Jacqueline rolls her eyes at Dave, otherwise seeming completely unphased by his comments. "Alright, I pick down the path towards the pokecenter, at my own pace, which will probably involve me arriving at around the same time as you." She then turns her back to him, finished with him for the time being. Floon looks back and forth between her and Dave for a few moments before returning to hovering slightly over her shoulder. "You two seem nice enough, so how'd you end up with him? I'm assuming something to do with this show?"

"Hi, Jacqueline, I'm Jack...and this...is...my...partner......Bolt......," Jack started, trailing off into an awkward silence as he quickly found himself talked over by Jacqueline and Dave arguing. He waited with for the two of them to finish their back and forth, fidgeting like the uncomfortable observer he was, before he started to talk again.
"Oh, uh, yeah, the show. See, the three of us were finalists in the Tournament of Heroes back in Nuvema Town, after we fought off Team Plasma...," Jack began to explain, going through an abridged version of the events surrounding their trials so far, "...and so after I beat Dave in the finals, we headed out for Accumula Town, and the show's producer decided to make it about all of us instead of just the winner of the tournament, well, here we are," he finished.
"And yeah, Dave can get a little cranky...but I think that's just how he shows he cares about you, in his own way," Jack said, looking at Dave with a smile. "So you fought an Ursaring and a Persian, huh? That sounds rough. Me and Bolt had a run in with a Fearow and a whole flock of Spearow attacking a poor Pidgey, but we made out okay," he said. "I was actually coming back to find you guys and make sure you were alright."

Luke looks on somewhat uncomfortably as Jacqueline and Dave argue, not sure how to react. As the others mention what they had faced, he shrinks in on himself a bit. "I ... may have instigated a revolution..." he says softly, only barely loud enough for the others to hear.

"By the Six, are all of you presuming to be mind readers, today?" Dave snaps at Jack. "All I care is that she doesn't bother me. Also, I notice that you don't mention that you faced me two on one in the finals."
"Now, you guys can talk about how much of my life you think you know, or talk to Luke about whatever 'revolution' he started, or whatever. I don't care." he says, irritably, pulling out his PokéNav and heading in the direction towards the next town, "But I'm headed to the Pokémon Center. I'll see you there. Or not. Either way works for me, really." Maybe I'll finally get some damn peace and quiet.

Jack frowned at Dave. "Alright, good luck the rest of the way there! Stay safe! It's down the path on the left!," he said, relaying the instructions as best he could remember. Turning back toward Jacqueline and Luke, Jack still had a worried frown on his face.
"He's even grumpier than usual. I guess he must've really got hurt in his battle. Oh well..."
Jack focused on Luke. "A revolution? Whatcha mean?"

Jacqueline would take a moment to listen to the story that Jack tells, first a pursed lip smile on her face that begins to grow wider and wider, near the end she begins to giggle, covering her mouth with a hand and bending over as the fit grows stronger and stronger. However, as Dave begins to angrily storm off, she can't hold it in any longer, and absolutely cracking up with laughter, doubling over in amusement, choking out a few words when she can. "They.... pffffft they-they're making a r- hahahaaaa about him!!!! That's, they're- pffffhahahahahahaha- oh man they're going to r-rake in the cash!" Eventually she begins to contain her laughter, wiping more than a few tears from her eyes as she tries to clue back in to the conversation of the two younger boys, still chuckling to herself and shaking her head.

Luke fidgets awkardly a bit at Jack's question, before sighing. "Well, it started when I ran across Palamedes here just about to..." He gives Jack a brief summary of the battle between the Lillipup, catching Palamedes, and the encounter with the Honchkrow. "... and as they were distracted fighting each other, I just kind of... left. Not sure what happened after that..."

