It is a bright and sunny day on the top of Mount Radiance. The sun is at its noontime position, atop the very apex of the sky. Despite it being clear and warm, there are only four people on the mountaintop. There is a woman with long, flowing black hair tied in a yellow ribbon, wearing brighter clothing. Next is a man with a darker tone of kin than the others present, his dark hair longer on one side than the other, in practical brown rainment. Past him is another man, also with dark hair, although his is scruffier and unkempt, with dark clothes. Last, you see an old man with a well trimmed white beard and balding head, his blue robe simple and free of ornamentation. After a few moments, you recognize yourself... but who are the other three? Why are you all here? Just as the older man seems about to speak......you wake up. You can remember the dream in vivid detail. And you get the feeling that it takes place later today. Okay, well, you can basically describe your accommodations in Celestial Peak, reactions to the dream, and what you do in the little bit of time before noon. Presuming you want to follow the plot, of course.

"You two done yet?" Caervin called out as he got the rest of the tent put away at last. He looked over to where his companions were finishing up their sparring round, Rune floating gleefully just out of Kindy's reach as the frustrated pup leaped into the air over and over again. He was glad they'd chosen to set up camp outside the city; as much as he liked people in general, the hustle and bustle of urban streets weren't his particular flavor of peaceful. A few more straps clicked into place, and.... there! The solitary wanderer grinned as he hoisted the tent bag onto his back above his rucksack. The most recent dream had only reassured him that he was on the right path to finding answers--and the sooner he could get to the top of the mountain, the better. "Alright then! Rune, you'll draw too much attention out here-- away for now. Kindy, c'mon now!"He set off towards his destination with the pup at his side and a wide grin spread across his features. Did xp training and focused training.

As Elizabeth awoke, her determination to continue on her journey frayed slowly like her sunlight adjusting eyes. There was a certain trepidation she felt, a nervousness that she often did without in life, that took her by surprise when her bare feet touched the cool Center floor. Questions loomed from the edges of her mind. Why her? Why was she being summoned up top Mount Radiance? Was her wish to be granted upon it? Or were they all just dreams, delusions, that she had told herself to set herself up for grandeur? And lastly, who were those men? With a furrowed brow, her doubts had taken her confidence, her bravado. But she hoped still. The dream had been a message, a message from the Gods that her hopes were not lost and that she would find answers up top Mount Radiance. She knew this to be true. She wanted this to be true. So Elizabeth readied herself, supplying herself with an assortment of medicinal items from the market that she thought she might need for her and her Pokémon. Whilst her funds grew less and less, she steeled herself for what was to come. After strapping their bought items onto Apollo's side, his flickering fiery mane licking the sides of the fireproof bag, she hoisted herself up with a practiced ease with Iris beside her. Grabbing onto his reins, she flicked them once before Apollo charged head long down the crowding streets of Celestiak Peak and towards the city gates. Applying Agility Training to Apollo! Would apply some to Iris as well but I don't have a good RP excuse as to why she would xP! Will apply EXP Training to Apollo as well!

Mikel yawned as he awoke. Despite being tired, his eyes scanned the room he was staying in. His trusted Kirlia was there and his sword lay next to the bed. He saw no sign of intrusion and both the window and door were still locked. Satisfied the night had been uneventful, Mikel for out of bed and began to stretch.
Once the scruffy young man was stretched out he grabbed his shirt from the chair it had been drapped over and put it on before tapping one of the pokeballs on the dresser and releasing his Pawniard,Saber, who unlike his Kirlia he typically kept in his Pokeball.
He grabbed the sword next to the bed and drew it from his scabbard. The Pawniard scratch his claws together to signal he was ready and then the two began their morning spar while Lia watched from the edge of the bed.
As the man sparred, he thought about his dream. There had been four figure, counting himself. While the dream had certainly been more informative than the last, this one both seemed to confirm and deny his theory of the calling. With only three other figures it seemed his theory about it being the Warriors of Jusitce seemed unlikely. At the same time, if one discounted the younger one and it was only the core three perhaps the dream confirmed it?
However, something didn't seem to fit as he thought on the dream. However a light poke to his stomach snapped him out of his thoughts. "Sorry Saber, I wasn't paying fill attention." He said realizing that his distraction had caused his movements to slow.
Now focused on his match the two finished up their training match before Mikel recalled the pokemon. Then, he strapped on his belt, sheathed his sword, and finished getting dressed. Once he was finished, he tossed the black cloak over his shoulder and opened the door, motioned for Kirlia to exit first (ladies first!) And then followed behind, heading downstairs and into the inn's lobby. After checking out, Mikel grabbed some toast and continued his journey toward the peak. Even if the dream was just a dream and nothing special at least the walk would be beautiful and the peace would helpfully give him some insight into controlling the dark rage.

