"Hello? IS the village elder around? We found these young children lost in the woods! Does anybody know where their parents might be?" Arata calls as they approach the large house, hoping to bring the proper village authority figures to the children. He notes the damage to all the buildings as well, and quieter now, asks "Children, what has happened to the village?"

Bug frowns, looking to the children with worry in his eyes. He reaches for the containment orbs on his belt, speaking to the younglings gently.
"Why do children shake as if cold? Bug worries it is related to why girl hides arm from group. Bug is not upset, but knowing if a fight is starting is beneficial to group. Will children share with Bug what happened?"
For now, he leaves the searching to the other planeswalkers. His place was here, keeping his word and defending the children.

"Where is everybody? It doesn't feel right to see an empty district like this. Was there some kind of raid?" Cho looks around for signs of a struggle, blood pools, anything. She realizes she's actually looking for a Rakdos insignia painted somewhere (probably in blood), but reminds herself there probably wouldn't be anyone with that MO here. And besides, nothing was even on fire. Cho-Mizzemmade a Perception Check! | LcphhwRI2d6 |

Arata's shouting draws the attention of a few of the villagers. Lamps can be seen being lit in windows, and from the biggest house in the middle of town emerges a hulk of a man in just his pants and boots, and a sword almost as long as the man was tall. He looks around, his gaze a mix of fear and intensity until he settles his gaze on the party in front of him.
"What are you talking about children?"
He looks a little closer before spotting the duo the group had found in the woods, his expression turning to revulsion. He immediately points his blade towards the group. His voice seethes with venom as he addresses you all, causing the children to huddle further behind Bug.
"What township do you lot hail from?"

Bug bristled at the man, ushering the children behind him protectively before opening his mouth to speak.
"Hail swordsman. Bug and companions are travelers, hailing from far lands. Bug does not remember the name. Company found these two children in the woods and offered assistance. Could swordsman tell us why he seems so angry to see then again?"
Bug spoke calmly but his eyes were aflame. He had vowed to protect these children and he would do that job, regardless of how many injuries he sustained. He looked to the other members of the party, wondering how they would react to this development.

Arata's hand was on his hilt as soon as the sword appeared, and at the display of anger it was drawn, Shiki-kan imitating him once more. The display of revulsion could be well founded for all he knows, but right now he has a vow to honour. He takes a quick glance back at the children, ensuring he is in a defensive position before them. He leaves the talking to bug for now... Forgetting the lands they hailed from was a weak excuse, but would only get weaker if more were to chime in without correcting him.

Cho-Mizzem steps forward as well. "My associate has a point. You act as if we brought Rakdos himself to your door, when all we've done is bring a few lost children in from the woods. What's the problem here?"
Was it the company that made the man fearful and angry? Was he just still on edge from what had happened in this town? Or, wait- "If- If you are afraid we hurt them, I swear we did nothing. This is exactly how we found the children, honest!"