Bolt quickly jumps from Jack and heads over to investigate the new floating Pokemon, Floon floating down to inspect the curious yellow mouse as well. Both Gawain and Palamedes head over and soon enough all four of the mon are sniffing at each other and seemingly introducing themselves.
However, both Palamedes and Gawain quickly look to the sky, just as the trainers hear the same loud cry as before, this time much closer. In response a different screech was heard from the opposite direction, this one sounding especially familiar to Jack.
For a moment, there was silence in the forest, then the group could hear the flapping of a large number of wings coming from both north and south of them.

Hmmm... that doesn't sound good, Dave thinks, upon hearing the large number of wingbeats. Reflexively, he releases Hal, sighing. Hopefully it wouldn't be bad news. But, after everything else that had happened today, Dave isn't holding his breath. Unfortunately, as well, some of the wingbeats are from the direction he needs to head towards. With that in mind, he alters his course a little bit westward to try and be out of the way of the flocks. Though at the speed they're approaching, that probably won't work. Worth a try, at least.

Jacqueline immediately stiffens up from her laughter at the sudden sound of birds... everywhere. She looks to Floon for a moment, considering the situation, before recalling it to it's pokeball. "Sorry Floon, but I think it's time for Fortune to come out and play." As she says that, she taps a pokeball, and a small, cone shaped pokemon wearing a delicate tiara appears. "Fortune, eyes at the sky, we're going to try and not not fight, but I don't have very large hopes." The cone gives a little "Snorunt" of acknowledgement before looking up. Jacqueline takes a moment to survey the Bolt, trying to get a read for how he moved and fought, having a sneaking suspicion he was going to be useful in the coming situation. Then, she looks at the two younger boys. "I think we should try and stay in the underbrush, off the road, and maybe try and catch up with Dave. If it doesn't come to fighting, I don't think we should leave him alone." Archiving Bolt, because I can, that's why.

Jack looked up, recognizing the cry from earlier.
"Hey, Bolt, I think that Fearow is coming back," he said, eyes on the sky.
When Jacqueline spoke up, Jack turned his gaze to her briefly. "I dunno, I think Dave'll be fine on his own. He can take care of himself," he said.
"Besides, it's me and Bolt that the Fearow is mad at, so they should leave him be. But trying to find somewhere to hide might not be such a bad idea," he said with a grin.

Luke looks up startled at the sudden cries. "Oh no..." he mutters, before quickly recalling Palamedes and giving Gawain a quick over to see if he wasn't too injured. "Hiding would probably be best, yeah. I don't think that Honchkrow is too happy with me..."

Jacqueline pauses for a moment in thought, then sighs, picking up Fortune from the ground. "I'd feel bad leaving him on his own, I'm gonna run ahead and catch up with him. You two can stay here though." After she says that, she begins running off in Dave's direction, trying to keep as out of sight from above as she can while looking for him.

Jack and Luke
Both Gawain and Bolt dive into the brush next to their trainers, the flapping sound growing louder and the pair notice both of the larger birds from earlier amongst flocks of their unevolved brethren, each headed towards the other. It seems the two clouds of birds would collide in less then a minute, nearly directly above where the group was hidden.
Dave and Jacqueline
Dave had successfully made it a little ways out of the path of the birds when Jacqueline caught up to him. The duo wasn't able to catch their breath for too long however, before a number of the Murkrow noticed them and broke off from the flock at large, flying straight at the trainers

"Why do you keep following me?" Dave asks irritably, once he realizes who is causing the footsteps. "I'm sure those guys back there would have been more than happy to put up with you."
"So, why don't you-" He cuts off upon spotting the birds heading towards them. Apparently they hadn't gotten far enough away. "Uh oh. That isn't good." There's a lot of them, he realizes. Turning to Hal, he says, "Okay, we need to take them down quickly, and get out of here, before more come. Because the only other option is running, and I'm not really up for that right now."

Jacqueline would snort and roll her eyes at Dave's initial reaction, giving him an exasperated look, opening her mouth to snap at him, but being cut short as he finally used his fricken eyes to see things like eyes were meant to. She sets Fortune down on the ground, muttering to the snorunt as she does so, "Look who finally decided to use their brain for once, instead of letting their awful personality do all the decision making." She then stands up and looks to Dave with an annoyed look. "Or ever."