It is a clear, bright day in the city, with a warm breeze gently blowing despite the height and the thin layer of snow. No one knew exactly why the snow never vanished entirely, because it was never too deep, but to the people of Celestial Peak, it was just another fact of life.
As you all leave the city and its ornate marble buildings behind, you can see the vast white slopes of Mount Radiance sprawling out into the distance. To your right, down sleep cliffs, as you travel towards the "peak" of the crater, is the magnificent Lake of Reflection. Indeed, if you look closely, you can see yourself, a tiny speck crawling along the cliff.
Whether by happenstance, choice of path, or breaks, it so happens that all three of you arrive at the peak at the same time. Already there is the old man from your dream, sitting on a boulder, and facing towards the lake. Next to him is a Xatu, still as a statue.
Despite you all being too far away to be noticed, he turns at your arrivals, and beckons you closer. Once all of you are gathered around, he greets you in a soft voice. "Hello, travelers. I assume since you arrived here, you can answer some of my questions. Primarily... Who are you, and why are you here?"

Mikel raised an eyebrow at the forward question, though smiled politely as he answered. "Greetings," He said in reply with a nod. "Your questions are rather forward, and one would assume that one would offer answers of their own before questions." He noted, "Nonetheless, my name is Mikel. And I've wandered many places, this is just the most recent for various reasons." He said trying to feel things out for now. He didn't want to seem crazy claiming guided by a dream when he wasn't sure of anything about the three others.
At the very least seeing all the people from his dream certainly made him feel less crazy. He had trusted the dream when it had just been a calling, but seeing people he had never met before in his dreams meant it was prophetic. "How about you? What guided you here, sir?" As he spoke his eyes looked over the others.

Caervin waited patiently as the other guy responded, smiling a bit at the mention of wandering to many places. "Much the same as this fella," he answered simply. Except the name, of course. I'm Caervin. Guess I'm here 'cause I thought I knew who I was... and, well, it seems I don't." Then he gives a lopsided grin. "Figured you might be able to help with that, sir. Sending prophetic dreams and all."
He took a good look at the others, then. The girl was undeniably beautiful, and the Mikel guy, though he spoke well, gave off unsettling vibes. He'd reserve his judgement on the old man with the Xatu--it never boded well to question the purposes of mysterious elders--but all in all, the trio of them that had been summoned via dreams was an odd mix indeed. He ran his fingers through the half-mane on the crest of Kindy's head, waiting for responses from both of the others.

static.zerochan.net/Esmeralda.(Notre.Dame).full.973982.jpg Elizabeth glanced quickly at the two beside her, not wanting to blatantly stare at the two men now occupying her flanks. With her quick looks she knew, they were the boys that she had seen in her dreams the night before. Whilst the haze of the dream had blurred most of the details from her memory, their style and presence spoke enough to her mind to assure her of her sanity. She was not deluded. This was all orchestrated, pre-ordained by the Gods. “You had them as well?” Elizabeth asked, turning her head towards Caervin’s direction. “I wasn’t entirely sure what to make of them myself. At first, I thought I might’ve been going insane.” She laughed. “You may call me Eliza. And my dreams are what have brought me here." Literally and figuratively.

"Hmmm... Dreams, you say? By the Lady!" the old man exlaims. "Anyways, yes, forgive me. My name is Matthaeus, and this," he gestures to his Xatu, "is Prophet. As to what brought me here? My own Visions. For I am a Seer of the Future, in the service of our Blessed Lady Mew. So...you have had actual communication with the gods? I have heard nought for months. I used to hear the 'why' of my visions. Now I see only the 'what'..."
He stares off into the distance wistfully, but suddenly Prophet gives him a bit of a poke with one of its wings, gesturing towards you all frantically. "Huh? Wha- Damnit... You're right. Those letters are for them. The names match. I'm going senile." He turns back to you. "Now, I know you have questions. I don't know how well I can answer them. But, if you wouldn't mind, we should head to my house. It's not too far, but I have some things that I think are for you. You can ask any questions you want on the way. I'll answer them as best I can."

