Rei leads the bell and her posse back to town, where her plan is to head back to the inn and rest up and wait for Tiki to return so she may try to claim the bell!

Rei can 'feel' the bird still watching, but trying to approach it would just get it to fly off anyway, if it is interested in her, it'll come down. It's at least given her some interesting things to do at least on her 'easy' day. She heads back to the inn, finding some food for all her pokemon as well as something for the chingling, and she's distracted herself enough but she still needs rest. Especially after her training session with Wir. She climbs back under the covers and continues to rest.

Rei (and anyone who follows her) spots a suspicious campsite after a short walk. It seems new, though, and not very well disguised, so certainly can't be poachers. Too obvious.

As they see it, Rei holds out an arm to stop Tiki and any followers. She looks up to her head [Read: nest] to see if Kopi is paying attention. She tries to keep her voice down, however.
"Kopi, can you fly over and let us know if you see anything or anyone?"

Kopi seemed to be snoozing. Makes sense, given that it's a nocturnal bird. It does awaken when you gently prod it however, and all it takes is a quick repeat of the request to get it moving. After a quick circle, it returns and squawks "no humans".

Clay has loped after the girls, and looks at the campsite suspiciously. He's already decided he doesn't like Kopi much, but a clever flying scout is pretty useful. "Prob'ly not what we're looking for," he mutters quietly. "Might be clues though? Somebody out here, maybe they've seen the poachers... might be worth a look."

As you turn to leave, Kopi suddenly flies up into the trees. Just when you're about to ask 'what gives?', you hear the baying of a dog headed in your direction. You brace yourselves as it begins to grow louder, and a Red Child clone bursts out of the brush, snapping and snarling.

Well, this is a familiar situation. Clay moves forward to interpose himself between the others and the aggressive-looking Growlithe. Time for damage control.
He shifts his feet into a more stable posture, half-bending his legs, but doesn't raise his arms yet. No need to look aggressive; he doesn't think Growlithe are easily cowed. "Hey, hey, settle down! No need to fuss, we're just passing through, didn't know it was your territory." He hasn't shifted into Pokémon language; he's just trying to calm the dog down.

"Nah, I got this." Making nice doesn't seem to have helped... but that didn't look like a real attack. Clay bares his teeth right back at the Growlithe - and now he raises his arms, making his defensive posture more obvious. His next words are clearly addressed to the angry Pokémon again, and come out halfway to a bark. "Get back, kid."
