Well, they're definitely horses, but Tiki isn't sure if they're Ponyta or something else. They're black and white, and definitely not on fire. She also gets the feeling they know she's hiding there, but at least they aren't trying to run her down right now?

After a minute or two, the Tome declares they are not Ponyta. They are, in fact, Blitzle (the little ones) and Zebstrika (the full-grown ones).

The lightning horses leave you be, just as you let them be. Waaaaayy off in the distance, you think you see something. Hard to say what it is without getting closer though. Looks to be quite the walk. Best get started.

Turns out it was already moving, though thankfully not directly away from Tiki. It takes several hours to find the spot it appeared to stop at. Of course, this isn't even a horse. It..what is it? It looks kinda like a ginormous dog/lion thing from behind. It looks kinda like it has a gray cloud on its back. As you stop for a second, you can feel this 'pressure' coming off of it. Like it's so strong that nothing would want to mess with it. It senses your presence and quickly leaps over the giant lake it was drinking at, dashing off at such speeds that it's gone out of sight before you can even blink.
What. Was. That?

Tiki stands there for a bit. She cant really figure out what she just saw. It was very tall, and quite intimidating. It wasn't no Pyroar, or Arcanine that she had seen pictures of. She needed to get back, and tell Rei and Clay.

While playing at the beach, Tiki comes across this big-ish blue pokemon with a huge jaw and a red crest on its head. It roars at her and charges... kinda slowly, actually. Apparently running in wet sand is harder than it looks (or things just look slow when compared to Ponyta herds).

Tiki stops as she sees the rushing gator. She fishes around for her pokemon, and tosses out Jester the Elekid. It pounds its fists, and sends out some electricity at the croc.

Just as the bulky Croconaw shakes off the light tap from jester, it gets plonked on the head by a ball and zapped inside by the magic containment ritual.
Croconaw is 15, Male, Calm, with Hyper Cutter.

Upon returning to Saffron, Tiki encounters a random girl and her odd-looking Pokemon. The Pokemon has pitch black fur with yellow rings on its body that almost seem to emit a pulsing glow on occasion. She spots you and waves you over.
"Hello there, Guildy! I am Aislinn, and I am challenging you to a 3 on 3 match! Don't be too sad when I win though. You're just another mark for my daily tasks." Her words and her tone don't match up. She's smiling and sounds really cheerful, yet she's proclaiming that you're 'just another number' to her. What a creep.

"Sandile, wrap it up. Keep on going until the sand has wiped it away." Now that is just plain confusing. You don't get long to worry about it before Sandile has created a whirling vortex of sand around Empress.
