Regina takes a few careful steps towards the Pokémon. " Don't worry about us, we're just in here to seek shelter from the cold outside. No need to be afraid." She shifts her attention from the Fraxure to the Axew. " Oh, what a cute baby you have. It's so adorable, don't you think so Gothita?" Regina Rowder made a Charm Check! | gHNmoEvs4d6+1 |

Gina tries to relay to the wild Pokémon that they are not threats to them or their baby. The good news is they don't appear they want to bite your faces off. The bad news is that only Gina is able to get closer if she wanted to. If anyone else tries to get close, you hear them grumbling.
[ooc:Gina can shift up to 3 spaces closer. Charm DC 15 to increase next step.]

The two Fraxure, let out groans as Regina tries to work her charm once again. They are not angered, as she was able to tip-toe around that result, but they don't seem any less apt to let you anywhere near them. Regina, tries to move to the side of the cave, off to the other corner. Even though your group is still in the cave with the Fraxure, since you are giving them their space, they don't attack you, but you see the creatures are not taking their eyes off of you.
[ooc:Red line represents the area the Fraxure are allowing you to occupy currently, without retaliation thanks to Gina. You can try to allow more space, but you can tell that you almost angered them, but were able to "barely" escape the anger.]

Not being the most compelling person in regard to being likened by wild pokemon, Ian remains at a safe distance from the Fraxure; last thing he needs is to have to deal with these pokemon. Instead, he'll try to think up what they like to eat and if they're in the area nearby. Pokemon Education to see if he can remember what Fraxure and Axew like to eat. Ian recalls that Axew, and their later evolutionary stages are all omnivore. They eat both plants and meat...and you are meat. Ian remembers seeing a small patch of green, about 10 minutes before the cave. You head back, and brace the chilling wind. The drifts are bad, but your knowledge of survival and the path you took, you manage to make it back to the patch you saw. Much to your surprise, along with the 1-foot diameter of green you saw, there is also a Cheri Berry Plant, with 3 berries.
Ian, makes his way back, and shakes the snow from his heavy coat as he walks back into the cave. He presents a handful of grass and 3 Cheri Berries to the group, hoping the gift of food will help to make the Pokémon Family happy.

Ian presents the Cheri Berries to the wild pokémon, whose heads turn on their side, trying to judge your intentions. It is clear, this is the first time they have probably ever encountered, let alone actually interacted with humans or trainers. The dragon pokémon allow you more use of the cave, as you sleep overnight, and through the storm. They leave you alone, and sleep in shifts through the morning.
[ooc:Digger, a DC 14 Perception check to find a fossil]
You wake, fully rested, and ready to push towards the town to deliver the berry plants. You are half-way to town, and hopefully the weather will be better. You make it about 3-4 hours outside of the cave, heading north. You see off in the distance, what appears to be a grouping of wild pokémon. As you get closer, you notice it is a pack of Mightyena, three to be precise ganging up on a Hitmontop, and it appears that the trainer of Hitmontop is on the cliff, trying to overcome the pack tactics of the trio of aggressors.

Once the Axew and Fraxure calm down, Digger takes the opportunity to make himself at home. Whistling as he goes, Litwick and Drilbur join him at his side. Come on Gopher! Let's see what we can find. As the others go about their business, Digger yelps with excitement. Oh wow! What are the odds? Good job Gopher! Digger runs back to the group with an arm full of shards. You've grown used to this by know though. Digger walking along with his dowsing rod and gathering the shards of elemental stones. This time however there is a large stone under his arm. He grunts as he sits down and begins delicately dusting it off. Look everyone! It's a fossil. Wow. Wait a minute. I recognize this one! This is a (I plan on coming back and editing this part out later. Once I learn about what this fossile is! ) Not to mention it's in absolutely incredible shape. Well done Gopher! You've always had a good nose for sniffing these thing out... Gopher the Drilbur nuzzles up to Digger and keeps a cautious eye on the Axews and Fraxures as he sniffles happily. Litwick on the other hand turns his back on Digger and begins floating away. Digger quickly hops up to chase after the offended Litwick. Oh come on now. We all know you helped to! Guy! Hey buddy! Come back here.. ~ As you walk along Digger continues his rambling about the items he has crafted during the previous evening. They can be created for any Element really but this Type Booster is Fire. I made it for Guy last night to make up for... Well... You know. Any ways, like I was saying. There are all kinds of things I can make with Shards. Of course there are Type Boosters, but there are also Type Braces, Focuses, Chakra Crystals (Although they usually go by Stat boosters.), Rainbow Crystals, even Type Plates if I can find enough shards! If anyone needs something just let me know and maybe we can work something out! Digger continues chattering about his artificer work until her hears the barking up a head. Uh oh. Looks like we might have some trouble up ahead. As they approach it becomes clear that Digger is nervous, suggesting that perhaps they should find another way around? But once he notices the trainer in peril he springs into action. Ready for a battle Digger whips out his note pad. Ready to jot down his notes on the Mightenyas attack styles Get in their Guy! Hit that ugly looking Mightenya with the snaggle tooth! Use Ember! (Digger does nothing untill the turn till after Mightenya. Litwick uses Burn on the blue Mightenya.) BJeqEukk1-20 2-6 +24