Dave and JacquelineThe Murkrow dive down a few meters from the pair, pulling up right before hitting the ground and landing, raising their wings in an attempt to look menacing while screeching out a cry. Though it seems each of them are more focused on outdoing each other at the moment instead of attacking, giving Hal and Fortune a moment to gather themselves as well. A few of the birds however, notice the small ice type and send out a wave of twisting purple and black energy though their aim was poor enough that Fortune was able to move slightly to the side and avoid it Alright, Murkrow Swarm acts on initiative 14 and then again on 9
Both Attacks it used miss however Jack and LukeThe two clouds of birds continue to fly closer to each other, getting nearer to the young trainers hiding spots. With time ticking away, now was the moment a decision needed to be made Couple of options.
Run, in which case give me an Athletics check
Hide, So a Stealth Check
Fight, self explanatory
Something I didnt expect, tell me what you want to roll

Luke had been slowly backing off, eyes wide in fear as the birds got closer and closer. However, slowly, indignation and anger overtake said fear. This birds were going to fight, for what? Some silly rivalry? Some more power for their leaders? And as they fight, they're dragging the entire area into their stupid war! That was just wrong! Eventually, anger overtakes even common sense, and Luke steps forward. "STOOOOOOOP! Stop this pointless fighting over a problem that isn't yours! Why are you fighting for someone else, for someone who bullies and threatens you around?! What's the point of fighting for a cause you have nothing to gain from? You think anything will change if you fight here? You think you'll gain more respect, more power? NO! The only one that is to gain anything from this are your so called leaders, and where are they?! Hiding somewhere in the back, too scared to show their faces! Let them fight out this pointless war, don't get hurt yourselves for another mon's thirst for power!" By the end of his speech, Luke is panting, rightous fire burning in his eyes. Charm: 21/19 Command: 13/11

Jack watched as the two groups of birds prepared to clash and bit his lip, thinking of the poor Pidgey, and all of the other pokemon that were sure to get caught in the crossfire... He clenched his fist, shaking it a little. He couldn't let this go on any longer.
Without warning, Jack stood up from his hiding place and ran directly between the two oncoming flocks, putting himself in the swarm's path with Bolt on his shoulder.
"Stop!," he shouted as loudly as he could, throwing up his arms between the two flocks. "You don't have to do this! I don't know why all of you are so angry," he said, looking between the flocks of Spearow and Murkrow, "but there has to be a better way to work this out than through fighting! Think of how your friends and your families could get hurt," he pleaded to the two groups. "Think of all of the other poor pokemon that get caught in the crossfire," he added on, thinking of the Pidgey in the Pokemon Center. "There has to be a better way! There is a better way!," he shouted, hoping Bolt would help interpret for him...and waiting to see how the two groups of Pokemon would react.
Jack didn't realize that, at about the same time as him, Luke had got up too... 'Great minds think alike, I guess...at least we're got each other if this doesn't work,' he though to himself. That was some consolation, at least.

"If you have such a problem with me," Dave snipes, "then why are you still hanging around? No one's forcing you to stay."He then turns his attention to the Murkrow... all of which are bundled up quite nicely. He backs up, appraising the situation, before saying, "Give them a shock, Hal." A wide web shoots towards the clumped up birds, thankfully not shorting out... again. Thankfully, that hadn't happened since evolution. Dave uses Pokémaniac (19 vs DC10) on the Murkrow. Dave Tags the Murkrow, and moves to D6.
Hal uses Electroweb on the Murkrow, spending an AP. 12 vs AC3 for 35 Special Electric damage (in an AoE), and -1 Speed CS. Hal moves to E6. Hal gains 2 momentum.
Hal likely uses Trace on the Murkrow, contingent on what Pokémaniac discovers.
Momentum: 2
