Rei manages to dive out of the poison cloud at the last second, however Sheru is not so lucky. Seeing him go to defend the snake means he's trying to protect it from falling. Something she can prevent! She grabs hold of him to prevent movement! Sheru sees that and uses the opportunity to hit the Snake to end this! Rei goes to defend against the attack, but a small helmet pushes her out of the way. Rei feels an odd feeling of reversal as one of her pokemon took the attack for her this time. Sheru takes a lot more damage than Rei would, but seems to be storing it! Glancing at his utility belt, where he keeps pulling these from, you see slots for additional potions that seem to be empty. Apparently he found you on his way back from something. Or he just doesn't carry more than two. Either way.