"I'll keep that in mind for if my Pokemon need a boost in the future" Quinton says to Digger's ramblings about what the shards he found could be made into. Seeing the Pokemon and its trainer trying to fight off the pack Quinton switches Brunhild for Hildebrand saying while grasping it by its handle, "Looks like they need some help ahead" When they got close to the Mightyena pack he lets go of Hildebrand who moves to float in the air beside him and slashes about in the air leaving afterimages behind. Using Brunhild's Standard Action to switch it out and replace it with Hildebrand, then using a Sprint maneuver and moving closer to the Mightyena. Hildebrand uses a Disengage Maneuver to shift to one square closer and uses Swords Dance

Listening to Digger speak about the gems intrigued Ian. "I've heard of such gems and their properties. Interesting." Before long, they were able to go out again and continue down the path toward their destination.
During their travels, they came across a pack of Mightyana and a trainer in need of assistance. "Hold on! We're coming!"
Looking down at Torchic, "When they're close enough, use Ember. I'll stand beside the trainer." Using his rather fast legs, although not the quickest to react to situations, he rushes up to the trainer's side to ensure he won't be harmed further, if at all.

Digger, seeing that Litwick wouldn't be able to make it to the ongoing battle, yells out an order. He tells his friend to minimize, and be as hard to hit as possible. It begins to shrink, and shrink, until it it only a portion of the size it used to be mere moments before. Torchic moves forward, but is just out of range to hurt any of the aggressive, beefed up puppies.

When the Mightyena bites her Hildebrand sways about and almost hits the ground before she hovers back to where she'd been with deep slashes along the length of her blade, then unleashes a horizontal slash at the pokemon that had moved past her to get to her trainer and then turns her attention to the Mightyena that bit her and slashes upwards into its jaw. "Argh! That hurt, let's see how you like this!" Quinton shouts with obvious pain in his voice as he slams a fist into the muzzle of the Mightyena that had bit his arm. The Mightyena that rushes past Hildebrand, takes a nasty gash to the side, but it is undeterred as it Bites down hard into Quinton's leg. Gina moves forward, and tries to lull the enemy into feeling sorry for her. She bats her eyelashes, and plays all cute, non-threatening like. It seems that the move worked, it seems less hostile than before, but it isn;t backing down. She follows it up by blowing a kiss its way. The angry beast, sways and shakes off the cobwebs. Quinton uses this distraction to ball up his fist, and it hardens like the hard stone under their feet. He slams his fist into the mangy mutt, and he can feel a few teeth crack under the jaw he just cracked. It doesn't seem to be looking so good, as you can see the beast breathing heavily. [ooc:under 50%]The Mighyena, even if injured, keep fighting at the group, in hopes they can carry one off for a meal, to help brave the harsh cold of the Sinnoh region. The Mightyena that has been harassing Quinton, turns to his faithful Honedge and tries to tackle the blade as it has clearly taken a beating. The Mightyena slams into...or rather THROUGH the Honedge as it doesn't take any damage. The Mightyena that took a Bite out of Quinton, once again tries to takes another Bite out of the young man. It sinks its teeth, deep into Quinton's leg. Blood drips down his thigh, and he almost passes out from the pain, but stays upright to face the pack head on. The remaining Mightyena, travels up the snowy embankment, towards the cliff where the original "meal" stands. It lets out a ferocious Howl, psyching itself up to hopefully bite into its original prey. Digger, looks on, memorizing the manner in which the Mightyena attacked Quinton. He makes a mental note on the way it stood, the way its jaws opened and seemed to unhinge as it brought its maw around Quinton's leg. He figures it would be a good move to teach his pokéfriends should the need arise. Hildebrand, is quite unhappy that its trainer is nearly put down and out of the fight, and uses Furry Cutter on its foe. The Mightyena get slashed a few times, and seems to take some extra punishment from the channeled anger, and almost collapses from the onslaught and pain it feel, but stays in the fight as well. You all begin to wonder who will fall first, the beast or you ally. The trainer, who has been on the hill, looking over the battle, and has seen you all fight your hardest takes out a pokéball, and tosses it at Mightyena harassing Hildebrand, Quinton's Honedge. The trainer, yells at the target before he throws it, and as the target turns its head, the ball flies through the air and nearly hits it between the eyes. The overgrown puppy dematerializes, and gets sucked up into the ball. The ball wobbles a good 3-4 times, but quickly comes to a stop as the Mightyena was too hurt and didn't have enough strength to burst out of the ball. Once captured, the trainer heads towards Ian, as the other Mightyena both blocks the way and seems bent of trying to take him as food. Gina's Gothita, stays close, and tries to convince the Mightyena that nearly took out Quinton, that it wants to play with it. It works, as the Mightyena seems to almost become a puppy, as it doesn't seem to view her or her trainer a threat...to bad it already took blood from Quinton. Litwick, send forth flames, to envelop the Mightyena that has been battling Hildebrand. Flames wash over it, and it too doesn't look very good. Scorch marks are the latest battle wound it has sustained in trying to find a meal.
