It doesn't seem to mind. It meanders about the city, occasionally stopping someplace to cheer someone up with its cuteness. There seems to be no real 'goal' to this adventure, it's just a journey about making people happy.

At the end of the day, Happiny (which seems to be its name, considering that's all it's said the whole time) sits down in the shade after drinking some water from a small pond. It looks up at you, chittering gratefully. It then offers you its egg-shaped rock, which it seems to have been carrying for a long time.

He looks you up and down, then glances at his Pokemon, grunting at them in some strange fashion. (Not at all like Clay's Pokemon speech thing, just regular grunting.) They seem to understand this and grunt back. You have no idea what that exchange was about, but then he turns back to you.
"Getting hurt is how you learn! How you get stronger! Don't you wanna get stronger, little girl?!" He doesn't quite shout at you, but he's very loud/intense. His Pokemon seem to be backing him up with what you think is affirmative grunting.

Drowzee stumbles back from the hit, its eyes shine, and causes the enemy to forget how to use its fire punch. It then goes back to more psychic blasts.

The Throh takes the attack, stumbling forward and managing to send all that damage right back at Temperance before fainting.
"Oh come on, Tyler! You're gonna have to work on that!" He sighs, then turns back to the other Pokemon, Tyrogue. "Grant, you're up next. See what you can do!"
Grant the Tyrogue leaps into battle and quick-jabs its opponent, flinching them.

Tiki recalls her Drowzee, and swaps out to Justice. She happily pops out of her ball, and is is immediately slapped silly. "Come on, Justice! Don't let 'em do that to ya!" Justice shakes her head, and throws out some razor leaves at the Tyrogue.
