is 1-1, so we need to win at least three of the remaining five fights." She commented.

Jelenna's cheeks redden as Ovelia mocks her appearance. She then interjects loudly before poor Hannah can speak up. She flails her arms, and throws a 12 year old tantrum. "I'll have you know I'm 16! SIX! TEEEEENN! What are you!? You look 40!! And, Pure type is the only type that matters! Simplton, forgettable filler characters like you refer to them as...ugh...'Normal...' We can choose what to fight, right!? Gimme that...uhh...umm..the water one! Yeah! I'll destroy them in a shower of brilliant light!" Her whole body moves, as she breathes heavily with her arms and legs stretched out.

Hannah laughed at Jelenna, though in a friendly way that seemed like she maybe thought Jelenna was being over expressive on purpose for amusement. She gave the smaller girl a cheerful slap on the back. "That's the spirit, we should get all riled up an' excited for tomorrow so we do our best!" It wasn't clear whether she was purposely trying to move the conversation along, or honestly believed that Jelenna's grandstanding was an attempt to lift spirits.
"I use rock magic, though I've got more elbow grease than magic." Hanna flexed her arm, showing off her bicep a little. "Plow Plow's got a little earth magic too. Oh, Plow Plow's my construct! I guess I'm kinda in a bad position in that I got a disadvantage 'gainst grass, water an' fightin'. Though we can take punches pretty well even with a bit of a disadvantage."
Hannah paused a moment to let someone else speak up, but then mentioned, "But... don' we only get t' pick half the battles? They're gonna be pickin' stuff good against us if they get th' chance too. Don' we have to take that into account when we pick someone tomorrow?"

Ovelia sighed as the girl threw a temper-tantrum, "Sure you are. Ok." She said at the age thing not feeling like addressing that. Though the forty comment brought a slight annoyance to her face before she quickly pushed it back. The girl was childish and children couldn't tell age... She didn't REALLY look forty.
At the remarks of filler and simpleton, Ovelia again pushed it aside as ramblings of a child. "Yeaaaaah... Ok normal type. So incomplete magic." She commented though she raised an eyebrow at the water comment. "Wow, and here I thought a tough hero would want to challenge their best people." Ovelia said, "Not one of their normal, non-veterans...Truly a most brave hero we have."
She looked over at Hannah, "Yes, the alternate is going to be a pain. I'm thinking our best bet would be to look at avoiding weaknesses more than trying to hit theirs, though it we can achieve both great." Ovelia remarked.
"So the first thing we need to note is who we are going to be weak against. If someone has a lot of weaknesses, slipping them in during our calls should be best because we can get them out the way without them sniping us." She suggested. "So, I would be resisted by electricity, dragon, and grass. However, the electricity would be a bad match up for them as well. So, that's a possibility, though not encouraged. Mael is weak against the fighting and that's it. As long as someone else targets the fighting he is mostly fine, though due to pokemon avoiding electricity would be a good secondary. Niyol would be weak against the electricty and that's it. His pokemon especially. You already mentioned you having a disadvantage against grass, water, and fighting. So electricity and dragon is about all we should aim you at. Ideally electricity, but if they call either we should probably pick you. And our 'hero' is normal so...I mean, whatever. I guess anyone other than fighting, but unless we just want to accept she'll lose anyways and burn one of their strong units it doesn't matter much." Ovelia commented.
"In summary, if they pick electric or dragon, we should call Hannah so she doesn't have a bad matchup. Other than that we can pick 'ideal scenarios' but making sure we don't our weaknesses paired is safest. Depending on who they pick first fluctuates our first choice. If they pick electricity, dragon, or fighting our options up a lot more. Considering that's three of their five openers that's pretty good. If electricity, Hannah can fight them and from that point on Niyol is a safe pick for us to present. If they pick fighting, we can use myself or Niyol, after which Mael or the little hero is a safe pick. If they pick dragon, we can get Hannah out the way, but we lack a safe pick and it comes down to lessening our weaknesses, so possibly myself since my pokemon is just as skilled with non-lightning attacks as they are with lightning and I can target a trainer quickly."
She paused, "So first order of priority is only use Hannah if they send out a type we feel she can beat. Second priority is try to eliminate the electricity and the fighting so we have more safe picks. The water should be their easiest, which is probably why our hero wanted them, as they only pose a threat to Hannah."