Caervin's face fell slightly. Okay, okay. A slight bend in the road. He'd been hoping the old man held at least some answers--but maybe the letters he'd spoken of would fill that purpose.
Then something else the man had said caught his attention. "Communication with the gods? You mean-- the dreams?" Now that he'd mentioned it, that was really the only explanation, wasn't it? Caervin shuffled uncomfortably. He didn't have anything against the great deities, of course, but the chevron on his ankle had only ever been a tattoo before. Mephisto once said it was a marking of Palkia's, but the god hadn't touched him since, and if Caer was to be honest he'd put the thought out of his mind altogether.
"So... it's Goddess Mew who brought us together, then?" He asked with a faint frown. "She's not-- I mean, no disrespect intended, but a different god has his mark on me. I'm... not sure why, though."

static.zerochan.net/Esmeralda.(Notre.Dame).full.973982.jpg As Elizabeth gathered Apollo's reins into her hands with the behest of the old man to follow, she filed herself right behind him, wanting to know more of what was to become of them and if her gamble to come would truly pay off. "So... they really did summon us?" Elizabeth asked openly. "But why? While I believe in the Gods as much as any other person of Eidola, why would they choose us of all people? What need would they have, for instance, for a Performer such as myself?" Whilst she knew little of the proceedings and understandings of the Eidolan Faith, she knew well enough that this was not normal.

As the others spoke of the dream, Mikel had remained quiet debating on if he should confirm it or not. However, when the old man had also mentioned dreams, it seemed clear all of them had been shared, "I'm not sure communication is the best word, but I did feel a calling here in one dream and then the other night I saw us all here. Regardless, if I was called here seeing these letters would be good." The cloaked man said as he followed the old man. He felt a bit uncomfortable hearing that it was specifically gods calling. He wasn't sure why Mew of all people would call him with his dark curse.
He glanced at the female on her mount as he walked, "That seems quite convenient." He comments. The Kirlia following beside him looked slightly annoyed at Mikel, though he didn't catch the look.

"Ha! Void if I actually know who brought you together. I just wish my goddess would speak to me again..." Matthaeus sighs. "It's just wishful thinking on my part to think that she's speaking again. As to why you guys? I don't know. Magic lottery? Genetics? Something else? I've heard all the tales, as you probably have. We mere mortals cannot presume to know the mind of a god. It is reassuring, at least, to know that they're still out there. Or...at least one."

"Well, almost sounds like the tell of a heroic legend." Mikel says with an amused smile. "Group of heroes called together, silent gods, mysterious dreams, and a strange calling."

Elizabeth smiled kindly at Mikel's comment before petting her mare's flickering flames with her hand, wistfully remembering the day they first met. "Through all my years of riding, I've never had a better steed than Apollo." The Ponyta whinnied beneath her, appreciating the praise. Her thoughts, however, lingered only for a moment on her memories as the nature of their fates and the Gods' fates, came into question.
"What do you mean when you say...'At least one.'?"

Heroes of legends? A skittering chill danced over Caervin's skin and down his spine. Had Uncle Mephisto known anything about his fate, and omitted it from the journal? If he could be a legend... Maybe one day people would be hunting treasures once belonging to him. He waited for old Matthaeus' response, locked in his own dreams once again.

"Well, I figure if you guys are getting dreams like these, it means at least one god is alive and kicking. That doesn't mean any of the rest are. But, who knows. They could just be giving us a time out or something. Either way, it's worrying. Nothing like this has happened before." At Mikel's comment, he gives a wry smile. "Well, it just might be. Just remember... all the legends are true. Even the ones without a happy ending."Suddenly, he stops, seeming to notice something. He points, at...some point in midair. "There, Prophet." A shadowy sphere leaps out from prophet, striking the air... and revealing a strange sight. An incomprehensible glyph, with an eye in the center. None of you have ever seen such a thing before, but it falls to the ground from the attack. "I wonder how long it's been here?" Matthaeus asks, before his eye widen. "Too long!" he cries, as a half dozen more glyphs become visible, and the first one begins hovering again. MapPlace yourself and your Pokémon anywhere on the path that's not above the enemy by commenting on the map.

Caervin jumps backwards in fright as a number of those weird floating symbols pop up out of seemingly nowhere. "Kindy! Help!" he squawks, entirely unready for a fight. The growlithe surges ahead of him, snarling at the two closest creatures...

"...right," Caervin agrees, but he doesn't look so sure of himself. Kindy begins edging towards the one closest to her, but Caervin worries about what it might be able to do, and cuts in. "Heeeey theereee.... buddy... haven't seen something like you before... why don't we just get along, huh?" He focuses as he speaks, and a swirl of pinkish light twists away from his body towards the nearest foe. Then he turns his eyes to the one further back. "You're truly an interesting specimen. If, um, you choose not to hurt us... maybe there could be a benefit to you, as well..."Her nerve finally breaking, Kindy leaps forward and sinks her teeth into the nearby enemy. Caervin Standard Action: Sweet Kiss on the Unown at L-11. AC6 (17), Unown is now Confused. Caervin Swift Action: Quick Wit to use Flirt M.M. on the Unown at N-13. AC2 (5), Unown must beat a Focus or Charm check of... 9.
Kindy Shift Action: Move to K-11 (1 space). Kindy Standard Action: Use Bite. AC2 (9), for 32 Physical Dark damage.
