"You're going to have two separate goals on Innistrad. Your primary goal is to make contact with a Planeswalker making the plane into her home, Liliana Vess. I'm going to need her assistance in something soon. Second, the Plane was recently... Visited by a being of incredible power that caused people and creatures on the Plane to become mutated. I need you all to get information on the exact scale at which the mutations are still affecting the denizens of the Plane. I'd check myself, but my last trip there I was compromised and we don't know what effects that might have were I to go back so soon."
Jace reaches into his cloak and pulls out a large scroll with strange writing that only Arata seems to understand immediately, but within a few moments everyone can read as saying "A gift from Tamiyo". He sets the scroll down on a table and begins to explain the path from Arthea to Innistrad through the Blind Eternities.
After some general information about the nature of the Plane, Jace sends you on your way. You all begin the trek through the Blind Eternities, passing by a multitude of Planes along the way. As you approach Innistrad, you can see a sort of distortion around it, likely an effect of whatever being Jace had referred to previously.
You materialize on the Plane and look around to see you're gathered in a small clearing in a forest. Because of the night sky, your vision is obscured.
Arata eyes up this clearing they'd walked to, drawing his sword. Behind him, Shiki-kan mimics his actions, the two covering each other's backs. He doesn't know this plane, or the dangers it could hold, so for now he stays on guard.

It was without question that Ruta would join the consortium, he was instructed by the head mistress herself to join Jace's little group and while he have little desire to learn about these mutated creature for leaning sake he will follow his direction without fair. As Jace gaze fell upon him for an answer of some kind, Ruta simply gaze back before giving the slightly nod of his chin.
Upon arriving in Innistadt Ruta slowly swept his gaze across their dark surroundings, willing his eyes to adjust to the darkness. Ruta's Perception tbY0z9to2d6 "My eyes are more use to the glitter of coins then of darkness but Faultless sees excellently in the dark..." Even before the sound of his name Faultless was already looking about the darkness of no hindrance to his red eyes as he shift from one side of Ruta's shoulder to another. As the group scans the immediate area, the howl of a wolf can be heard in the distance. Bug, Shiki and Jamuraa are all immediately aware of a light shuffling in a group of nearby bushes, as something watches them and their entrance to the Plane.
Arata lowers his stance a little. Still staying defensive, but enough to perhaps not sabotage the green one's attempts at a peaceful introduction to the plane. (What-passes-for-charm-with-Arata roll XrVfMnnL2d6)2d6
Bug looks over the two of them and nods. "It is nice to meet two of you. Bug will assist with the trip home, if allowed. In return, Bug may need directions to a place where many odd things are happening. Does deal sound good?"
These two were hardly out of their cocoons, so Bug felt an instinctive urge to protect them. That would start with getting them to a place of safety.
The young boy looks back into the bush where, presumably, his sister is still hiding. The two of them whisper to one another before she finally steps out, the majority of her body being obscured by her older brother as she hides. The boy, protective of his sister in front of this group of strangers, looks adamant at your party before nodding.
"It shouldn't be too far, we haven't been traveling for long. I know that when we... When we left, we headed south. So the village should be north from here."
(Anyone who wants to make a survival check to find "North" on this plane can. Any other checks you want to make for whatever reason are up to you.)
Bug nodded, thumping a fist onto his chest. "Children have no need for worry. Bug is strong, capable fighter! Friends are tough as well, so enemies will run in fear!" He crowed a bit, happily playing up these people he knew next to nothing about.4d6·4d6
Arata is unfortunately poorly versed in pathfinding, so he waits for another with a stringer sense of direction to take the lead. "We shall be your staunch retainers, you will return home safely." he says to the children.
The boy, hesitantly, encourages his sister to follow along side him. As you all begin to move, the children try to stay as close to the back of the party as they can, eyes darting everywhere between each of the strangers as well as the darkness around them.
Jamuraa and Bug notice that the girl is keeping one of her arms hidden from the group at all times by keeping it inside of her shirt.
Its only a short time, thirty minutes or so, before Bug begins to make out the signs of civilization. A few short minutes after that and you all make it to a small village, twenty or thirty houses tops. It becomes readily apparent that something had happened here in the last few days, as a number of the houses seem to be in the process of repairs. Thatch for roofing as well as lumber for the walls and flooring are deposited in the center of the village, seemingly without any guards to watch over the supplies.
The children begin to shiver, despite the balmy warmth, as you approach one of the larger houses.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?

Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.