Niyol hid the trouble smile that appeared on his lips with one hand as the 'Master of Light' came to a close in her introduction but was unable to prevent a laugh from escaping when Mael asked him to end his life. Confidentially Niyol murmur to Mael in an imploringly tone, "Aye, but only if ye return the favor. Think how bad it would be for me to be left all alone with these ladies." Niyol faked a shiver and gave Mael a wink and a friendly pat on his shoulder before returning his attention to the other recruit finding her a much more normal girl, refreshing even.
Letting Oveila take the lead since she seem to have a lot she wanted to say, half of which seem like legit Knight issues and the other half Oveila's personal issues, Niyol leaned back in the air floating a good 2 feet off the ground as he waits for Oveila to finish. When Oveila addressed Niyol as the not-as-big-of-an-idiot, Niyol dramatically rolled his eyes before giving the newcomers a friendly smile and wink in greeting although he wasn't technically introduced.
After Oveila gave her plan for the group strategies, Niyol straightens touching back down on land. "Aye, I knew we could trust ye to make the best strategies for the duel tomorrow, Oveila, and this sounds like an excellent one. But ye are trying to rile up our newest members much too much. It's good to motivate them but don't degrade them before they even have the chance to prove themselves. They might be knights in name only but their story only just begone." Niyol lightly reprimand Oveila for her consistent snarkiness before turning to the new recruits.
"We apologize for Oveila. I don't think she've even said an honest nice thing to us since the day we all join the guild together." At this Niyol qurk a brow toward Mael as if to ask if that was true to his knowledge as well until Niyol realized he have yet to be properly introduced. "Ah, my name is Niyol Eyvinder, by the way. I'm a Wind Mage like Oveila said. Welcome to the guild."
Niyol gave the newcomer a friendly smile as he introduced himself. Niyol was only a little shorter than Hannah although he looks 'long' for a lack of a better word. Niyol stood casually yet almost glamorously with his brocaded navy blue jacket covered in swirls of stitched gold thread which complimented his golden locks. Where there was jewels and gold however there was sign of wear and tear upon the young man's clothes. Underneath his jacket, was a simple black v-neck shirt and his black slacks, wear thin about the knees, were tucked into a pair of boots, that had seen better days but was obviously well cared for. His hair while a lovely gold color was badly cut with short stands of hair in the front with the rest of it long in the back and tied neatly in a braid over his shoulder.
A dewdrop green gemstone hangs from his right ear and looks that it should belong to a girl and badge with a pair of wings was on pinned to his lapel. But the most noticeable of all was the large leather eye patch that covers his left. A kind of symbolic eye was stitched into the patch with a large green emerald used to represent the iris. At his side was seemly an ordinary knife and cutlass.

"Hey!" Ovelia said annoyed at the remark about not saying anything nice. That made her sound rude or bitchy! "I'll point out I've offered to help smith you weapons and saved you our first mission." She said with a frown, "And I got injured aiding you with your women problems."

Jelenna mumbles and grumbles at the foolish comments of this quite rude and bitchy woman. "I don't expect someone like you to grasp the grandness of my magic. And, I can take on any opponent I want! I was being considerate of Hannah's weaknesses. You want me to put myself in a rough situation? HA! Don't think to hard. You might hurt yourself, Grandma!" She crosses her arms, turns around, and reluctantly listens to Ovelia's breakdown of the situation. At least she could form a plan.
She then turned around as the other man began speaking. She smirked at his words, and she flicked the tip of her hat. With a boisterous laugh, "Haha! Good to know not all of you are as foolish as that one!" She put a finger on her chin, closed her eyes, and nodded at Niyol's words. This man just may be good enough to earn a footnote in the grand story. That was quite a feat. Jelenna liked this one. Anyone who could shut down that rude woman, and pull off a snazzy eye patch like her own was worth being noted.
With her staff resting on her shoulders, Jelenna rocks back and forth as others talk strategy. "So...If were are done here, I'm ready to get some sleep. You all can keep talking, but I'll be ready for anything tomorrow." She turns and makes her way out of the room. "Night!" She then makes her way to her room in the basement which was the farthest room she could get. People didn't want to sleep by the loud girl with bright magic, so she obliged by making it her domain.
Upon reaching it, she changed into PJs, and flopped onto the bed. She only spent a little bit with the new people but it felt like 5 years. That woman Ovelia was a pain, and that other man in black surely muttered things under his breath. He was dumb too. But at least Niyol was competent, and Hannah was there. They were cool. Her eyes eventually grew heavy, and she began dozing off. "I'm...gonna shine...tomorrow....stupid...Grand..ma....zzzzzzzzz"

Ovelia rubbed her temple at the idiot girl. "Well...that should at least give us a general idea for the plan tomorrow." Ovelia said with a sigh. "I'm going to swing by the party and sleep after." She said heading outside to see if Jonathan was around.

