Battle Girl is victorious! Rei gains 10 Poke XP. Some time later, Rei awakens in the healer's hut in Cerulean, her Apricorn Balls and other possessions sitting nearby.

Hmmm. Well this is starting to feel familiar.
Rei gathers up her pokemon and belongings, thanks the healers and heads out of the tent to see where exactly she ended up.

Taking a leisurely ride along the forest line atop Raido, with Shinpuru in her lap, Rei is just enjoying the shade for a bit. Out of nowhere, something grabs her, covering her mouth and yanking her off of Raido so quickly that Shinpuru ends up riding him instead. Raido even keeps on going for a minute or two before realizing that the weight he was carrying is now significantly lighter. Surprised and confused, he doesn't even see the attack coming.

Meanwhile, Rei finds herself being threatened by a strange man.

Rei internally panics as she's dragged off Raido by surprise, and the panic turns into adrenaline as she finds herself face to face with a man threatening to take all that she has including her pokemon friends. As it becomes clear what's happening, she frowns and takes on a serious look.
"You've accosted the wrong girl."
Rei takes a fighting stance.

"You sure you want to do it this way, little girl?" A very large snake reveals itself, hissing and baring its crimson fangs. When Rei stands firm, the man chuckles and draws a dagger as he and his snake Pokemon attack in tandem.

Group 1Raido is struck nearly to unconsciousness, and panics, tossing Shinpuru off. The Bidoof plops to the ground, and isn't angry at Raido, but really the one who just tried to hurt his fellow pokemon. They both try to find whatever did that! They can't seem to locate whatever it was, but prepare for battle nontheless! Perceptions! HNxxcSPx2d6Rei uses Yoroi Step (Defense Dance)
Power Pirouette activates! Choosing first ability! All adjacent targets are confused! 2d6Raido uses growth, and Shinpuru uses Dance of Blades. Group 2The snake is large and intimidating, but... Rei doesn't have a choice, in her mind. Losing any of her pokemon would be a tragedy, especially Shinpuru. He's more than just a pokemon to her. She takes the attack from the Seviper, which trigger her defensive spirit amulet, and she doesn't feel much more than a scratch, but still feels herself seizing up. 1d20Rei finds she can't move much, but forces herself to do her defensive dance, but does so in a dazzling way! 2d6·2d6·1d20

Group 2 The snake attacks again, while the man issues some sort of special commands to it. You notice that he is wearing some sort of special mask. It's unclear whether its to avoid easy identification or something else, but it cannot bode well.
Man binds Debilitate for 2 AP.

If Poison: Activate Potent Venom. Rei loses 2 Defense instead of Special Defense. On Miss: Activate Miasma. Use Poison Gas as if it were on your Move List. Poison Type Pokemon are not negatively affected by Smokescreen this way.

Group 1Perceptions! CHOEBCAK2d6 2d6
Shinpuru and Raido still cannot find their attacker! More boosting.
Shinpuru uses Defense Curl! Raido uses no action but activates Grass Pelt to heal 2 ticks worth of HP. Group 21d20Rei finds a moment that whatever effect releases her and throws out Zumu to help out behind her! She then does another dance, and amps up the spinning, as it didn't seem to stick last time! Zumu sees the state of the battle, and blasts the big snake in the eyes with sand, hoping to throw it off! And then, seeing a chance to keep up the assault, bashes into it! Rei uses Drain Step on Seviper! AC 3 Normal Status (-2 stages to attack on hit) 1d20
Regardless of hit or miss, Rei uses Power Pirouette to make them both confused again!
Zumu (On Rei's init due to not being out) uses Sand Attack on Seviper! AC 2 Ground Status 1d20

Rei takes out a quick healing item and applies it to herself, hoping to weather more blows. -New Round- Shinpuru stand tall above the defeated snake, but unfortunately for Raido, not soon enough and Rei's mount falls.
