Rei internally puts the last note aside, it feels like that should be important. But without able to see it, she begins to head back.

The feeling of being watched doesn't go away. Apparently it finds you entertaining enough to follow, but not openly reveal itself. Maybe it will get bored and come out later.

Rei finds something that looks like a child at first glance. Doing a double-take, she realizes it isn't actually human. It's a Pokemon! It seems to be weight training by lifting moderate-sized rocks.

The Tome takes a minute or two to search through its archives, then chimes softly. It reads as "Tyrogue" a Fighting-Type Pokemon that can evolve into three different forms depending on the type of training it undergoes prior.

After getting the register back that it's a Tyrouge, Rei wanders over, and recalls both Shinpuru and Zumu. She approaches slowly as not to raise it's ire.
"Hello, may I join you?"

It looks in your direction, then moves a little, giving you room to access the rocks its been training with. The particular ones its using are a bit large for a human, but there are some smaller ones that would be more manageable.

Tyrogue seems mildly surprised that a human that looks like Rei could lift the same rocks that it can. Seeing this as a challenge, it sets down the rock it was lifting and picks up a bigger one. It begins doing reps with it.

After maybe an hour of doing reps, it sets the rock down and sits down atop it to rest for a bit. It looks at you and seems quite impressed that you were able to keep up with it.

"I think I needed to move my muscles a bit, but I can't do much more until I'm healed up. I think this helps though, thanks! It was nice to have a training partner! And you're really strong!"
Rei thinks for a moment.
"Do you want to come along with me and keep getting stronger? It'd be nice to have someone to train with!"

Rei pulls out her last basic ball and captures the newly appointed Wir before letting him back out alongside Zumu and Shinpuru, hoping they'll get along well.

Zumu seems to think it's snack time, and looks up at you expectantly. As you're explaining that it isn't quite snack time yet, you see the strangest thing: a floating bell, like you'd see at a shrine. It chimes softly as it floats by.