The strategist wound down for the night, and Hannah felt like she had at least been a little bit of a help. It was night, and generally she would've been heading for bed but... Hannah had never been to a real big-city party before. Curiosity burned in her. She ventured into The rowdy areas of The Pot and marveled. There was so many people here, and they were all loud and boisterous and having fun. Activities and conversation were stuffed into every bit. Eventually the party overflowed to the outside and Hannah opted to enjoy the great outdoors of Cearus, the chill night air going well with the warm hearts. She drank a little beer, it was much different from the home-brewed stuff from home.
Still, Hannah got to bed at a reasonable hour, intending to not let a little party slow her down. There was more training at dawn to prepare for the duel!

It was a night after Ovelia left to go talk with Johnathan again. A late late night. He convinced her to go out drinking with him last last night, and things were good.
The people were setting up booths and other amenities to sell during the honor combat tomorrow. Having finished the work they needed to, they had brought out drinks and food for everyone to enjoy. Which meant Ovelia and Johnathan were having a nice dinner, and the wine he had purchased had tasted pretty good. It's probably why after the sixth or seventh glass she started having trouble remembering what they were talking about. Though she did remember what Johnathan did for her last night. As some point, some jerks from the party, were trying to make a pass at Ovelia in front of Johnathan. Did they not even notice he was there? Whatever the case was, Johnathan looked gallant as he laid one flat with a punch to the face, bringing her out of the party.
It was with that the night proceeded smoothly. Allowing for each of the members of the Order of the youngest sage to have a good night's sleep.
In the morning, they had time to get up allowing those who needed to, and were nursing a hangover a chance to regain their bearings.
Ovelia notably woke up, and her head was splitting from the hangover pain. She was alone in bed, wearing different clothing than what she had been when she fell asleep.

As she woke up, Ovelia groaned and clenched her head. "Oww... sweet gods what the hell..." She mumbled as her eyes opened, only making the headache worse as she sat up with a groan and looked around the room with a yawn.

As she looked around the room, she noted that Johnathan's armor and pants were on the ground.
As she laid there for a moment, the door to her room opened up, and Johnathan waled in. Wearing only his undershirt and underpants.
"Morning Ovelia." he said, "I come bearing breakfast."
With that he presented to her a tray of oatmeal, eggs, and bacon. As well as some Orange juice enough for two.

Ovelia looks confused at the pants, then up at Jonathan, then at the pants. "Oh...I'm still dreaming." She said laying back down and throwing the covers over herself.

Despite the night of somewhat rowdy fun, Hannah was up at dawn. She had chosen a room with a window, the sun was the best alarm clock after all, and she wanted to be close to both the garden and the outdoor training grounds. The sky was just turning from misty purple to true blue as Hannah tightened the straps on her leather armor and headed out to the large dusty pen with obstacles strewn about to give rough estimates of outdoor challenges for training. Hannah looked upon it, bright eyed and ready to go. "Plow Plow!" Hannah called, and suddenly a weathered and sun bleached tome appeared in her hands, "Ready and rarin'!?"A giant rock plated creature appeared in a burst of light and a low rumble of earth. Plow Plow tossed his crested head and gave a firm snort, sending a poof of dust out as he did so. "There's my big boy!" Hannah said happily, showering the rhyhorn with kisses and kneeling down to hug and pet him. Hannah would spend the first hours of the morning riding the rock construct, making impressive jumps considering the beast's own weight combined with her own, and moving with impressive speed. She even managed to hit a few bullseyes against the training dummies with her lance. She walked off the field, sweaty and glowing with satisfaction at the success of her self-directed training. Dressed in a loose shirt with a towel slung over her neck she headed over to the garden. It would be breakfast soon and she felt guilty eating too many of the guild's meals without helping out. She hadn't bothered to put away Plow Plow, the three and a half foot rhino thudding silently beside her as she entered the gardens. "Need potatoes dug out I'm yer girl!" Hannah called out merrily as she entered, spotting a woman in the plants and leaving Plow Plow off the fields as she approached, "Oh, yer Tharissa right? I think I helped harvest once before with ya!"

Johnathan chuckled, "You're not dreaming, I don't exactly remember what happened last night. But you aren't dreaming. Come on dinner, two hours till the honor combat."
Tharissa was a green haired lady. She wore comfy looking robes that were brown and green in color. She had in her hands a notebook and a pencil, as she walked around looking at everything, and writing things down.
Tharissa looked at the girl with a confused look on her face, "I don't recall..... Who are you?"
